Characters that appeared in Tite Kubo's Manga/Bleach. This page is for the Fullbringers, who possess the soul-manipulating power called "Fullbring" and generally belong to a mysterious organization known as [=Xcution=]. Their stated goal is to remove their Hollow-derived powers and go back to being normal humans.

->"Time will constantly try to catch up with you. And with a roar, it will overcome you. Do not look ahead. Hope only lies within the unforeseeable current that will close in from behind."

A mysterious and manipulative individual, Ginjo is the apparent leader of Xcution, although he doesn't seem to care too much for it, or acknowledge any real hierarchy within the organization. He approached Ichigo, tempting him with bogus investigative questioning regarding his father, to arouse his interest concerning Xcution.

His Fullbring, Cross of Scaffold, allows him to transform his cross pendant into an enormous claymore that can use an explosive energy attack.

-->Voiced by: Creator/HirokiTochi (JP), Creator/TravisWillingham (EN)
* AntiHero: Though he helps Ichigo, he's especially brutal towards him. His excuse is that fullbring is extremely taxing on the physical body and the first release of power can potentially kill the fullbringer. However, he does seem to enjoy the darker role.
* AntiVillain: He set up Ichigo because he's trying to obtain as much power as he can to attack Soul Society. He used to be their first Substitute Shinigami but went AWOL upon discovering his apparently kindly benefactor Ukitake had him under constant surveillance, and bugged with a kill-switch, should he ever become Soul Society's enemy. He hopes to use Ichigo to obtain the power he needs to fight Soul Society. When he realises Ichigo doesn't agree with his solution to Ukitake, he decides to try and kill Ichigo.
* BadBoss: He tells Tsukishima to kill Shishigawara after they're done fighting the Soul Reapers since his Fullbring might become too much for them to handle.
* BFS: Ginjo is able to use Fullbring to turn his pendant into a very large two-handed long sword.
* CardCarryingVillain: Discussed in-universe when training Ichigo; he invokes all the Shounen villain stereotypes to make Ichigo feel as though Orihime's life is on the line because he knows Ichigo performs better when there's a genuine threat against someone's life. At the end of the training, he tells Ichigo that he'd make a very clichéd villain.
* DarkIsEvil: He dresses in all black, is manipulative, rude and brutal and freely admits he makes a cliched villain. He is eventually revealed to be the true ArcVillain and that Tsukishima is following his orders.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Ichigo intercepts a thief, recovers the stolen bag and hands it back to the ditzy, grateful owner, Ginjou. As soon as Ichigo continues on his way, Ginjou drops the act, smiles unpleasantly with a FaceFramedInShadow and makes it clear the entire event was orchestrated so he could see how trusting or cautious Ichigo is.
* EvilAllAlong: Via MemoryGambit he made himself forget his actual intentions and believe that Tsukishima was his actual enemy. Upon getting bookmarked again, he goes back to being the actual ArcVillain. Tsukishima states it's because Ginjou is a terrible actor who would have given himself away immediately if the elaborate ruse hadn't been carried out this way.
* EvilCounterpart: He is a darker, more cynical and bitter version of Ichigo. Both are BFS wielding Substitute Soul Reapers with SwordBeam techniques. They are both rude people hiding gentler personalities, who will let out an inner BloodKnight if it will help them achieve their goals. They both have Hollow-derived powers and they can both control their sentimentality if it means getting the job done. However, Ginjou struggles to trust people and holds grudges when his trust is broken. Ichigo is better able to understand and empathise with others and therefore doesn't hold grudges. This crucial difference is what defines their reactions to learning about Ukitake's surveillance and kill-switch: Ginjou cannot forgive and becomes an enemy of Soul Society while Ichigo realises Ukitake was being sensible and instigated a method whereby Ichigo could figure out the truth for himself.
* EvilLaugh: When he is revealed as the villain and achieves his goal, his evil laugh is spectacular. Like he once said, he's a hell of a cliched villain.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Like other bulky Bleach guys he's got a deep voice to match.
* FaceFramedInShadow: When he first reveals he set up Ichigo to catch his "stolen" bag, his face is framed in shadow. Any time he says something dramatic, or when he's revealed as the villain, his face gets framed in shadow.
* FacialMarkings: His Bankai slaps a cross mark on his face, keeping in the theme of his Fullbring name and the X-Cution symbol more generally.
* Foreshadowing: The arc's opening cover chapter features his eye reflection on Tsukishima's sword. The hints about the Kurosaki family to bait Ichigo into X-Cution actually set-up later reveals in the Final Arc, his confession to Ichigo that if ever became a villain he'd be a cliched one. When cut by Tsukishima during the final battle, he suddenly calls Ichigo 'Kurosaki-kun' instead of his more usual 'Ichigo'. When he is revealed as the villain, Tsukishima tells him off for the name change, feeling it should have clued Ichigo in right there and then.
* GoodColorsEvilColors: When he is playing the role of the "good guy" and his "Cross of Scaffold" is untainted, its guard is a shade of gold. After he got cut by Tsukushima to regain his memories and fused his Combat Pass with Cross of Scaffold, the guard became black in addition to gaining a skull.
* HeelFaceTurn: After being killed he ends up in Soul Society and is taken in by Kūkaku Shiba, who starts training him to fight the Vandenreich.
* HerosEvilPredecessor: He was the Substitute Shinigami before the hero Ichigo, and his FaceHeelTurn prompted the anti-substitute law in Soul Society.
* InterimVillain: He's the ArcVillain that is sandwiched between the two major BigBad villains, Aizen and Yhwach. He had neither the longevity or gravitas of the other two, but he was able to break Ichigo so completely that Ichigo ended up sobbing on his knees begging for his stolen power to be returned. The consequence is the restoration of Ichigo's Soul Reaper powers and the truth about his purpose in the story has yet to be revealed.
* LastNameBasis: He calls Kutsuzawa and Tsukishima by their last names. He also only calls Ichigo by his last name when his true personality is released.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: When he's pulled out all the major Shounen villain stereotypes to train Ichigo into discovering his fullbring, he jokes afterwards that he'd "make a hell of a clichéd villain". He is eventually revealed to be the true villain of the arc so it's like he's apologising to the readers in advance for the cliché.
* MemoryGambit: He orders Tsukishima to alter his memories so that he can convincingly fake being Ichigo's friend and mentor until it's time for Tsukishima to restore his real memories, allowing him to steal the power he's trained Ichigo to obtain.
* MetaphoricallyTrue: He said that the ability of Tsukishima's sword is to cut through anything. It sounds like a massive lie, but that's actually the point of the ability: he cuts a person or object's "past" to insert memories of his choice. The sword can switch between being an ordinary cutting blade and a blade that cuts the soul to insert fake memories. It's therefore true that the ability is to cut through anything... it's just that's not the point of the cut.
* MysteriousBacker: Tsukishima suddenly begins targeting Ichigo and his friends and Ginjou suddenly starts helping Ichigo and his friends. The only thing they know about X-Cution, fullbring and Tsukishima comes from Ginjou. Ginjou's reason for wanting Ichigo's help is flimsy at best. He's eventually revealed to be the real villain who cultivated Ichigo's power to steal for himself.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: His first encounter with Ichigo, consists of him acting like a gormless idiot who got his bag stolen. This was entirely staged so he could test out how trusting or cautious Ichigo was.
* OhCrap: When Ichigo regains his Soul Reaper powers, Ginjou can't believe it. Not only did he think it was impossible but he knows he's not ready to fight at Ichigo's Soul Reaper level.
* OlderThanTheyLook: He was a fully grown adult when he met a very young Tsukishima. Now Tsukishima is a grown adult who is older than Ichigo's teenage year group and Ginjou looks like he hasn't aged a day. He's the first Substitute Soul Reaper, so there's a big question mark over how old he is, how long he's been hiding from Soul Society, and how long he is capable of living for.
* PetTheDog: Ginjou made a promise to the other fullbringers that he'd share the power he stole from Ichigo. When he successfully steals Ichigo's power... he keeps his promise and shares the power. For such a cliched Shounen villain, he actually breaks the stereotype with this act.
* PowerDuplication: He has the ability to take the power from others and use it himself. However, he states this is the ability of a substitute Soul Reaper and that Ichigo can do it, too.
* PowerDyesYourHair: When he enters Bankai, his hair turns white.
* PowerGivesYouWings: His bankai gives him weird ribbon-like energy wings that keep forming a cross-shape while he fights.
* PowerParasite: His Cross of the Scaffold, with his Substitute Badge merged with the sword, enables him to absorb and transfer the powers of Soul Reapers and Fullbringers he cuts, which he uses to steal Ichigo's Fullbring and distribute it to most of the other X-Cution members. After Ginjou is killed, Suì-Fēng tells Ichigo he acquired his Soul Reaper powers in the first place by stealing them and killing their original owners.
* PragmaticVillainy: Really hates Tsukishima's sadistic pleasure in breaking the minds, simply because it means they can be of no further use.
* PsychoticSmirk: He has a habit of letting these slip out. His first introduction to the storyline even included one. As he once confessed to Ichigo, when he's forced to play the role of a villain, he tends to go for the cliché.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His Bankai turns his sclera red, and he only enters Bankai once he's decided he has to kill Ichigo.
* Revenge: His long-term goal was to get strong enough to gain revenge against Ukitake and Soul Society for the way he was treated as a Substitute Soul Reaper.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: When Ichigo begins curb-stomping him after regaining his Soul Reaper powers, Ginjo decides to flee. Unfortunately for him, Ichigo won't let him.
* SkeletonsInTheCoatCloset: After absorbing Ichigo's Fullbring and enhancing himself with it, he gains skeletal white armor. By fusing his Substitute Soul Reaper badge with his Cross of the Scaffold, part of the handle of his sword looks like a spine.
* SmugSnake: Is haughty and arrogant when in control. Breaks down fast when he discovers Ichigo's much more powerful than he thought.
* SuperMode:
** Absorbing Ichigo's Fullbring equips him with skeletal armor that augments his abilities to the point where he can withstand Ichigo's full-power Getsuga Tensho.
** His bankai draws out his Hollow's power, giving him energy wings/tentacles, amplifying his abilities, and increasing the power of his Sword Beams.
* SwordBeam: His Fullbring enables him to wreath his sword in green energy and fire it as a massive blast. He also gains the ability to use Getsuga Tensho after stealing Ichigo's Fullbring. In Bankai, he can fire a black one with a purple outline, and he can also fire a Cero-like beam of energy from the tip of his blade.
* TakingTheBullet: When Ichigo is about to be cut by Tsukishima's memory-altering power, Ginjou intercepts the attack and gets cut instead. The twist is that it doesn't change his natural personality, it restores his fake personality to his natural personality.
* TallDarkAndSnarky: He's big, heavily built and is quite sarcastic.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: He loves ramen. He claims that he always carries a cup of ramen with him because he loves it so much, although Ichigo doesn't buy that.
* TrainingFromHell: Subjects Ichigo to this, to the point of slashing his eyes and blocking Orihime's path when she tries to help him.
* VictoryIsBoring: When Tsukishima suggests memory-altering Ishida, he refuses because he claims a fight he can't lose is boring. He wants Ishida to be the key to Ichigo figuring out who the real villain is.
* VillainousBreakdown: When he realizes that Ichigo has no intention of joining him whatsoever despite knowing the truth, he seems to realize his grudge was petty and loses the will to fight.
* XMakesAnythingCool: The name Xcution, and Ginjo's pendant, which is shaped much like an X, or a plus tilted in an X manner. Considering how his fullbring works, it seems his love of its X shape may be part of how he's able to turn it into a sword.

->"How pitiful... Are you so overcome with rage that words won't come out?"

The founder of Xcution, he successfully transferred several Fullbringers' powers to a Substitute Soul Reaper, but killed everyone directly involved afterward and disappeared. He reappears in the present as the apparent main antagonist, causing Ginjo to take Ichigo under his wing and help him unlock his Fullbring powers. He is cruel, manipulative and possesses a power to either cut through anything or alter the memories of others.

His Fullbring, Book of the End, is a katana capable of cutting anything, but its true power is altering the past of anything Tsukishima cuts.

-->Voiced by: Creator/DaisukeOno (JP), Creator/MatthewMercer (EN)
* TheAce: Once he "bookmarks" someone, he dictates the relationship he's had with the person throughout their history. He can become a cousin, a friend, a lover, a colleague, a business partner, or even an enemy, whatever choice is necessary to make himself the perfect person to pour all their emotion into. He takes control of Orihime and Sado by replacing the roles played in their pasts by their brother and grandfather respectively and by inserting himself as the main reason they were able to save Rukia or defeat Aizen.
* AdaptationExpansion: The anime greatly expands his role in the first part of the Fullbring Arc. In the Manga, he attacked Uryu and then disappeared until he attacked Orihime. In the Anime, he makes an EarlyBirdCameo before his and Ginjo's attack on Uryu Ishida, his attacks on Tatsuki, Keigo, and Mizuiro are shown rather than implied, he has a few confrontations with Ichigo before they properly met, and he is shown using his powers to send Hollows after Ichigo.
* AntagonistAbilities: His MindManipulation ability makes him incredibly difficult to fight even for captains. He doesn't have to cut the target: he can cut the ground to turn the environment against the target and he can cut an item that's deeply connected to the target to get at the target that way. Once he's into the mind and past of a person, he knows everything about their powers and tactics and can counter all of them. He cuts a single petal of Senbonzakura to brainwash Byakuya. The only reason it doesn't work is because it brainwashes Byakuya's student/weapons mentor bond instead of the bond he has with Ichigo and Byakuya already has a history of killing people he loves if it's the right thing to do.
* ArchEnemy: Tsukishima is the only person Ichigo has ever suggested MurderIsTheBestSolution to defeating. Tsukishima freaked him out even more than the Grand Fisher did.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: A rather convenient side-effect that Book of the End gives him. Bookmarking a weapon gives him instant knowledge of the complete ins and outs of said weapon.
* AxCrazy: Tsukishima's power has apparently "broken" and rendered "useless" many people before according to Ginjou, and it seems like Tsukishima does it just for fun. Also, it seems like he likes making deranged smiles, which is hardly a sign of mental health in fiction.
* BadassBookworm: Easily the most dangerous Fullbringer, he managed to put up a better fight against Byakuya than any of Byakuya's opponents since Ichigo, and genuinely cornered him for a bit. Even Kenpachi could tell from a single glance that he was deadly, and in the end he forces Byakuya to discover his inner BloodKnight to win. His Fullbring takes the form of a katana manifested from his bookmark. He seems genuinely fond of reading as well, and associates his power to various references to sci-fi literature.
* BigFancyHouse: Lives in a mansion in the middle of a forest.
* Bishonen: He's tall and thin with delicate features and shaggy hair.
* ChekhovsSkill: Tsukishima's ability to change the past has the side-effect of creating new futures for every new past he makes. As a result, he can counter Yhwach's ability to transform the future by creating new futures that Yhwach hasn't transformed.
* DeadpanSnarker: Ginjo boasts about his elaborate plan for why he faked his personality to fool Ichigo only to be shot down Tsukishima's bland comment that the real reason is because Ginjo's a crap actor.
-->"That's not true. You're just horrible at acting. That's why we did it."
* DispelMagic: His ability to alter the past is just about the only way to counter Yhwach's power to transform the future - so far. Much like how Yhwach can "pick out" a grain of sand in the future to alter, Tsukishima can do the same with the past - in this case, altering Ichigo's past where Yhwach did not break Tensa Zangetsu.
* DissonantSerenity: He's calm, gentle, and utterly reasonable in his behaviour. All it does is highlight the level of insanity his powers inflict on those around him. You know it's bad when a villain can make it look like the horrified hero objecting to mind-rape is the one who's being unreasonable.
* TheDreaded: A more subtle example. It's easy to see the nervousness in Giriko and Yukio's features as he makes polite jabs at their personality flaws.
* EvilOnlyHasToWinOnce: He stabs you once, and the battle is finished. At least until he stabs Byakuya and then he discovers the one thing he can't defeat: UndyingLoyalty.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Not as deep as other roles by Creator/DaisukeOno, but still deep enough to qualify.
* FakeMemories: He has the power to implant memories in those he stabs, making them believe they were always his friends. It's used to agonizing effect to cause Ichigo's friends and family think he is their ally and Ichigo the one acting strange.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Rather serene and polite, even when he's faking it, but it just serves to further emphasize his status as an antagonist. It's especially noticeable when he's using his abilities as the combination of his gentle demeanour and his invasive abilities produces a very evil effect.
* FirstNameBasis: As part of his friendly facade, he's pretty much the sole villain with a habit of calling everyone by their first name: Ichigo, Yukio, Byakuya. Ginjo is the sole exception, as the person who raised him and to which he has UndyingLoyalty.
* ForTheEvulz: In chapter 462 he begins messing with Orihime and Chad's heads for no apparent reason, while wearing an horrific SlasherSmile. Ginjo tries to get him to stop. Tsukishima's answer? A polite smile oozing sadism.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: A huge one on his forehead that he acquired as a young boy right before meeting Ginjo.
* HeelFaceTurn: After being killed he ends up in Soul Society and is taken in by Kūkaku Shiba, who starts training him to fight the Vandenreich.
* TheHeavy: He drove the plot of the Lost Agent arc in just about every way; without him, nothing Ginjo did would've come to fruition. Even after TheReveal, he's manages to share equal ground with his partner on account of being more powerful and not at all subservient.
* HiddenAgendaVillain: His motives and goals are just as much of a mystery as his Fullbring was at the time.
* Hypocrite: He considers Ginjo's idea of killing Shishigawara (Tsukishima's loyal follower) just because his power is potentially dangerous, to be a real dick move. This from the guy who Mind Rapes people for fun.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: At the end of chapter 472, Byakuya impales him with a hidden fistful of Senbonzakura's petal-blades.
* InSeriesNickname: "Shu" by Yuzu, Karin, Tatsuki and Keigo after he alters their memories.
* InterimVillain: He gets a brief stint as an antagonist during the Lost Agent arc, just after Aizen's defeated and incarcerated in the Deicide arc. While he shares the limelight with Ginjo, he controls the flow of the plot and sets the pieces up for Ichigo's reacquisition of his powers.
* LeanAndMean: Very tall and slim, and undeniably malicious. Tsukishima stands at 198 centimetres tall (6'6), making him the tallest human character in the series
* LightningBruiser: Hard Hitting type. He can get behind you and stab you before you even notice that he's moved.
* ManipulativeBastard: He bookmarked all of the humans close to Ichigo, forcing Ichigo to get bailed by Ginjo and setting up for Ginjo's MemoryGambit.
* MindRape: When he realises Sado and Orihime are beginning to fight his mind control, Tsukishima takes advantage of this to inflict a brutal MindRape instead of simply attempting to bring them back under control. According to Ginjo it's actually a bad habit of his where he deliberately takes his mind control powers too far simply to permanently break his victims' minds, and he does seem to be enjoying the torture they're undergoing. Fortunately, Urahara and Isshin intervene just in time to save the pair. It fails horribly against Byakuya simply because Byakuya has a history of being capable of killing his loved ones.
* NothingIsScarier: In the first chapters of the Fullbring arc, Ichigo knew nothing about who he was, what his true motives were, nor did he know what his true ability was. The more he and the audience have learned, the more seriously he started taking his menace.
* PeacefulInDeath: In his final moment, Shishigawara's YouAreNotAlone makes him realize that he was never alone and he genuinely thanks Shishigawara for his loyalty before passed away peacefully.
* PowerParasite: When he bookmarks someone, he gains their memories and learns of their abilities and counterattacks accordingly. There's only one drawback - he can't predict improvisation.
* PrideBeforeAFall: He was correct in saying that Byakuya couldn't win regardless of which known technique he would think of using, but he didn't expect Byakuya to improvise instead. This is because Byakuya himself didn't realise until that moment he could engage in Kenpachi-style fighting.
* ProphetEyes: When his mind-control power kicks into high gear, his eyes take on an eerie, evil all-white (purple in the anime) cast.
* RealityWarper: By cutting a person or object, he can alter its past however he sees fit. This has the knock-on effect of changing their future, too.
* RememberTheNewGuy: His power can make people believe he has always been a part of their life and this allows him to manipulate them.
* Retconjuration: He can cut anything to change that object or person's past, which consequently changes that person's future, too. When he fights Byakuya, he can set traps on the ground by cutting the past of the place where they fight, and can learn all of Byakuya's abilities by cutting his blade. He can even counter Yhwach's ability to change the future of a person or object by cutting that object or person to give them a brand new future.
* SlasherSmile: As the arc develops, Tsukishima upgrades his PsychoticSmirk to one of these to produce a NightmareFace.
* TheSociopath: His major focus seems to be on Ginjo to whom he has UndyingLoyalty. However, it's implied he does care about Riruka as well since he was horrified he injured her. Despite those cases, he doesn't seem to care about anyone else. He's not just willing to break the minds of people but he thoroughly enjoys doing so.
* SurrealHorror: Does one of the mental and emotional variety to Ichigo by affecting almost everyone around him with "Book of the End".
* TallDarkAndSnarky: Definitely tall, definitely dark. Mockingly polite to most, snarky towards Ginjo.
* UndyingLoyalty: Tsukishima feels this toward Ginjo, believe it or not. In 478, we see him screaming at the skies as he mourns Ginjo's passing.
* Unperson: If he dies and/or is defeated, his targets completely forget about him. In Chapter 478; Riruka mentions him in front of Orihime, and though she can perfectly recall the other Fullbringers, she can't remember Tsukishima.
* VillainousBreakdown: When he sees Ginjo on the ground, he screams, begging for him not to die and seems to become truly deranged for a while. As he says, Ginjou taught him everything, except how to live without him.
* VillainousRescue: When Yhwach defeats Ichigo and breaks his sword, Tsukishima cuts Ichigo with his Fullbring to create a past where Yhwach hadn't broken Ichigo's weapon, enabling Orihime to restore it. He claims that he's just IWasJustPassingThrough following Ginjo's order to repay the debt they owe to Ichigo.

->"Hide away all the things you want from everybody else and they become yours."

An overconfident and vain young girl, she immediately thinks Ichigo is hot the moment she meets him - Tsundere not that she'll admit it to him. She mainly assists him in his new TrainingFromHell.

Her Fullbring Dollhouse allows her to basically be a RealityWarper to anything or anyone she finds cute, permitting said things or people with heart-shaped "passes." This includes shrinking people down to the size of an action figure and "permitting" them into her cardboard dollhouse.

-->Voiced by: Creator/MegumiToyoguchi (JP), Creator/CristinaValenzuela (EN)
* AbnormalAmmo: Her gun stores miniaturized objects, which re-enlarge upon being fired, to hopefully catch an opponent off guard and crush them.
* ApathyKilledTheCat: When Chad tries to discuss the powers of Yhwach's elite, she tells everyone to shut up as it is boring.
* ApologeticAttacker: When she uses her power to possess Rukia, she apologises because she didn't want to use the ability at all.
* BlindWithoutEm: She can't see properly but refuses to wear contacts since they're not comfortable or glasses since they're not sexy.
* BrattyHalfPint: As a child, if she wanted something, her fullbring meant she could just take it. Regardless of who the original owner was. She only learned how abusive she was being when she kidnapped a human because she fell in love with him.
* ButNowIMustGo: In chapter 479, she's seen standing atop of a building and using her powers to leave the scene. She returns in the final arc, having been recruited by Urahara.
* CharacterDevelopment: She tried to refuse Ginjou's bestowal of Ichigo's Fullbring, and TakingTheBullet for Ichigo was the single most selfless act she's ever accomplished. Guess that happens when you hide inside someone's head and listen to their thoughts regarding their best friend.
* CryCute: In Chapter 478, after waking up and speaking to Ichigo, Rukia and Orihime. Tsundere She denies that she's crying, though.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: She has magenta hair and eyes.
* CutenessProximity: She weaponises cuteness to distract her enemies.
* DangerouslyShortSkirt: Her minidress is a curious fashion choice for a girl her age, but she's willing to fight in it all the same.
* DarkChick: Riruka's fiery demeanor and hilarious love for Ichigo puts her as one of the most memorable Fullbringer in Xcution.
* ElegantGothicLolita: Seems to be her default fashion style.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: She can't understand how Orihime can talk about her DarkAndTroubledPast so casually.
* ExpressiveHair: In the filler additions to canon episodes, her hair is very much this.
* FieryRedhead: Pretty much the standout example in Bleach.
* Foreshadowing: As she begins bonding with Orihime, she becomes extremely guilty over caring for people she knows she's going to be forced to betray. When the betrayal does eventually occur, she's horrified by the extent of it and is forced to participate rather than wanting to have been part of it willingly.
* GirlishPigtails: She acts very girlishly and likes to appear cute. She therefore wears two long bunches.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Her seal of approval manifests as a small sticker-like heart with an "R" on it, and its uses include shrinking Ichigo to fit into in a dollhouse for a TrainingFromHell and sealing a Yakuza inside a stuffed pig.
* HeelRealization: Her exposure to Ichigo, Orihime, and Rukia and how they think, especially given what Orihime and Rukia both say about how Ichigo can change peoples lives, leads her to one.
* HeroicSacrifice: Downplayed. She saves Ichigo from being attacked by Tsukishima and is slashed in the shoulder, but survives.
* HiddenDepths: In her backstory, she was a typical SpoiledBrat who used her abilities for theft like taking the local AlphaBitch's cute locket, but since she still was a little girl, she had no idea just how badly her powers affected her crush after she placed him inside her treasure box. Once she noticed that, she released him. In the end, it gives her a better moral compass than the rest of the group.
* HighHeelFaceTurn: She was the only Fullbringer to protest what was going on, though it didn't stop her from fighting Rukia. After the end, though, she jumped in to save Ichigo after listening to Rukia's thoughts about him.
* HotBlooded: She's prone to snapping at people, often to hide her true emotions.
* ImTakingHimHomeWithMe: Actually weaponized. At will, she did this in her youth but stopped when she realized how it affected her crush.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Riruka might act like a spoiled brat, but she is still somewhat kind deep down, even if she doesn't admit it. During her talk with Orihime she shows a sympathetic face while Orihime talked about her DarkAndTroubledPast and while she is infuriated by her cheerful attitude, she let her eat all the donuts. Orihime even thanks her and calls Riruka a nice person; and Riruka is upset by this and calls her stupid.
* ManOfKryptonite: PlayedForLaughs as her Fullbring is the control of stuff she finds cute, and her opponent was Rukia who has a CutenessProximity.
* MotorMouth: She can get into ongoing, one-sided conversations about irrelevant topics, oblivious over the listeners nearby.
* NiceHat: The tails on the back of her hat, which stand up straight after she's infused with Ichigo's Fullbring. Hilariously, this is just before she fights bunny-obsessed Rukia.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: After Rukia irritates her, Riruka stuffs her into a plush devil. Later on in the fight, Riruka inserts herself into Rukia, causing Rukia to black out.
* PowerNullifier: Riruka doesn't actually know she can do this, but if she traps a Soul Reaper inside a plushie, she can stop them from using Kidou, as the spell will backfire inside the teddy. It also makes it near impossible for the Soul Reaper to hold their Zanpakutou. It does not stop Shunpou, however.
* SpoiledBrat: She views herself as selfish and spoiled. She learned this truth in her youth as her power made stealing what she wanted off other people easy. Eventually, she kidnapped a man she had a crush on and only then did she learn how horrible she was being.
* SweetTooth: She likes her doughnuts.
* TakingTheBullet: She used her body to protect Ichigo from Tsukishima's blade. Her chest armor catches the blade, but it still left a very deep wound. Urahara treated her injuries.
* TokenGoodTeammate: For all her faults, she was the only one that tried to reject an upgrade from Ginjo; she seemed to gain an understanding of Ichigo and Rukia as people; she took a slash from Tsukishima while protecting them; and she scolded Tsukishima for trying to save someone "that was already saved by Ichigo".
* Tsundere: Acts slightly like a DrillSergeantNasty towards Ichigo, but clearly worries about him when he's not looking. Also displayed the classic portrayal of one in her MoodWhiplash-full interactions with Orihime. She's not worried about her either but buying donuts. Cue LuminescentBlush.
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: Her Fullbring allows her to "put" people inside things she finds cute...
* ZettaiRyouiki: She wears boots that reach up to mid-thigh and a mini-dress. Not only is she exposing only a small amount of thigh skin, but she also has the twin-tails and the tsundere personality that go with this style of leg-exposure.

->"I've never formed a real connection with anyone, Fullbring or no Fullbring."

The youngest member of Xcution, just behind Riruka. Yukio is calm and quiet, usually not speaking unless something catches his attention. He seems fond of playing video games. He is slightly annoyed whenever Riruka kicks open a door, as he can see up her skirt whenever she does so.

His Fullbring, Invaders Must Die, is channeled through his portable game console and allows him to imprison targets within a video game whose parameters (such as the gameplay system) and "characters" (his prisoners) are under his full control. It will only function as long as the battery is charged, however - unless it's plugged into a power-source.

-->Voiced by: Creator/MitsuhiroIchiki (JP), Creator/LucienDodge (EN)
* AGodAmI: He believes his control over his video dimension worlds make him a god. Hitsugaya, who has fought much more dangerous god-obsessed people, isn't impressed and quickly shows Yukio the flaw in his reasoning.
* AllThereInTheManual: Kubo reveals his surname in his character profile in the back of Volume 53.
* BadassLongcoat: He can trap people in video game dimensions and control everything that happens to them. He is also never seen without his longcoat.
* ButNotTooForeign: His blond hair and surname implies at least a partial Germanic background. His clothing also gives him a Nazi-esque look.
* CharacterDevelopment: Following his humiliating defeat at Hitsugaya's hands, Yukio treats Jackie kindly and suggests he'll reform the group in a couple of years, including her even though she lost her power. In Can't Fear Your Own World, he stays true to his word. He later appears to help Ichigo and co alongside Riruka without hesitation; This is the same kid who whined about something minor as helping Ichigos training and openly admitted he despised Riruka and wouldn't have cared if she died.
* CreepyChild: He's quiet, reclusive and holds grudges strong enough to decide to ruin his parents.
* CuteAndPsycho: He seems to want to be seen like this. He's a cute little kid, but he brags about how he drove his parents to suicide and sneers at an ally's death. However, when Hitsugaya presses the subject it seems as though this is mostly just a protective facade he wears.
* CuteMute: PlayedForDrama, since his lack of speech as a toddler is the reason why his parents rejected him. Later he is capable of speaking, but he never does so in front of them.
* FirstNameBasis: Is the sole Xcution member that calls Kugo and Giriko by their first names.
* FreudianExcuse: He thinks his parents were disappointed that he was too flawed to be the child of their dreams. He was a former CuteMute whose parents kept locked away due to his speech impediment, and was so lonely that he first used his powers to recreate images of his parents as a sort-of Imaginary Friends.
* HiddenDepths: Claims to have enjoyed how he drove his father to suicide, but when Hitsugaya insinuated that Yukio's parents abandoned him, Yukio was pissed. He clearly takes issue with abandonment, but he went out of his way to defend his parents whom he hated over it, saying that he abandoned them. He's subconsciously repressing his true feelings about his parents, since he doesn't know how to deal with it.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Sure, it's Toshiro who freezes his legs, but at the end, he's defeated by the monsters he created with Invaders Must Die. Hitsugaya spares him and takes out the creatures, but only because he figured that the dimension would remain even after Yukio dies. He froze Yukio up to his hands and head, forcing him to dispel the dimensions within 5 minutes.
* IgnoreTheFanservice: Whenever Riruka kicks open a door, he can see up her skirt, much to his annoyance.
* JerkAss: Can get rather condescending and arrogant, as Hitsugaya noted.
* KickTheDog: When Jackie sacrifices her life to save Renji's, he seems amused by her death, though he admits that he was impressed by her resolve.
* NiceHat: Wears a nice black cap at all times.
* PeekABangs: One of his eyes is always covered by a lock of hair, but which one is random.
* PetTheDog: In Chapter 478 he says that in three years his company will increase in size and promises to hire Jackie and the surviving Fullbringers. Tsundere Then he claims it's just because he thinks they can't survive without him. This was omitted in the anime.
* ProductPlacement: His video game console is quite clearly a PSP.
* SelfMadeOrphan: As he fights Hitsugaya in chapter 466, Yukio claims that he abandoned his parents, stole his father's wealth and bankrupted his parents' company, indirectly driving his father to commit suicide as a result.
* SimulationGame: His Fullbring, after being enhanced by Ichigo's, can create one outside of his videogame console, complete with copies of the other Xcution members.
* ShoutOut: Invaders Must Die is the name of an album by Music/TheProdigy as well as its title track.
* SmugSnake: Actually has a powerful ability, but he was little more than a fly compared to an experienced Soul Reaper Captain.
* TheSociopath: Bemused at Jackie TakingTheBullet for Renji, boasted that he drove his father to suicide, and completely fine with the prospect of Riruka dying. Subverted after everything is over and said boasts are revealed to be a JerkassFacade because he can't deal with his feelings due to said events.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: His reaction to Jackie being NotQuiteDead is both pleasant and understated.
--> "Jackie? Oh good, you survived"
* VillainousBreakdown: After Hitsugaya told him that he was abandoned, Yukio completely loses his shit.

->"At some point I must have realised that these Fullbrings we bear are all that really holds us together."

A member of Xcution. Jackie is a tall woman with short dark hair. She wears a dark long-sleeved shirt with tight fitting trousers.

Her Fullbring, Dirty Boots, increases her physical combat strength as her clothes are dirtied.

-->Voiced by: Creator/AtsukoYuya (JP), Creator/JulieAnnTaylor (EN)
* AbsoluteCleavage: Shows as much as Matsumoto does, with a cleavage that's almost as large in some shots.
* ActionGirl: Tristan's the most action-oriented chick amongst the Fullbringers in Xcution.
* AdaptationExpansion: Enough that her backstory was the first to get revealed in the anime.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: For a while, at least.
* AntiVillain: How often will you see an antagonist TakingTheBullet for someone that struck them down in a CurbStompBattle?
* ArmedLegs: Her Fullbring makes her stronger the dirtier her boots are. They also make said boots heavier.
* BrokenBird: Flashbacks show a teenage Jackie screaming and crying under the rain. Her father bought her a beautiful pair of boots with money earned from illegal activities. Her entire family is slaughtered because her father's activities, leaving her once-loved boots drenched in their blood. She's loathed her power ever since because it only serves to remind her of what she's lost.
* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: Her clothes, specifically her boots, serve as her Fullbring "Dirty Boots".
* FreudianExcuse: Out of all of Xcution, she's the one who has the best and more legitimate FreudianExcuse - she was from a very poor family, and her parents and siblings were slaughtered for her father's involvement in the black market.
* HeroicSacrifice: Tries to off herself to save Renji from being killed by Yukio though it turns out better than it initially appeared.
* Irony: She hated her Fullbring, but she admits to Yukio that she feels even worse without it.
* KickChick: Her specialty, but it doesn't work against Ichigo or Renji.
* SoleSurvivor: The rest of her family was killed off while she was out. When she returned home, she found the bodies.
* StreetUrchin: In her past she roamed the streets while living with her poor family.
* WhatTheHellHero: A more subdued case, but she calls Ichigo out on his hero complex, something that his own friends have taken issue with for years.

->"The key truly does lie in having the correct timing."

The eldest member of Xcution, and their apparent bartender at their base of operations. He is a very to-the-point person, and has a rather cruel way of training Ichigo in the use of his Fullbring.

Kutsuzawa's Fullbring, Time Tells No Lies, allows him to place "timers" and restrictions on basically anything based on conditions of his choosing. If these conditions aren't met, the target is purged by the flames of time.

-->Voiced by: Atsushi Ono (JP), Michael Sorich (EN)
* AdaptationExpansion: Gets a lot more screen time in the anime.
* TheBartender: For a large portion of the arc he just sits back cleaning glasses.
* ClippedWingAngel: He seems to have traded his time manipulation for raw strength, but it only served to give Kenpachi a better shot at killing him.
%% * DissonantSerenity: While explaining his Fullbring ability.
* DrunkWithPower: Decides to take Kenpachi on in a battle of pure power rather than use his ability like it's supposed to be used.
* EvilGloating: Upon getting his powerup he boasts about his ability and seems to view himself as invincible.
* EyepatchOfPower: Which he got when he used his powers to kill his wife and had a brief MyGodWhatHaveIDone moment -- which caused his eye to explode.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Bisected by Kenpachi from top to bottom in a single blow.
* HeelFaceTurn: After being killed he ends up in Soul Society and is taken in by Kūkaku Shiba, who starts training him to fight the Vandenreich.
* HulkingOut: He attempts to fight Kenpachi with a simple contract to boost his strength, causing him to grow large and muscular, even turning green like the trope's namesake. Doesn't mean a thing to Kenpachi, who nonchalantly bifurcates him.
* KilledMidSentence: He wastes so much time bragging about his new powers that Kenpachi gets fed up and kills him with a single slash.
%% * LargeHam: After getting his upgrade, he instantly drops the stoic act and becomes quite hammy.
* ObsessiveCompulsiveBarkeeping: He works as a bartender, and in almost all of the early episodes he appears in, at least once he's shown polishing a glass while standing behind the group's private bar.
* SharpDressedMan: He's always dressed in a nice bartender outfit.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Thinks he's strong enough to take Kenpachi down, but he gets killed before he finishes his sentence.
* TestosteronePoisoning: As if his enhanced fullbring looking like TheIncredibleHulk wasn't bad enough, he's also got a giant "♂" across his chest.
* TheSociopath: No real regard for human life. His way of testing his powers was killing his wife. The trope was enforced by said ability when it made his eye explode for feeling bad about it.
* TheStoic: He's calm and non-reactive for the most part, and reacts in a measured way to everything. Then he beefs up his body and ends up DrunkWithPower.
* ThisCannotBe: The last thing he says when Kenpachi kills him with a single slice.
* TimeMaster: He has the ability to impose time limits that must be fulfilled under pain of death. According to Riruka, he's done this to several others before Ichigo joined up with Xcution.

->"I'm gonna show you how man I am by pounding your face into the ground!!"

From Miyashita Commercial High School, Shishigawara is the hot-blooded minion who devotes himself to Tsukishima. He is largely incompetent at everything he does, but underneath his recklessness lies a powerful Fullbringer not to be underestimated.

His Fullbring, Jackpot Knuckle, takes the form of a knuckleduster with three slot machine icons. Depending on how lucky Shishigawara's roll is, the opponent will experience equal misfortune. Upon contact, the numbers roll, and if he hits a jackpot, Shishigawara can manipulate a probability related to whatever he punches; for example, he causes a piece of the hilt of Ginjo's sword to break off due to "simple wear and tear", or "just happens" to completely dislocate Ikkaku's shoulder with a single hit.

--> Voiced by: Creator/HiroyukiYoshino (JP), Creator/ToddHaberkorn (EN)
* ApologeticAttacker: Apologizes when he hits a jackpot but he's a bit sarcastic about it.
* BlessedWithSuck: The unpredictability of Jackpot Knuckle means that he can't fight with any level of consistency, which makes him incredibly threatening nonetheless since with a lucky hit he can do some immense damage despite not hitting that hard.
* Delinquent: He goes to a school full of stereotypical Japanese thugs. While he doesn't exactly sport a perm, he more or less plays the part with the way he dresses and speaks.
* TheDragon: Initially seemed to be Tsukishima's, but he's just another member of Xcution.
* DumbMuscle: The anime omake and his lines establish he is not the sharpest knife in the shelf.
* GenderBlenderName: Moe is mostly (if ever) given to girl.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: Resorts to it after he breaks Hozukimaru in his fight with Madarame.
* HotBlooded: Odd for a sidekick of a disturbingly calm man.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He tries to act like a badass delinquent, but he's actually pretty soft hearted.
* LogicalWeakness: A probability power that gives a lot of payout up front is going to decline in value the longer the fight drags on.
* LoveAtFirstSight: For Orihime. He was literally falling head over heels as if her beauty smacked him over the head.
* LuckManipulationMechanic: Moe's Fullbring works like a slot machine.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Has a slot machine-based Fullbring that, while unpredictable, is potentially very deadly. Ginjo even seems to consider him a greater threat than his fellow Fullbringers. He comes closer than most of his allies to actually winning his fight.
* OhCrap: He dislocates Ikkaku's shoulder and assumes he's got the fight won, but then Ikkaku nonchalantly sets it back into place with just his muscles. At the end of their fight he thinks he landed the deciding blow for his opponent to come back with a massive headbutt that ultimately knocks him out.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: His name is spelled "Moeh" in Bleach: Brave Souls.
* StrongButUnskilled: His Fullbring power is lethal but he has no training to unlock its full potential.
* UndyingLoyalty: He would die for Tsukishima, but he knows Tsukishima wouldn't do the same.
* WindsOfDestinyChange: His Fullbring's power. If Shishigawara can get a little lucky, his opponent gets to be a lot unlucky.
* WouldNotHitAGirl: If he finds a girl pretty, he won't bring himself to attack her.
* YouAreNotAlone: He refuses to leave Tsukishima's side when Tsukishima is dying.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Ginjo intends to kill him when everything is all finished because his power is too dangerous and he's already served his purpose. This is why he didn't get an upgrade: Ginjo didn't want him getting any stronger than he already was.
