As you know, Foot 2 Rue has it's very own Street Football World Cup. This means new teams every year. As the season progresses, each team will have a new member compared to the five members only rule. As well as the new teams, there are also the adults who may or may not provide advice to the Blues/Rifflers. Some celebrity characters like Nico would only appear for two episodes.

!! Sebastian "Tag" Arias Oler (Formerly Tagano)

caption-width:199: The action guy of the show.

Sebastian Arais Oler AKA Sebastian Tagano Tag is the main character and captain of the Rifflers. He is a fan of football and hopes to go professional. Tag is considered the coolest kid in school but he can be a bit of a bully and is prone to be jealous. Despite this, Tag is clever, charismatic and has fangirls chasing after him.

Tag was born in Argentina to Pablo Arias Echevarne and Sophia Oler. By the time he was born, Argentina was right-wing dictatorship state. Not long after, Sophia passed away, so Pablo took baby Sebastian to France. Tag's childhood wasn't easy. He got into trouble a lot and was the Riffler institute's school bully when he really just wanted a friend. Tag is very picky when choosing his friends and usually accepts them in his group only because of their passion for football.

->"So, Tony. I thought you were ready?"

* TheAce: In his own right. He's smart, athletic and charismatic.
* AchillesInHisTent: On multiple occasions.
* AmazonChaser: Why Eloïse is Tag's girlfriend.
* AnimeHair
* BigManOnCampus: Ever since Season 2, he's been the biggest celebrity in Port Marie.
* BookDumb
* BrilliantButLazy
* ChickMagnet
* DashingHispanic: Argentinian and handsome.
* DeadpanSnarker: He gets it from his father.
* DistaffCounterpart: Samira.
* DrillSergeantNasty: In one episode where he forces his crew to do training via martial arts.
* MrFanService: Let us count the ways:
** Hellraiser.
** Multiple shirtless scenes.
** Protective Team Dad.
* HenpeckedHusband: Eloise's favorite pass time in Season 2 is nitpicking at everything Tag does. And they're not even married.
* TheHero
* JerkAss: When he was a kid, especially to Gabriel.
* LatinLover: Not that he knew he came from Argentina.
* MarriedToTheJob: A part of Tag's personality which often upsets Eloise.
** Though sharing essentially the same job means they bring their relationship to the field, much to Gabriel's dismay.
* MeaningfulName: His nickname is a synonym for graffiti in French. His real name, Sebastian, means heroic.
** His name in the Italian dub, Lucifero, means devil and Tag was quite the little devil as a kid.
* MissingMom: Sophia was murdered and the Argentine government passed it off as a car crash.
* PrettyBoy: He had hoards of fangirls despite being 14. By the time he's 16, he gets a haircut and looks like Rocket.
* BlueOniRedOni: The red to Gabriel's blue.
** The blue to Jeremy's red.

* Tsundere: To Jeremy and Eloïse.
** He's also hostile towards authority and the upper class.

!!Eloise Riffler
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Elo_Riffler_2851.png
caption-width:296:That's TheHero's girl.

Since she was a baby, Eloise has been surrounded by the finest things in life. Sadly for her, her parents don't pay any attention to her. She literally has fanboys drooling over her, which she inherited from her mother. Despite this, Eloise doesn't want to be seen as a rich jerk.(This is why Tag resented her.)

Eloise's grandfather owns the Riffler institute. Because of this, she has free access anytime she likes.

->Voiced by: Christelle Reboul (Fra), Jodi Forrest (Eng), Joanne Papandrea (Ita), Gaby Ugarte (Mex)

->"Come on! Can't we celebrate our victory?"

----
* AbusiveParents: Not so much in Season 2 but in season 3, they abandoned her at the Melville while they had a party at their house.
* ActionGirlfriend: Yep. That's her alright.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Averted. Tag might be a FetishizedAbuser from time to time, but he would do anything to make sure Eloïse is happy.
* TheBigGuy: She's more hot tempered than Samira.
* BadLiar: Eloise isn't good from keeping secrets from Tag.
* BlatantLies: So far this is her favorite tactic. When the Rifflers are going through a tough time without Tag, Eloise will always say the opposite just to stop him worrying.
* BigManOnCampus: She was on the cover on Urban Star.
* ButtMonkey: Poor kid never gets a break.
* DudeMagnet: In one episode in Season 3, her entire harem were male. To make matters worse, her mom encouraged her to be a dude magnet.
* MsFanservice: If anything, she gets the most fanservice in the series and she's pissed off about it.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Samira actually called her our for this when she ratted Atsuko out.
** Even though Tag chews her out over relationships, Samira chewed her out for breaking the Bro-Code.
* OneOfTheBoys:So much that she persuades Tag to let Samira join the gang because she was the only girl.
* ReallyGetsAround: Tag sometimes mistakes her for this.
* RedOniBlueOni: Believe it or not, she's the blue oni to everyone except Gabriel.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: Subverted. Eloise doesn't use this tactic in any game but will use this outside.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Was this in Season 1. Subverted from Season 2 on after Samira comes along.
* SpicyLatina
* StacysMom: Her mom is referred to one but it isn't mentioned.
* TeamMom: As the only girl of the Rifflers, she was Tag's 2nd in command.
** In Season 2, Eloise takes it to the extreme by playfully referring to Tag as her future husband. She even told T-Bone this.
** In Season 3, she subverts this by having bad luck come her way but still acts like a mother to Tek and No.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Subverted. Even though, she looks like the girly girl, Eloise is the tomboy.
* TooDumbToLive: Tag and Samira have lampshaded this. Every time Eloise is on her own, Victoria will make sure that Tag forgets about her.
** In other words, Eloise is more like Hikaru Azuma fused with Sora Takenouchi.
* UnwantedHarem: Oh dear God. Eloise has one of the biggest harems in Port Marie, it's almost moe.
** The people in Eloise's harem include Tag, Gabriel, Tek, No, Zangezihno, T-Bone, Mochi and Oscar.

----
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: He claims to be good at it and he makes several references to Jackie Chan and the Karate Kid whilst failing to chop a block with his hand. Even his mentor resembles Mr Miyagi.
* BigEater: One of Jeremy's worst habits.
* BigManOnCampus: Ever since he joined the Rifflers, Jeremy is trying to big himself up.
* BrilliantButLazy: Jeremy did study for a test only for the Rifflers to realize that he was trying to overthrow Tag.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Think Pasila Kyosti and Feliciano rolled into one.
* ButtMonkey: Used To be until Season 3 where more Butt Monkey gags involve Eloise.
* CasanovaWannabe: Poor Samira must think twice before dating a guy like Jeremy.
* CatchPhrase: Tak Tak Tak.
* CaughtWithYourPantsDown: Let's call it a towel shall we?
* ChickMagnet: He wants to be one really bad but aren't we forgetting that Samira's the only chick he's attracted to?
* DanceBattler
* DeadpanSnarker: Saying witty remarks is what he does best besides playing football.
* EducationMama: Possibly one of the reasons he ran away from home
** To be fair, Jeremy ran away from home because his mother wouldn't let him see his father.
* FieryRedhead: Averted. Jeremy's probably too clueless how to be a Tsundere except when Samira's involved.
* IdiotHero: Despite being TheLancer, Jeremy could even star in his own Shonen manga comic.
* JerkJock: He's even worse than Tag.
* TheLancer: He isn't very happy about this. In Season 3, Jeremy seems to be Tag's right hand man. Whenever Tag goes Awol, Jeremy's more than happy to take his place and agreeing with him.
* LargeHam: He often claims to be 10 times better than Tag.However, Tag will never let Jeremy forget that he's number one.
* OfficialCouple: Him and Samira. As soon as the foot massage scene kicked in it was love at first sight (At least in Samira's point of view).
* RedOniBlueOni: He claims to be the blue oni, but he's too lazy so he's everybody's red oni, except the twins.
* TeamDad: He is often this to Tek and No. Out of the twins, Tek seems to get along with him.
* WalkingTechbane: He had a habit of breaking computers especially in Season 2.

* TheAce: Smart and athletic. If Tag was absent for some reason, she automatically fills the roll of TheHero.
* BerserkButton: Hit on Jeremy in front of her and she will threaten you.
** Anything racist or sexist will piss her off massively.
* TheBigGuy: More so in Season 3.
* BigManOnCampus: Beside the Rifflers, Samira has friends outside her own team such as Atsuko, Prenda and Manuella.
* ChekhovsGun: Anything involving Samira has got to be a Chekhov's gun.
* DeadpanSnarker
* DistaffCounterpart: She is Tag's counterpart in terms of personality.
* FanService
** Gabriel, who was the oldest (As well as the tallest since his birthday was mentioned) left for Paris and Samira seems to be the 2nd oldest and the tallest (Although she's the same height as Tag).
* TheLancer: If Tag's not around, she becomes this to Eloise, who's TheHero.
* Otaku: She loves manga and anime much to Eloise's dismay.
* PuppyDogEyes: For some reason, she has bigger eyes than the rest of her friends.
* SingleIssuePsychology: Samira must've seen her father get beat up in a race attack when she moved to France. This has left her traumatized. If somebody mentions it without knowing it, she would threaten to kill them.
* SeriousBusiness: Other than football, Samira is also a fan of Manga and Anime. Even insulting Japanese culture would force Samira to start saying to your face that you just said the wrong thing at the wrong time.
* TeamMom: To Jeremy and the twins. It's not bad having younger siblings. Just ask Momo and he'll tell you the info.
** Some of the older kids like Tag and Eloise take her advice.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Samira is actually the tomboy to Eloise's girly girl.
* Tsundere: A Type B in Season 2, but a Type A in season 3. Samira is the easily angered one (Although not on Tag's level) and Takeshi had to learn the hard way.

!!Tek and No Zaim
-> Voiced by: Paschale Chemin (Fra), Irwin Daayan (Mex)
* ButtMonkey: Tek can't really catch a break. He does get better, though.
* CuteBruiser: Both of them.

* LikesOlderWomen: Both of them fit this description. Especially Tek who eventually hits it off with Lizare.

* AsianAndNerdy: He's part Asian and pretty nerdy.
* BadassBookworm: A bookish and nerdy guy who can sure apply that knowledge when it comes to Street Football.
* BlackAndNerdy: Part African and he's rather nerdy.
* ButtMonkey: More of that in Season 2.
* ExtremeDoormat: He gets this treatment whenever Eloise goes missing.
** No wait, scratch that! He was this to Tag in most of Season 1.
* InSeriesNickname: Gabe and Brains.
* NerdGlasses: Wears round glasses and is the main strategist of the team.
* NiceGuy: One of the nicest characters on the show.
* PottyEmergency: After he scored the winning goal against the Scorpions, he dashed off behind a shed to relieve himself. When the Rifflers congratulate him, Tag makes fun of him whilst Tek, No and Eloise look on.

!!Lil' Dragon Wong

* HeelFaceTurn: He becomes much nicer after Tag decides to let him off the hook after his failed FrameJob against him and later invites him to briefly replace Gabriel during the match against Australia, to the point that he later returns again during the 2nd world cup to fill in for the TekNo twins and Tag after the former two are called back to the Olympic team temporarily, and the latter is injured by one of Victoria's schemes.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Of the five team captains of Port Marie, he's the only one who downright refused to consider allowing the Blues to join them.

* Blackmail: This is how she gets into the Dolphins of Oceania.
* CripplingTheCompetition: Her go to strategy during most of the tournament and the World Cup.
* DaddysGirl: Her mother isn't mentioned and she's very close to her father, whom she often ropes into supporting her schemes.
* FriendlessBackground: Unlike the sociable Eloïse, she always had difficulties interacting with other people, seeing Eloïse as her OnlyFriend.
* TheHeavy: Serves as the main obstacle of the Blues during Seasons 2 and 3.
* HeelFaceTurn: In late season 3, she starts to question her attitude and motivations after Nicolas Anelka advises her that she'll always remain completely alone and disliked if she doesn't change her ways. She then changes full-circle in the season's penultimate episode after meeting Tag's long-lost father, and after learning of his life and struggles against the former dictatorship of his home country of Argentina, realizing that her actions against the Blues are no different than said dictatorship's actions against their citizens for simply standing up for themselves and their rights. Feeling remorseful for every horrible thing she's done for the first time, and now realizing that courage, integrity, and loyalty are more important than winning, she exposes the Dolphins as phonies (they are actually the older siblings of the real team, who stole their spot in the World Cup to have a better chance at winning), getting them disqualified, withdraws from further participation in the World Cup, helps Tag reconnect with his father and apologizes to the Blues for everything, including Eloïse, whom she finally reconciles and reconnects with in the process. She then continues her redemption by making amends with Lil' Dragon (whom she had antagonized during one of her schemes) off-screen and training him and his friends in street football. Then, in the season finale, when the Blues are suddenly hit with a roster crisis just before the World Cup final with Tag and Tek departing (the former to be with his father who is called back to Argentina, and the latter after being recruited to London's pro-football club) and Gabriel being sidelined with a leg injury, she, with some difficulty, convinces them to take Lil' Dragon and his friends on as replacements, essentially helping bring forward the next generation of Blues. She is last seen recording the final match with Gabriel watching both the old and new Blues playing together.
* LoopholeAbuse: Abuses this to hell and back during the debut match of the Black Devils against the Blues, taking advantage of unwritten rules of street football to get an edge, like allowing to substitute players and switching positions when it's needed.
* TheResenter: She grew to resent Eloïse for transferring out and leaving her alone during elementary school after promising her she would never leave her. This resentment only grows when she attempts to join the Blues to try and reconnect with Eloïse, but is turned down by Tag due to her reckless and selfish playing style, and Eloise doesn't stick up for her.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Constantly lets her desire to get back at Eloïse, and the Blues by extension cloud her judgement, which often makes her sloppy and exposes her schemes, especially after they start to come apart; in long terms, when she is initially successful in her schemes, she often becomes overconfident and lets her guard down, which allows the Blues to eventually catch onto and pick apart her schemes, and when her schemes start to go wrong, she becomes desperate and takes drastic measures to get them back on track, only digging herself an even deeper hole in the process.
* ScaryBlackWoman: Has a darker skin tone than Eloïse and Samira, and can be pretty intimidating if she wants to.
* TokenMinority: She's French on a team from Oceania.
* YellowEyesOfSneakiness: Has yellow eyes and she likes to use underhanded tactics to get what she wants.
