A CharacterSheet for the heroes from ''VideoGame/BattleForWesnoth''.

[[folder: Heir to the Throne]]

The main hero of the saga, and rightful heir to the throne of Wesnoth. He was saved by Delfador and raised by the elves, waiting for the day he'll retake the throne from Asheviere, the Mother Queen and his aunt. [[spoiler:It's eventually revealed that he is an orphan raised by Delfador, as the true Konrad did die, but he gets to marry Li'Sar and become King.]]
* AChildShallLeadThem: Well, not exactly a child, but he's still very young.
* BladeAcrossTheShoulder: How he keeps his longsword.
* BowAndSwordInAccord: Starting from level 2 onward.
%%* TheChosenOne: [[spoiler:Subverted.]]%%ZCE
%%* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: And spiky too.%%ZCE
%%* TheHero
* RaisedByNatives: He was raised among the elves.
* ShipTease: With [[KissingCousins Li'sar]] all the way. [[spoiler:By the end of the story, they're HappilyMarried.]]
* StandardHeroReward: [[spoiler:The throne and the hand of Li'sar.]]
* WarriorPrince: [[spoiler:Except for the Prince part.]]

A powerful sorcerer and wizard gifted with great powers and wisdom. He fought the armies of Queen Asheviere and killed her son, Garad, in self defense. He guides Konrad in his journey and helps him with his knowledge and wisdom.
%%* BadassBeard: Yup!
* BadassBoast: When he scolds the [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome skeptical dwarven lord for mistrusting him]], occasionally when he attacks (and kills) an enemy unit, [[spoiler:and if he gets the kill for Asheviere]].
* BadassGrandpa: His backstory has a level of complexity that could rival ''Literature/TheLordOfTheRings''. To drive this point home, he is the ''only'' Level 5 unit in ''Heir to the Throne''.
* CrutchCharacter: He can easily annihilate everything you throw at him in the earlier levels of ''Heir to the Throne'', though you would ideally be using those easily disintegrated orcs as XP fodder for your other units. However, he stands an equal chance of being killed as any other unit after you obtain the SwordOfPlotAdvancement.
* DeathFromAbove: His lightning strikes, probably one of the coolest animations in game.
* TheGoodChancellor: He was a close friend of and personal counselor to Garard II.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler:Failing to save the real Konrad.]]
* OneManArmy: Against low-level {{mook}}s, at least.
* OnlyThePureOfHeart: Delfador's weapon is the Staff of An-Usrukhar, a LegendaryWeapon that once belonged to a mage of great power. Delfador [[SwordOfPlotAdvancement came across the staff]] during his misadventure in the land of the dead in ''Delfador's Memoirs''. It was only granted to him because its guardian tested him and found him to be a complete servant of the light and thus worthy to be its wielder.
* OriginsEpisode: ''Delfador's Memoirs'', another mainline campaign.
* OlderAndWiser: After ''Delfador's Memoirs''.
%%* OldMaster
* ShockAndAwe: He's the only wizard capable of casting lightning. He got this ability in the land of the dead.
* SimpleStaff: Which he used to impale Asheviere's son.
%%* TheSmartGuy

Elf Lord of Wesmere and a powerful ally to Konrad. [[OriginsEpisode He's the star of his own campaign called ''The Legend of Wesmere'']].
* TheAgeless: Elves are naturally vey LongLived, but it's implied that drinking Crelanu's potion has made him completely ageless -- if nothing else, he's already been around for several elven generations.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He's no Elf Lord for nothing...
* CantArgueWithElves: Subverted, since most of the time he is actually the reasonable one in a debate.
%%* CoolSword
* TheHero: In his own mainline campaign, ''The Legend of Wesmere''.
%%* TheLancer: To Konrad.%%ZCE
* MagicKnight: Upon drinking a necromantic potion made by Crelanu, he becomes capable of casting spells. However, [[PowerAtAPrice he has to fight back the evil influence for a veeery long time.]]
* OlderThanTheyLook: Not that you would know by looking at him, but he is actually the oldest elf far and wide by the time ''Heir to the Throne'' rolls around. He was actually born shortly after the very arrival of the humans on the continent, but his longevity is lengthened greatly due to him drinking Crelanu's potion. This gave him a lifespan that far exceeds that of even a normal elf (which numbers in the centuries).
* OurElvesAreBetter: Kalenz is rare even by elf standards. He has superior wisdom for his age (even after it was lengthened) and combines the magical prowess of a High Elf with the humility of a Wood Elf.
%%* PlayingWithFire: His Faerie Fire.
%%* TechnicolorFire
* WalkingTheEarth: Following the passing of his wife and children, Kalenz left his home and grandchildren behind and began to explore the Great Continent. Part of this was because he could not bear to see himself in the eyes of his grandchildren, which bore a strong resemblance to his wife's.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: With [[spoiler:Landar]]
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: As of ''Heir to the Throne'', he had already outlived his wife and the children they bore, and was in the process of outliving his ''grandchildren''. While he has taken his prolonged lifespan in stride, the narration in the various campaigns he appears in sometimes hint that he is not ''too'' happy with it.

Daughter of Asheviere and [[spoiler:technically the true heiress to the Throne]], she hunts down Konrad, believing that he's an impostor. [[spoiler: She's eventually forced to join forces with him and perform a HeelFaceTurn. In the end she becomes Queen and marries Konrad.]]
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: She's a decent fighter and has a high rank.
* BelligerentSexualTension: [[{{Tsundere}} Not that she'd admit it]]. [[KissingCousins Probably because of the family ties...]]
%%* BreastPlate: Once she reaches Level 3.%%ZCE -- an example should, ideally, mention the trope it's an example of.
* FlunkyBoss: She's often escorted by Royal Guards.
* FragileSpeedster: She's extremely hard to hit without marksmanship or magic, but has a mediocre amount of HitPoints.
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:Starts out as an EnemyMine situation.]]
* TheHighQueen: At the end of the story.
* PrettyPrincessPowerhouse: She's not just Queen Asheviere's daughter; she's her most capable commander and very skilled with a sword.

* AnIcePerson: Casts ice magic.
* EvilSorcerer: Can use magic.
%%* FinalBoss
%%* FromNobodyToNightmare
%%* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen
%%* GracefulLadiesLikePurple

* TheLancer: To Deoran.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: His level 3 unit can even use said shield as a battering ram.
%% * MightyGlacier: He's slow to begin with, and putting him on anything that's not basically pavement easily halves or quarters his speed.

The Minister of Kerlath, he's a White Mage.

%%* TheUndead
