[[folder: Linkara]]
[[caption-width-right:334:[[labelnote:Click here to see him in his original outfit]]http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Linkara.png[[/labelnote]]]]
A comic book fan with a NiceHat who reviews horrible comics. Also happens to be the Champion of our Earth, defending it against {{mad scientist}}s, [[KillerRobot cyborgs]], [[MultiversalConqueror interdimensional invaders]] and the like.

* TheAce: He's a nice-looking hero with wonderful toys and TrueCompanions around him... he wants ''so'' badly to be the perfect NiceGuy superhero and to think that he's much more than his [[Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses Channel Awesome]] co-workers. He has a [[SmallNameBigEgo fairly big ego]] and a SelectiveMemory, his number one priority seems to be whether the fans watch him or not, and his ComedicSociopathy is far creepier than the others because whereas they embrace it, he denies it.
* {{Adorkable}}: He's a card-carrying geek and intentionally gets almost all of his weapons, strategies and costumes from various speculative fiction universes.
* TheAlcoholic: WordOfGod says that Lewis portrays Linkara as a "raging alcoholic" in place of making jokes about suicide. This is especially played up in TheMovie once Linkara's existential crisis catches up to him.
* AlliterativeName: Lewis "Linkara" Lovhaug. L.L., [[Franchise/{{Superman}} appropriately enough]], and he was going out with [[ThemeNaming a woman named Liz]].
** Good thing he [[CatchPhrase loves alliteration]].
* AlterEgoActing: Lovhaug has occasionally referred to "the Linkara character" in interviews and commentaries, but at the same time also calls him "basically me with the [[UpToEleven volume turned way up]]".
* AntiHero: Of the PragmaticHero and MrViceGuy variations. Linkara (the character) is an ultimately good guy who wants to do the right thing, but he has a huge ego and will often play dirty if it scores a win.
* ArchEnemy: Linkara has had quite a few over the years:
** Linkara's original Archenemy was [[WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment Dr. Insano]], a parody of a Lex Luthor like super genius to compliment his faux Superman, whose plots include [[PresidentEvil becoming President]] and controlling a GiantRobot of death. Eventually as Linkara's foes got more numerous and [[KnightOfCerebus dangerous]] Insano became a lot more ineffectual as a villain although he did return briefly as the FinalBoss of the Gunslinger arc and showed that he can still throw down with his foe.
** After Insano, Mechakara appeared to menace Linkara who, in comparison to the [[IneffectualSympatheticVillain ineffectual doctor]], was a lot more menacing and evil. He also had a much more bitter relationship with Linkara being [[spoiler:an alternate time line version of Pollo who stripped his versions Linkara of his skin to wear as a meat suit]] and desiring to make Linkara die as painful of death as possible. [[spoiler:The feeling is very mutual on Mechakara's part who notes that, after his near destruction at the end of To Bodily Flee, the only thing that kept him sane was his hatred of Linkara.]]
** Finally we have Lord Vyce who has arguably supplemented the role of Linkara's archenemy from the other two. Vyce is a Multiversal conqueror who initially sought to kill Linkara in order to save the universe from the entity. However, over time, their relationship became more personal [[spoiler:especially once Linkara defeated Vyce. Vyce then proceeded to become living data and hacked into Comicron 1 and {{Mind Rape}}ing NIMUE for good measure. The two have had numerous battles and he has become Linkara's most reoccurring foe.]]
* BadassBoast: Linkara gets one in Silent Hill Dead/Alive, made even more awesome by being scored with The Ecstasy of Gold.
---> "I'm not some pretty boy with marital problems. I don't have some confused psyche or unresolved parental issues. You're not dealing with a Silent Hill protagonist here! Time and again, someone got it into their head that they could defeat me. Time and again they beat me down, they knocked me out, and they tried to make me give up. You come at me with insecurity, self-doubt, and angst? You try to make me doubt who I am? I am the man who defeated Pyramid Head. I am the man who conquered Countdown. I am the man who fought off the Vohrsoth and destroyed Mechakara! I am the liberator of Kickassia! I am a Starfleet captain! I am a Power Ranger! I'm That Guy With The Hat! I am Linkara! Who the hell are you?"
*** And then at the end of ''Youngblood #3'', we have Linkara taunting Vyce:
---> This is Linkara, calling Lord Vyce. If you are receiving this signal, then you may want to take that huge-ass helmet off you head andreal life "Man, that was crazy!".
* ChekhovsArmoury: You can often spot weapons that will be used in later episodes in earlier ones, such as Captain America's shield. He once had an entire set of videos dedicated to fixing up a Zeonizer (at one point hiding it from the camera on purpose) which was later put to use against Mechakara.
* CausticCritic: Like most of the Channel Awesome personalities Linkara loves pooping all over bad comics. Although unlike most examples of this trope Linkara tends to focus on trashing genuinely bad comics and even comics he hates he will try to highlight positive aspects of them.
* ChivalrousPervert: Being a feminist gives him "an appreciation for the female body".
* TheChosenOne: Deconstructed. According to Lord Vyce, he is "the Champion" of his universe. Not only does this revelation change nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it also marked him out for a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown at Vyce's hands. Furthermore, it's implied that this is [[spoiler: ''why'' the Entity left defeating Vyce in his hands; because he expected that he'd be able to defeat him.]]
* TheChosenMany: Because there are so many champions, one for each different universe, it seems that his title as a chosen hero is less important than he'd like it to be. [[WordOfGod Lewis has stated that]], while Linkara may be "a Champion" of his universe, he is not some chosen one destined to be the one person who can save the world and that there are others (such as Angry Joe) who also qualify. Vice's definition of the term refers to someone who is his greatest threat in preventing him from conquering the universe and thus he needs to kill them in order to make their universe fall. This is pretty telling in that Linkara almost never manages to actually defeat a BigBad by himself instead needing the help of his TrueCompanions, or at times just plain dumb luck, to accomplish it.
** According to the temlins and Jaeris, there might actually be more to this than previously thought, as according to them, a "champion" is the being best suited to defend a universe from attack. But that definition can vary from heroes, to tyrants. So despite there being many strengths, something about Linkara makes him the ideal defender of our universe. Maybe in part BECAUSE of his network of friends.
* TheCombatPragmatist: Linkara isn't much of a fighter on his own (as his beatdown at Vyce's hands demonstrates), which is why he has to resort to magic, technology, and pragmatism to win his fights.
* ComedicSociopathy: Just like the rest of his colleagues. What makes it more interesting, though, is that while the other big names like [[BlackComedyRape Spoony]], [[PsychopathicManchild Critic]] and [[BitchInSheepsClothing Chick]] have fully embraced their nastiness, he's insistent that he's a good guy and his insanity just spills out in creepy bursts.
* CoolGun: He has a magic gun. Where'd he purchase that?
* CrazyPrepared: Linkara has a miniature fan to blow away the fog if ''Franchise/SilentHill'' starts to come for him.
* CutenessProximity: Towards Cybermats. Lewis himself has made an entire collection of them, leading to his fandom (affectionately) calling him a [[CrazyCatLady crazy cybermat lady.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: One his most common forms of comedy is to snark about a comic, an enemy, or himself while being either deadpan or wearing a false smile.
* DemonicPossession: He becomes possessed by [[spoiler: The Entity, as revealed in his ''Ultimate Power #4'' review.]]
* DesignatedHero: Deliberately invoked so it can be PlayedForDrama. Linkara is, arguably, one of the most sinisterly sociopathic members of TGWTG because he refuses to accept his darker side and keeps putting himself across as an incredible hero [[WhatTheHellHero despite doing some unquestionably dickish things]]. He doesn't get the luxury of being a KarmaHoudini, though. There's an entire story arc devoted to the deconstruction of his character.
* DrivenToMadness: Happens often when a comic book seems to get worse and worse, then some final [[GoMadFromTheRevelation revelation]] pushes him over into madness. We find out in Part Five of ''Silent Hill Dead/Alive'' that [[spoiler: Mechakara and Lord Vyce were trying to [[InvokedTrope invoke]] this by providing him with the back story of his Magic Gun. The really scary thing is, it almost worked]].
* DrivenToSuicide:
** When Linkara reviewed "ComicBook/SupermanAtEarthsEnd", he was so utterly disgusted by it that he almost tried to shoot himself, yelling "ANTI LIFE JUSTIFIES MY HATE!!" before breaking down into tears.
** At the end of his three-part ''Amazon Attack'' review, when he realizes the whole thing [[spoiler: was a tie-in to ''[[ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis Countdown]]'']]. He was [[GoMadFromTheRevelation so confused]] that he ended up trying to cut his wrists with his ''gun''.
--->'''Linkara:''' WHY DOESN'T IT WORK!?!?
** Normally, Linkara plays this trope for laughs. Not so in his final ''Comicbook/SilentHill Dead/Alive'' review. [[spoiler: He finally finds out the truly depressing backstory of his magic gun. Long story short, a young girl was tortured to death by her own parents to create it. Silent Hill almost manages to convince him that HE was one of her parents -- and Linkara, being the good guy that he is, couldn't take it and holds the gun to his head. Thankfully, he manages to realize that he's not a ''Franchise/SilentHill'' protagonist and that he wouldn't have done such a thing. Cue subversion of this trope and a truly awesome WorldOfCardboardSpeech, as seen above under BadassBoast.]]
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: He's ''won'' most of his fights, sure, but Linkara has rarely managed to finish any of his enemies off. It comes with them having JokerImmunity.
* FanBoy: Of comics, ''Franchise/StarTrek'', ''Series/DoctorWho'', ''Franchise/PowerRangers'', ''Series/TheWestWing'', ''Series/TheWire'', ''Series/TwentyFour'', ''Series/BabylonFive'', ''Series/BlakesSeven''... He also seems to have the ability to go into their canons, because where else would he have gotten those morphers, pokeballs, phasers, and ''four sonic screwdrivers''?
** [[spoiler: He's actually a magic-user, and casts spells on toys that he has so that they take on the function of the things that they're supposed to be. Example: He has a toy phaser. He casts the spell, and it works like a real phaser. He has run into problems with this, though. He revealed that he had to work for months for the [[Franchise/PowerRangers Morphers]] to work without a Morphing Grid in his universe, and once in the presence of an anti-magic field, the spelled items revert to being toys again.]]
* FatalFlaw: {{Greed}}, and the desire to milk it as much as possible. It's perfectly demonstrated by his Hologram duplicate, who didn't undergo the same character arc Linkara did and thus still felt they were wasting all the power in their possession by not forcing the world to behave.
* FedoraOfAsskicking: Even though the asskicking came a bit later in the reviews.
** In ''WebVideo/SuburbanKnights'', it's revealed that magic in the Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses universe is CastFromHitPoints, and that using magic reduces your own life unless you have ways around it. Linkara revealed in the commentary that what protected him was his hat.
* GoMadFromTheRevelation:
** ''Amazons Attack'' being a [[spoiler:tie-in to ''Countdown'']].
** That ''Doom IV'' had a fanbase.
** The ending to ''Maximum Clonage''
** The very existence of ''Sultry Teenage Super Foxes #2'' causes him to retreat into his own subconscious.
** The Pizza episode makes Linkara actually leave to cry during his history lesson on ''Series/PowerRangersTurbo''.
** The ''BrainDrain'' comic completely missing the point of the Thing's character, and then finding that it was written by Tom [=DeFalco=], former editor and chief of Marvel comics, causing him to have a ''[[LiteralMetaphor literal]]'' HeroicBSOD.
* GoodIsNotSoft:
** He may be willing to [[spoiler:cut a deal with Linksano]], but he also promised a sadistic punishment [[spoiler:(being trapped on the same planet as Lord Vyce) to him should he ever try to double-cross him]]
** When the Magic Gun stops working, Linkara goes after Insano, thinking he did it. He then threatens to physically beat Insano with the gun if he has to, and then says he'll make the doctor eat his own goggles if Insano's lying. It's not played for laughs either, Linkara is genuinely terrifying in that scene. What makes the scene even more uncomfortable is when it's finally revealed why he can't use the magic gun. [[spoiler: He's turning evil]]!
* {{Greed}}: His FatalFlaw. Linkara's main source of power lies in his tremendous arsenal of weapons and gadgets and vehicles, many of which he acquired by defeating the previous owners. As his acquisitions grow, he wants more and more and feels more and more compelled to use them for selfish reasons.
* GuileHero [=/=] ManipulativeBastard: Depending on the tone of the review. He was definitely the former by the end of the Vyce Arc, since it took him using his brain rather than his tech to win the day.
** Taken UpToEleven at the end of The Entity arc, where he [[spoiler: [[MindRape Mind Rapes]] the ''[[EldritchAbomination ENTITY]]'' into [[TalkingTheMonsterToDeath committing suicide]].]]
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: [[spoiler:As of the ''Catwoman: Defender of Gotham #1'' review.]]
* HeroicBSOD:
** Just look at the guy's face after his [[spoiler:defeat by Lord Vyce]]. Thank God Iron Liz managed to snap him out of it... [[spoiler:[[MundaneMadeAwesome By giving him a Care Bears comic]].]]
** He has a long, protracted one, during the events of TheMovie once the weirdness of his life catches up to him and he begins to question if he even still cares about comics anymore after reading so much crap. [[spoiler:However he is able to break out of it by the end and reifirm his love of reviewing bad comics.]]
* HopelessSuitor: He assumes he has to destroy WebVideo/ToddInTheShadows to win WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick's heart, not getting that Todd has no interest in the Chick whatsoever.
* HumongousMecha: [[spoiler:He steals Neutro!]]
* [[spoiler: TheImmune: For some reason, Linkara is unaffected by the King of Worms's influence, requiring a more complicated approach. Unfortunately, we later learn WHY he was immune, and it's anything but a comforting reason]]
* IfItsYouItsOkay: At cons especially, both Doug and Lewis (Doug in particular) like pushing the idea that Linkara has it bad for WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic.
* IronButtMonkey
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: In the Sonic Live commentary, Lewis says that Linkara is a good guy, but he's still an asshole. He specifically points out the fact that Linkara's taken to using his new spaceship to win arguments with his friends, but he would never actually blast any of them.
* LackOfEmpathy: When Phelous has a skull with Critic's hat on top of it, Linkara mentions what happened in WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee, but notes that he doesn't really care because he was locked in a closet for most of the movie's running time.
* LargeHam: Whenever he gets angry, and most of his imitations.
* LaughingMad: Subverted in the Rise of Arsenal #1 and #2 review. It looks like it at first, with a disbelieving expression melting into peals of laughter... And then it turns out he's [[SoBadItsGood actually]] [[{{Narm}} amused]].
* ManChild: An advertisement for [=PowerMorphicon=]:
-->'''[[TalkingToHimself Narrator:]]''' Do you like playing with Franchise/PowerRangers toys?
-->'''Linkara:''' Uh-huh!
-->'''Narrator:''' Do you pretend you're morphing with your toy morphers?
-->'''Linkara:''' Uh-huh!
* MartyStu AuthorAvatar: The concept is very thoroughly examined through his character. It started off when, as a result of his ever-growing ego, he began trying to ''invoke'' this in-universe during the Vyce Arc... [[BreakTheHaughty and hoo boy did he suffer for it]]. Long story short, he'd become so confident in his preparation, strategy and combat skills that he more or less jumped into the fight with the BigBad with the assumption that because he held his own better against Mechakara that he'd win. Cue Vyce's CurbStompBattle, in which he defeated Linkara with pretty minimal effort.
** CharacterDevelopment: After the [[spoiler:Entity]] Arc, this attitude vanished completely. He became a lot more sensitive to his friends' feelings and observations and expressed much more compassion towards them. Even before then, humility began creeping in during the arc. Case in point, look at how panicked he becomes when he realises that [[spoiler:the Entity has taken everybody he loves]]. The proud Linkara of old probably ''wouldn't'' have acted that way.
** Within a year, however, it started creeping back again: culminating in a massive boast after driving off the Gunslinger. It was also at this stage that his progression into a Stu was very firmly defied by [[spoiler:Margaret, his magic gun, turning off her magic; since [[ProtagonistJourneyToVillain his pride was clearly moving him towards evil]].]] Ever since then, he's had to start re-learning what being a genuine hero means.
* MediumAwareness
* MenUseViolenceWomenUseCommunication: "I AM A MAN!" (PUNCH!)
* MrFanservice: Between the snappy dress sense, the feminism, and a reasonably attractive face, Linkara's got a ''lot'' of female fans. And not necessarily for pure reasons.
* MrViceGuy: Linkara enjoys power, and he loves to flaunt it. This is his greatest moral weakness, as otherwise he's a brave and heroic person. But once he has even a taste of power or glory, he wants to milk it for all it's worth.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler: The death of Allen in TheMovie.]]
* {{Narcissist}}: When the Chick can hear the thoughts of guys she knows, all she hears from him is "I'm awesome" repeated over and over. Lewis Lovhaug himself admits that both Linkara and himself has a AwesomeEgo, though he does practice keeping it from going to far.
* {{Nerd}}: He even admits it.
* NeverBareheaded: He almost never takes off his hat.
** In his introduction Q&A he is unaware he's even wearing a hat.
* NiceHat: [[WordOfGod It's magic apparently!]]
* NoIndoorVoice: It's loud even when he's talking normally and not getting angry.
* NotSoStoic: He keeps his cool most of the time, unless they are about topics like bad comics, people like Creator/FrankMiller, Creator/RobLiefeld, and especially ''Creator/JoeQuesada'', or when he's almost killed or someone is trying to kill him, he can get ''pissed'' off. However, the moment he starts to actually curse and not use his GoshdangItToHeck stuff, Linkara becomes a bit more scarier.
* PrecisionFStrike: [[spoiler: He says, "Fuck you, too" to Mechakara in TheMovie before said android's ass kicking.]]
* {{Pride}}: The main reason why he'll never be the hero he thinks he is. His repeated victories and successful strategies tend to inflate his ego to ridiculous levels. It's only ever been brought down after being on the receiving end of a CurbStompBattle from Lord Vyce and being subjected to the Entity making everything a living hell for him. Starting from the beginning of the latter's arc, his girlfriend and Harvey Finevoice have started calling him out on it.
* RobotMe: Mechakara
* SelectiveObliviousness: Still appears to be baffled to Dr. Insano's true identity. [[NegativeContinuity Then again, so is everybody]].
* SelfServingMemory: When he mentions the events of ''WebVideo/{{Kickassia}}'', Linkara neglects to mention his attempt to seize control of the nation, instead claiming that he "liberated" it.
* SillyRabbitCynicismIsForLosers: Part of Linakraís motivation, for wanting to defeat the Entity. Hearing many Lovecraft Horror Stories, about how hopeless it is to take creatures like the Entity on, he wants to defeat them, just to show that there is always hope.
* SkepticNoLonger: He originally poo-pooed the idea of the Entity. Come the next story arc and he's absolutely scared s-less of it.
* TheStrategist: Was the one who planned the uprising against the [[strike:WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic]] [[FanNickname N. Bison]] during ''WebVideo/{{Kickassia}}''.i
* StupidEvil: To paraphrase [[WebVideo/BadMovieBeatdown Film Brain]]; for a guy who reviews comic books [[http://atopfourthwall.blogspot.com/2012/01/wonder-woman-2011.html he makes a crap villain]]. [[invoked]]
* SuperMode: [[spoiler:Zeo Linkara]]
** And now [[spoiler: he's the [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Green Ranger]]!]]
* TalkingTheMonsterToDeath: [[spoiler:Literally. Linkara eventually realizes that there's no way he can beat The Entity[=/=]Missingno. by brute force, so instead he does this, asking it what it plans on doing '''after''' it becomes the only thing in existence and ultimately convincing it to explore what happens when an Outer God dies.]]
* {{Trekkie}}
* TryingToCatchMeFightingDirty: [[WordOfGod Lewis' commentary]] lampshades the fact that, in order to defeat [[spoiler:Vyce]], he had to fight dirty at every conceivable opportunity; which is what led to the WorfHadTheFlu-induced victory over him.
* UnfortunateNames: Was bullied at school because his last name, Lovhaug, is pronounced "love-hog".
** In Secret Origins Month 2012 he joked that, based on his observation that "[[PropheticName If your name sounds like anything, you will grow up to be a supervillain]]", he already has the identity of "[[{{Portmanteau}} Cupig]]" lined up for when he becomes one.
* WaistcoatOfStyle: His costume now includes one.
* WaxingLyrical: Whenever the comic includes text that happens to be identical or similar to the lyrics of a song, his response is usually a continuation of the lyrics.

!! Allies
[[folder: 90's Kid]]
A character created by Linkara to poke fun at UsefulNotes/TheDarkAgeOfComicBooks. An obnoxious teenage slacker who prefers blood, guns, and Creator/RobLiefeld over plot, characterization, and good artwork. Also a huge fan of the UsefulNotes/SegaGenesis, the most ''hardcore'' console of all time which [[MemeticMutation did what Nintendidn't]].

* {{Adorkable}}: Frequently, although he of course doesn't think of himself as a dork, he thinks he's AWESOME!
* ATeamFiring: During the ''Silent Hill: The Grinning Man'' review.
-->'''[[DeadpanSnarker Iron Liz]]:''' "''[[LampshadeHanging Nice shootin' Tex.]]''"\\
'''90's Kid''': "''[[BlatantLies I-I-I meant to do that]].''"\\
'''Iron Liz''': "''[[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments The air's not attacking us]].''"
* BerserkButton: More upset than berserk, but he really doesn't like Harvey calling him an idiot.
* BigWordShout:
** "And one of them has the greatest superpower of all, [[SuperheroPackingHeat GUUUUUNS]]!"
* BlackComedy: Subverted; it looks like he's about to cheer [[ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis Superboy Prime for vaporizing a pregnant woman]], but he stops when it sinks in just how horrible that is.
* CatchPhrase:
** "Duuuuuuuuuuude! [''insert lame 90's comic, character or concept here''] is AWESOOOOOME!!!"
** "I'm 90's Kid, and ''What You See Is What You Get!''"
** (In response to his own rhetorical question) "''Cha!''"
* CrossesTheLineTwice[[spoiler:[=/=]OutOfCharacterAlert]]: In-universe, his idea for a Nirvana reunion involves digging up Kurt Cobain's body and having zombie chicks play him like a puppet is just... going too far even by his standards. [[spoiler: Turns out this is a clue that he's not really 90's Kid.]]
--> '''Linkara:''' "There is something seriously wrong with you!"
** It goes even further than that: [[spoiler: Kurt Cobain was cremated. 90's Kid, being the big Nirvana fan he is, '''should know this'''.]]
* {{Crossover}}: Is best friends with WebVideo/EightiesDan.
* DamnedByAFoolsPraise: He serves this purpose with regard to many of the worst qualities of UsefulNotes/TheDarkAgeOfComicBooks.
* DarkAgeOfSupernames: His ideal comic book hero is named "Bloodgun", and wields a BFG called "the Bloodgun of Bloodgun".
* DarkerAndEdgier: A big fan of this.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Got to review ''Freak Force #1'' when Linkara went missing.
* DeadAllAlong: [[spoiler: The Entity/Missing No. has been impersonating him. The ''real'' 90's Kid got taken before the KISS Comics review. Thankfully, he gets better.]]
* DiscoDan: Possibly...his backstory and age aren't clear, and in his "Freak Force" review he specifically says [[DawsonCasting he's not a man, he's just a kid]]. On the DVD, Lewis acknowledges his estimated age (between 12-16) would mean either he didn't actually grow up in the 90's, or he entered a time vortex ála WebVideo/EightiesDan
* DistaffCounterpart: 80's Chick.
* TheDitz: To the point that he appears in ''WebVideo/ToddInTheShadows''[='=]s review of "S&M" to display the intellectual capacity of the website ("What's a {{Music/Rihanna}}?").
* DorkAge: An in-universe parody of it.
* DropInCharacter:
--> '''Linkara:''' "Just ignore him -- he's like a pop-up ad, he won't go away."
* DrowningMySorrows: When Rob Liefeld announces he's officially retired from comics, he winds up getting plastered... [[DrunkOnMilk on soda]].
-->'''Harvey:''' I don't understand, he only has diet coke in that thing. How is he drunk?\\
'''Dr. Linksano:''' I've learnt not to question these things.
* EmbarrassingFirstName: [[spoiler: Evelyn.]]
* EnemyMine: [[spoiler: 90's Kid is revealed to be working with Lord Vyce at the end of the King of Worms arc and in fact has been gathering materials to repair Vyce's armour. However, Harvey believes that he is only doing so in fear of The Entity returning, but it turns that he knows Linkara will become the Entity and is working with Vyce to stop it.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: Even ''he'' thinks [[ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis Superboy-Prime killing a pregnant woman]] was going too far.
** He also agrees that "Deathblow" is a pretty stupid name.
** [[spoiler:Despite his EnemyMine with Vyce, once the latter proves to be too paranoid to believe seeing the Entity self-destruct for good with his own eyes and goes on a VillainousBreakdown and willingly seeks to destroy this universe in the process, he draws the line, but gets thrown in the brig, along with Harvey, Pollo, and Linksano, in the process]].
* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler: Subverted, he's working with [[ArchEnemy Vyce]]...[[EnemyMine on stopping the Entity]], who's now possessing Linkara. He didn't say anything, because he was trying to keep that fact away from it for as long as possible.]]
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: [[spoiler: In the behind-the-scenes extras on the DVD, Lewis suggests this might be the case]]
* ForHappiness: He loves TheNineties so much because they were ''fun''. He thinks ''everyone'' should just have a lot more ''fun''.
* FriendsRentControl: He appeared in a [[TheCameo cameo]] in WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic's review of ''Film/BioDome'' to explain how it was apparently the way things worked in TheNineties.
** And then [[RealityEnsues Reality Ensued]] when his landlord arrived with an eviction notice... And a battering ram... And a sawed-off shotgun.

* GenderBlenderName: His real first name is [[spoiler: Evelyn]].
* HeroicBSOD: After the above [[ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis Superboy-Prime incident]]. [[MoodWhiplash He gets better after picking up a Rob Liefeld comic]].
** He has another one when [[WebVideo/BrowsHeldHigh Oancitizen]] tells him that Music/{{Nirvana}} is responsible for the creation of {{Music/Nickelback}}.
*** Which is [[HilariousInHindsight especially funny]] considering how Linkara has stated that, [[{{YMMV/Nickelback}} unlike most critics]], he actually ''likes'' Nickelback.
* HiddenDepths: During his argument with Harvey Finevoice and Linksano during the Thing Story Arc, he revealed knowledge of Rock and Roll outdoing lounge music for decades. Showing that he did have some knowledge beyond his 90's know how.
** Subverted in the ''Wild Thing #1'' review:
-->'''Linkara:''' By the way, did you know 90's Kid is a technological savant?\\
'''90's Kid:''' Duuuuuuude, I put a ''clock'' on a ''screwdriver!''\\
'''Linkara:''' He has his off days.
** [[spoiler: Turns out he wasn't joking; TheMovie reveals that 90's Kid is actually the one who handles most of the maintenance on the ship. In fact, he has an entire speech pointing out he's not an idiot...he just REALLY likes the 90's...for the GOOD parts, not the bad parts. Plus, he likes being underestimated. They were TRYING, even if it went in a bad direction.]]
** [[spoiler: He has been spending his time with Lord Vyce, of all people, hashing out some sort of calculated plan to stop the Entity's return.]]
* {{Keet}}
* LargeHam: To an annoying degree.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Constantly has [[Music/{{Nirvana}} "Smells Like Teen Spirit"]] (and sometimes [[Music/WeirdAlYankovic "Smells like Nirvana"]]) playing in the background, except when he reviewed ''Freak Force'' where it was the song that played over the title card instead.
* LikeAGodToMe: "Liefeld, you are my god!"
* LimitedWardrobe: He's always wearing that {{Grunge}}y plaid shirt and a black "WYSIWYG" (What You See Is What You Get) shirt.
* MeaningfulRename: [[spoiler: At the end of the Sleepwalker Arc, he proudly states to Linkara that his experiences have matured him, and so has accordingly renamed himself "90's Dude". ** [[spoiler: And yet, every video after the arc with a 90's Kid segment shows his name as 90's Dude.]]
* MoralityPet: [[spoiler: Revealed to be serving as this to Vyce in their secret collaboration. However, it doesn't last, though even as Vyce throws him in the brig when 90's Kid draws the line, the villain admits his sincere respect for the latter]].
* TheNineties: Though he briefly turns into [[TheSixties 60s Kid]] after [[ItMakesSenseInContext Mickey Mantle punches a hole in reality]] in the ''Mickey Mantle #2'' review, complete with [[{{Leitmotif}} "Smells Like Teen Spirit"]] being replaced by [[Music/TheBeatles "Good Day Sunshine"]].
* NoIndoorVoice: His catchphrase is proof enough.
* {{Not}}: In the "Raver #1" review, he calls out the title character for using this incorrectly.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: In TheMovie, he tells Lupa that this is a major benefit of being so... well... 90's Kid.
* PerverseSexualLust: Has written both a fanfic and a review script where he makes out with WebVideo/ObscurusLupa, though when he actually meets her in the movie, he tones this way down.
* RealMenWearPink: Judging from his {{Waking Non Sequitur}}s, beneath his love of the grim and gritty he harbors a secret fondness for the ''Franchise/CareBears''.
* SigningOffCatchPhrase: "I'm 90's Kid, and what you see is what you get!"
* SmallNameBigEgo: During the Guns and Sorcery Arc, he claims that he's the main reason why people watch the show. [[AIIsACrapshoot Holokara]] takes it ''very'' poorly.
* SurferDude: He gives off this vibe.
* SympathyForTheDevil: After [[spoiler: Lord Vyce is killed in the portal, he expresses some sadness that it turned out that way, since he'd been working with him for several years and had gotten to know him]].
* TotallyRadical

[[folder: Alex Munroe]]
Lead character from ''VideoGame/StarTrekEliteForce'', which Linkara did a LetsPlay of. Originally an ensign in [[Franchise/StarTrek Starfleet]], now promoted to lieutenant.

* CatchPhrase: "''I'm Ensign Munroooooooe!''"
* LargeHam
* OnlySaneMan[=/=]HypercompetentSidekick: Compared to the rest of the crew of ''Voyager'', that is...

[[folder: Allen Park]]
Linkara's liaison in the US government. Up until the conclusion of 2013's Halloween arc, he had not made a physical appearance or had any lines; he was only alluded to on the other end of Linkara's phone calls. Portrayed by {{Creator/Lanipator}}.

* BadassBeard
* [[spoiler: BrainwashedAndCrazy: Becomes a loyal servant of the King of Worms for a short time. Shorter than the others, to be honest. His subservience isn't even shown on screen.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: He kinda has to be in order to keep up with Linkara.
* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler: In Part 2 of the Movie. [[BackFromTheDead Comes back]] at the end of Part 4 as a result of Europa's energy field healing him]].
* TheGhost: Until ''2001: A Space Odyssey #1''.
* MomentKiller: Notably, he interrupts the dramatic reveal of Linkara's new costume.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler: He becomes Linkara's in TheMovie, dying in part 2.]]
* ProperlyParanoid: The reason Linkara has a liaison in the US government, as [[spoiler:Jaeris]] finds out, is that people would naturally get somewhat nervous over a large, heavily-armed spaceship floating in orbit.
** The government has [[spoiler: protocols in case he is replaced with a robot duplicate]]. Allen considers this an obvious set of preparations.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Implied. Linkara states that he trusts Allen, but not his technicians.
** The reasoning behind it is explained in the Movie, when it's revealed that originally the US government wanted Linkara assassinated for his possession of Comicron-1, but Allen dissuaded them from doing so as long as he doesn't do anything to affect the world geopolitical situation.
* SharpDressedMan

[[folder: Boffo the Clown]]
A clown in a [[Film/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory Willy Wonka]] suit introduced to fight the MonsterClown stereotype. Communicates with a horn. Later made into Linkara's accountant.

* ItsProbablyNothing: Linkara's reaction to his disappearance.
* MonsterClown: Defied.
** Amusingly, [[{{Film/Subspecies}} Radu]](as played by WebVideo/ObscurusLupa) still finds him creepy.
** Though, as Linkara's accountant, he does appear to be robbing him blind.
* NonIronicClown: Heís supposed to be this as a way to combat the MonsterClown trope with varying degrees of success.
* SacrificialLamb: He lasts less than 30 seconds before he's abducted by the Entity off camera.
* UnexplainedRecovery: [[spoiler: Returns with the rest of the world at the end of ''Pokemon: The Electric Tale of Pikachu'' #1.]]
* TheUnintelligible: He communicates through his bicycle horn rather than words and he doesn't tweet out any sentences, he just tweets emotions.

[[folder: Continuity Alarm]]
A device which starts beeping loudly and flashes its name on the top and bottom of the screen whenever Linkara starts rambling about continuity issues in a comic.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Disappears for about a year...
** TheBusCameBack: ...and reveals in the 200th episode that it spent the year burning off its accumulated vacation days that had been building since the show started, only to promptly disappear again until the ''Infinite Crisis'' review, in which it's revealed it has since been re-purposed.
* ContinuitySnarl: Its purpose is to prevent discussions on this.
* DeadpanSnarker: Will occasionally alter the "CONTINUITY ALARM" text to make smart remarks and bicker with Linkara.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: It gets broken and is one of the first signs of Mechakara's meddling... [[spoiler: or so we are led to believe. It was actually broken by Dr. Linksano.]]

[[folder: Doctor Linksano[=/=]Oscar Schlumper]]
A Dr. Insano from an alternate reality where Linkara became Insano instead of Spoony. He is trying to take Insano's spot as BigBad and designated science villain, but isn't very good at it. His latest failure led to Linkara hiring him as his scientific adviser, and he has remained on his side ever since.

* AlasPoorVillain: [[spoiler:The Entity attacked him at the end of The Backstreet Project #1.]]
* BadassLongcoat: Minus the badass.
* BigBadWannabe: During his brief arc Linksano tired to take over as Linkara's replacement for Doctor Insano however he proved even more pathetic then the good doctor (who at least to his credit actually managed [[BewareTheSillyOnes a few victories against Linkara]]). Hell Linkara didn't even know that Linksano existed until he finally showed himself at the end of the arc. It's why he eventually gave up on his EvilPlan entirely and joined the good guys instead.
* [[spoiler: BrainwashedAndCrazy: Becomes a loyal servant of the King of Worms for a short time.]]
* ButtMonkey: Spends most of his arc ignored by Linkara and doesn't fare very well after it finishes.
* ContinuityNod: He's actually Oscar Schlumper from Spoony's Party Mania review, while his brother Wayne is the Insano of their universe.
* CutLexLuthorACheck: Linkara does just this to get him to become a member of his group. In addition to offering him pay as Linkara's scientific adviser, he also explains to Linksano just how much of a hard and thankless job running the world would be if he were to actually conquer it, and gives Linksano full access to Comicron-1's science lab (to satisfy his scientific urges), and holodeck (to satisfy every ''other'' power fantasy that running the world wouldn't actually give him time to indulge in). Mad scientist or not, Linksano realizes how much of a good deal that is, and signs on.
* DefeatEqualsFriendship: Built a Cybermat to fry Linkara, didn't work, got himself a logic bomb dropped on him, HeelFaceTurn.
* EnemyMine: He teamed up with Linkara against their common foe Lord Vyce, tired of running from him through different universes.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: His introduction has him reveal to the viewer that he broke the Continuity Alarm and plans to take over our universe in the most [[LargeHam hammy]] way possible, and then gets hit the face by Linkara opening a door wondering if he heard something.
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** In Linkara's joint review of ''Film/TheSpirit'' with [[WebVideo/BadMovieBeatdown Film Brain]], Linksano thinks that melting someone's face is acceptable, but melting a cat (as Octopus does in the movie) is just wrong.
** Spoony question if there's a Linksano than in Linksano universe if Spoony is "Spoonkara". Linksano replies with a bit of humorous disgust and says that would be stupid.[[note]]However one year Spoony did an April Fool's episode of Atop The Fourth Wall pretending to be Linkara, which one can headcanon to actually be a review from Spoonkara that accidentally got posted to our universe's Website/YouTube somehow[[/note]]
* TheEvilGenius: Under Lord Vyce.
* {{Expy}}: He is one for Doctor Insano from WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment. Linkara created Linksano because he felt bad about asking Spoony to play Insano for him over and over. It's eventually justified as him being Insano's counterpart from alternate reality; then it turns out that he's Oscar Schlumper, which means he's actually the ''brother'' of that universe's Insano. The characters have since diverged, with Insano rejecting the same arguments that led Linksano to his HeelFaceTurn.
* FillerVillain: Basically just a breather between Mechakara and Vyce. However, in the Vyce arc, he returns in a much more important role.
* TheGogglesDoNothing
* GoKartingWithBowser: Linksano briefly joins a rock band formed by [[spoiler: Whately]], even though he's still on Linkara's side.
* HamToHamCombat: With Dr. Insano in Warrior 2 & 3
* HeelFaceTurn: in All-American Comics #16. It should be noted that when when Linkara [[spoiler:(under the influence of the Entity)]] starts hijacking satalights [[KillSat for space based weaponry]], he leaves with the others due to moral objections.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: In Reagan's Raiders #1, after seeing [[spoiler:Lord Vyce easily beat Linkara and Harvey]], Linksano wisely decides not to confront him, knowing he's out of his league.
* LargeHam: He's an alternate Doctor Insano, and is every bit as hammy as him. This does not drop after his HeelFaceTurn.
* LogicBomb: On the receiving end of one from Linkara, just before his HeelFaceTurn.
* MadScientist
* TheMole: Against Vyce.
** [[spoiler:And now for the King of Worms, it seems.]]
* MrExposition: His primary role post HeelFaceTurn.
* RealityWarper: Manages to build a machine called the "Black Light Generator" at the end of "Justice Act Of God" Part III, an obvious reference to the black light in the comic, that changes the world however he wants it... And he gets swiftly defeated by Pollo shooting it out of his hand.
* RedemptionPromotion: His science often still fails, but the story takes him far more seriously as an ally of Linkara's than as a villain.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: The minute he found out Lord Vyce was coming to his home dimension. Did the same when Vyce came to this one.
* TheStarscream: He stabs Vyce in the back so he could be a conqueror and latter tries to betray Linkara but after Linkara convinces him otherwise he seems to have some genuine loyalty to him.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: He owes his existence to Linkara's desire not to need to bug Spoony for Doctor Insano footage.
* TrrrillingRrrs
* UnexplainedRecovery: [[spoiler:He comes back after the Entity's defeat.]]
* UnknownRival: His defeats have either been by accident or by Pollo. Linkara didn't even know about him until the final stage of his plan.
* VocalEvolution: In his first appearances, his voice was high-pitched and screechy, but later on it got deeper and gained a slight accent.
* WeCanRuleTogether: Extends this to Insano when they're fighting in "Warrior 2 & 3" review that could have a VillainTeamUp instead. Insano likes the idea, but nothing comes of it because Linkara a bunch of other reviewers how up and beat them and the rest of the Insanos up.
* WhamLine: Has given out a few.
** "Weep for your universe, Linkara. Weep for all universes! For Lord Vyce is coming, and all he sees, he conquers!"
** "Now's where things get ''really'' interesting!"
** [[spoiler: "I hear and obey."]]

[[folder: Erin]]
A thief who appears one day in order to steal the Magic Coin. Erin is a fellow internet reviewer (albeit an much less successful one) who reviews ancient artifacts with her robot sidekick Sarris. After inadvertently saving Linkara's life by stealing the Magic Coin during the 2015 Halloween arc Linkara recruits her to become his historian on all things strange and mythical.

* AloneWithThePsycho: At the end of the ''Ultimate Power #4'' review, poor Erin ends up realizing that [[spoiler:she hasn't been talking with Linkara at all, but instead the Entity]]. She quickly gets the hell out of dodge.
* BadassLongcoat: Wears a red leather coat and regularly breaks into dangerous places to ''borrow'' magical artifacts to review for her show.
* BlackmailIsSuchAnUglyWord: Erin doesn't steal magical artifacts, she ''borrows'' them and has every intention on giving them back to their owners when she's done.
* CuttingTheKnot: While the rest of Linkara's friends [[spoiler: and Vyce]] tried resurrecting [[spoiler: Comicron 1]] to inspire Linkara [[spoiler: in order to break the Entity's hold on him]], Erin comes up with the much more straightforward plan of [[spoiler: shoving the Magic Coin into the Entity's face and forcing it to leave Linkara's body]].
* DistaffCounterpart: Serves as one for Linkara; she's a reviewer of lesser known properties (and thus doesn't have the largest fanbase), has a talking RobotBuddy that helps her, and relies on gadgets and [[GuileHeroine wits]] to overcome stronger adversaries.
* MsExposition: She provides a lot of backstory regarding the origins of the Magic Coin. This is justified since she researches all of the artifacts she finds for her review show.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Despite being instrumental in [[spoiler: freeing Linkara's mind from the Entity]], she disappears at the end of that episode and isn't featured again for the rest of the Sleepwalker arc. She makes a return in the Contest of Champions arc.

[[folder: The Gunslinger, AKA Jaeris]]
A mysterious man from another dimension with his own Magic Gun, who wants to gets his hands on Linkara's. It's revealed in Youngblood #5 that he is a critic from a dimension where SOPA (or perhaps [[WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee SUCKA]]) succeeded and created a dystopian government that he seeks to rebel against, and that he's taking other magic guns to aid said resistance, becoming Linkara's ally in the process.

* AnimeHair: He has ridiculously long (and obviously fake out of universe) blond hair twisted into a braid.
* AntiHero: Starts of as a ClassicalAntiHero who despite arguably being a better sorcerer than Linkara, in the sense that he created his own magic gun, is nowhere near as badass, being unsure of what to do, and leaving his world to find allies as he's not powerful enough to help it on his own. After the "magnificent seven" dies he becomes more of a PragmaticHero, stealing other magic guns to help the resistance and (presumably) gaining a few levels in badass in the process. At the time of his encounter with Linkara he's a borderline case of UnscrupulousHero, not caring about anyone but himself and his cause and ignoring Sierra's attempts at dissuading him from attacking Linkara despite the latter's track record. It's only after [[spoiler: becoming trapped in Linkara's universe]] does he begin to [[HeelRealisation realise just how much harm he had caused and that his current predicament is his own fault]], making amends with Linkara and eventually [[spoiler: helping him fight Lord Vyce after he attempts to retake Comicron-1 again]], becoming a genuine hero.
* AntiVillain: Type III-IV. He was stealing magic guns in order to arm the natives of his universe against a tyrannical government, after discovering that their original wielders, the so-called "magnificent seven", couldn't survive dimension hopping for long. Any time he has shown any clear villainous behavior/personality traits is just part of his ploy to anger Linkara.
* BadassBookworm: He's knowledgable enough in science and magic to build a dimension crossing starship, a fully sentient AI, and a Magic Gun powerful enough to be a match for Linkara's.
* BadassLongcoat: He has an impressive long black coat and is tough enough to pose a serious threat to Linkara.
* BerserkButton: He gets really ticked off when he finds Linkara and Pollo inside his house.
* BraidsOfAction: How he keeps his hair.
* TheBusCameBack: [[spoiler: Two years after his previous appearance, Jaeris returns to rescue Linkara from a space between universes in the ''The Real Ghostbusters in Ghostbusters II'' Review, even returning the mobile emitter to Linkara. A year after that, he returns again to assist Linkara in preparing for the Contest of Champions.]]
* TheCollector: One of his lines in his first appearance implies that he's successfully stolen Magic Guns from others in the past. His collection is revealed in the ''Marville #3'' review.
* CombatPragmatist: [[spoiler: He doesn't bother attacking Linkara head on, instead shooting him in the back when he least explects him. Also he's smart enough to predict that Linkara will board his starship during the space battle with Comicron-1, prefering to stay out of sight and ambush him when he has his guard down instead of fighting him directly]].
* DeadpanSnarker: He has his moments, such as after being told to [[spoiler: fly Comicron-1 into the sun]].
--> ''Yeah, I can see that your plans are the height of sanity.''
* DeathWorld: To the Gunslinger, Linkara's Earth is toxic to the point of potentially being fatal.[[spoiler: That is, until he's forcefully bound to it. Now ''his'' world of origin is toxic to him instead.]]
* DespairEventHorizon: [[spoiler: After leaving his universe to find allies he assembles what he describes as "just like the magnificent seven, except there's nine of us." Nine magic gun wielders (including him) only to watch them slowly die as they couldn't survive in his universe for long which results in him developing his unwillingness to ask others for help, including Linkara. Which along with trying to get Linkara to attain an UnstoppableRage to obtain a fully unlocked Magic Gun, ultimately results in him becoming permanently bonded with Linkara's universe. What follows is him [[DrowningMySorrows drowning his sorrows]]. For months on end]].
* DistressedDude: His capture in the King of Worms arc finally alerts Linkara to the King's activities.
* DualWielding: Has the potential to do this, but hasn't actually done it yet.
** [[spoiler: His wife, Joanna, has his gun's twin.]]
* [[spoiler: EarnYourHappyEnding: During the Christmas 2014 storyline, a woman is found to have infiltrated Linkara's apartment, much like Jaeris himself did. Turns out this is Joanna, his wife, who had been jumping around herself looking for him. Not only does Jaeris finally reunite with her, but Linkara, by that point, has finished Jaeris' new anchor for his home dimension. After gleefully hugging Linkara and thanking him and telling him a half-hearted "up yours" (because Linkara reminded him of who stranded him here in the first place), he heads off.]]
* {{Expy}}: Visually, he's based on [[VideoGame/{{Suikoden}} Yuber]] from ''VideoGame/{{Suikoden 3}}''. Not so much in the personality department.
* GadgetWatches: His pocket watch appears to serve as a teleportation device, allowing him to beam in and out of Linkara's home.
** [[spoiler: It also acts as an anchor to his home dimension, keeping him from being assimilated by this dimension, which would keep him from going home. Linkara eventually makes him a new one.]]
* TheGunslinger: Of course.
* HeelFaceTurn: Joins Linkara to fight Dr. Insano and, while not ready to accept him as a friend, does accept him as an ally.
* HeroOfAnotherStory
* KnightOfCerebus: While he doesn't pose much of a threat when he first appears, right after words Linkara's magic stops working, kicking off a much more serious plot. NotSoHarmlessVillain showed how dangerous he can be. Post HeelFaceTurn he's more comical.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: For tropers who have just gotten up to the Gun and Sorcery arc, him being listed in the ''Allies'' folder instead of the ''Villains'' folder will come as quite a surprise.
* MoralityChain: [[spoiler: Although he's not a [[AntiVillain fully malevolent villain]], it's implied that his wife acts as one, though she's been left behind in his home dimension.]]
* MoralityPet: Is extremely nice and openly friendly with his own AI Sierra, despite his former anti-villain status.
* NiceHat: A black bowler hat.
* NoNameGiven: According to Linkara, he's just known as the Gunslinger. That is, until Pollo gets his video logs and his name is revealed to be Jaeris.
* NotSoDifferent: The Gunslinger was actually a critic from his world, much like Linkara.
** [[spoiler: And as Pollo's quick to point out, he's also not so different from [[KillerRobot Mechakara]], [[MultiversalConqueror Lord Vyce]] and [[EldritchAbomination the Entity]] in the sense that he falls back on the "[[WellIntentionedExtremist I did what I had to do, for the best]]" argument to justify all the crimes he committed, without really thinking about how much harm he actually caused and whether or not it outweighs the good he thinks he does.]]
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: He doesn't seem ''NEARLY'' as intimidating as Vyce or The Entity or even Mechakara, yet he is suprisingly effective at what he does. He succesfully manages to turn Linkara's friends against each other, steal the Magic Gun, and is shown to be a MUCH better fighter than Linkara, able to keep up with him even in the latter's [[SuperMode "Zeo!" form]]. In fact, the only reason he lost their first fight was due to Linkara's universe weakening him.
* OnlySaneMan: He plays this role in the ''2001: A Space Odyssey #1'' review, acting as the more grounded voice of reason in contrast to Linkara's JustCrazyEnough plans.
* SeenItAll: In regards to the Contest of Champions. While Linkara is in utter shock and disbelief that this year's prize is [[spoiler: the Infinity Gauntlet]], Jaeris shrugs it off without a second thought, since he's seen these kind of prizes given out every time the tournament is held.
* SouthernFriedGenius: What else do you call a southerner who made a flying spaceship house and an AI?
** OohMeAccentsSlipping: Although the actor has difficulty maintaining the accent.
* SoulPoweredEngine: [[spoiler: His magic gun was created by Jaeris binding the soul of his wife, as well as his own, to it. As long as both of them are alive, the gun will work and he'll have something to fight for.]]
* WalkingSpoiler
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: ArcVillain he may be, but once you learn his motives, it's hard not to feel sorry for the guy.
* TheWorfEffect: A retroactive one, but during his last Contest, he was defeated by the Bandit Chief, which helps set the latter up as a dangerous upcoming opponent.
* YouCantGoHomeAgain: [[spoiler: After his anchor is destroyed, he becomes assimilated into Linkara's dimension, which means his home dimension is now fatal to him. Linkara swears he'll find a way to fix this. [[DespairEventHorizon He doesn't]] [[DrowningMySorrows take it well]]. Eventually subverted; not only does he reunite with his wife who herself had been jumping around looking for him, but Linkara provides him with a replacement anchor.]]

[[folder: Harvey Finevoice]]
Linkara's other main alter ego, a lounge singer from TheFifties with a touch of TheMafia.

* UsefulNotes/{{Atheism}}: In TheMovie, he admitted to not believing in God due to [[spoiler: his son's death, though he does say he does believe something may be watching over him and his friends]].
* BelatedBackstory: Originally appearing from nowhere in the show, his origin story is finally told in the 2012 Christmas episodes.
* [[spoiler: BrainwashedAndCrazy: Becomes a loyal servant of the King of Worms for a short time.]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[spoiler: He once had a family, but his son Charlie died (how old and cause of death unspecified) and his wife left him shortly thereafter. He more or less shut down until being rescued by Linkara during the TrainingMontage of ''ComicBook/AmazonsAttack'']].
* ADayInTheLimelight: When Linkara was interdimensionally abducted, he guest-hosted the show and reviewed ''Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter''.
** In the December 2012 reviews, he gets another one with it being Christmas Carol themed.
* DeadpanSnarker: He gets off some pretty sharp zingers.
* DiscoDan: In a subtler way than 90's Kid, but still.
* ElvisHasLeftThePlanet: In one of the joke MultipleEndings to Linkara's ''Silent Hill'' review, Harvey is actually an alien from a planet with ''good'' comics. [[WordOfGod An interview]] has confirmed the two are in fact separate characters, and Earth!Harvey wants to do a duet with Alien!Harvey.
* TheHeart: During and after the Vyce Arc, Harvey became a lot more supportive of Linkara's TrueCompanions, encouraging them to keep getting up during their battle with the BigBad. Plus, when Linkara [[spoiler:starts naming his spaceship]], Harvey's tone implies that he thinks it should be "Vigilant", since that was the one chosen by his friends.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: [[spoiler: The Entity gets him after he recognizes the words in the Silent Hill book.]]
* HeroicBSOD: [[spoiler: After the Gunslinger is ousted from the apartment in ''Treehouse of Horror #2'' and everyone's perception is returned to normal, Harvey confesses that he really meant what he said--he really was so angry at Linkara over the Holokara incident that he was ready to kill him. This spurs him to put some distance between himself and the group for the time being with a concert tour.]]
* HiddenDepths: Apparently a big fan of Pokemon.
* HisNameIs: [[spoiler: After taking a look at the Silent Hill book he comes to a realization, but runs into the Entity before he can warn Linkara.]]
* InsistentTerminology: Consistently addresses both Linkara and Iron Liz as "kid." [[spoiler:There's a reason for this, as the 2012 "Christmas Carol" arc shows.]]
* MoreDakka: In the ''Power Rangers'' review, he attacks Mechakara with a tommy-gun.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler: The Movie reveals that he feels this way about running away from Mechakara when he first fought Linkara.]]
* NiceHat
* TheNicknamer: Rarely, if ever, calls the others by their actual name. Linkara and Liz are both "Kid", 90's Kid is "the idiot", Pollo is "the robot"....
* OlderSideKick
* OlderThanTheyLook: He's old enough to be Linkara's dad, [[spoiler:which he may think of himself as.]]
* ParentalSubstitute: [[spoiler: He believes himself to be one to Linkara and even accidentally occasionally refers to him as Charlie, his deceased son.]]
* ReplacementGoldfish: [[spoiler: He thinks of Linkara as his deceased son, Charlie. The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future help him get over it.]]

[[folder: Ninja Style Dancer]]
A ninja who likes to dance. Another Linkara character, based off the bizarre reference in ''Nightcat'' to the title character's backing dancers being described as "Ninja Style Dancers".

* AlmostDeadGuy: [[spoiler: In the Entity arc.]]
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: He is a ninja who likes to dance.
* InformedAttribute: As with many examples of TheVoiceless, other characters (in this case Harvey Finevoice) nonetheless claims he's annoyingly talkative.
** According to Iron Liz, he once beat Harvey in Karaoke, so it's possible he has an even better voice than the professional lounge singer.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Has made three appearances thus far accompanied by The Vengaboys' "We Like to Party"
* McNinja: Presumably.
* SilentSnarker: He communicates via large text cards and isnít shy about delivering the zingers, like, "Oh joy. He's back to normal."
* TheVoiceless: [[spoiler: Except in Linkara's hallucinations brought on by the powers of Silent Hill.]]

[[folder: Pollo]]
Pronounced "Poyo", he's Linkara's RobotBuddy and manager. He took over the show while trying to get Linkara back during the "Linkara Lost" arc. He also hates famed comics writer Creator/GarthEnnis and the AIIsACrapshoot assumption about robots.

* AIIsACrapshoot: Subverted. As stated above, he ''hates'' this trope, and even had Linkara do the ''Strange Adventures'' review to prove his point.
** His hatred of it is partially motivated by the fact that [[spoiler: his AU counterpart is Mechakara, and he thinks Linkara sees him as a potential threat]].
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler: He returns from his heroic sacrifice below by transferring into Linkara's Tom Servo puppet and stays there while he waits for Linkara to make him a new body.]]
* BilingualBonus: His name in Spanish means "[[WesternAnimation/RobotChicken chicken]]".
** [[spoiler: According to the DVD, this is because Liz thought he looked like a chicken, and Linkara used mostly imported parts to build him]]
* BreakoutCharacter: Was originally just a robot puppet for Linkara's ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000'' fanmovie, then a one-off gag for the ''ComicBook/AmazonsAttack'' review, but Linkara liked him enough for him to become a recurring character.
* BrilliantButLazy: As shown by his fights with Linksano and Mechakara, he can be pretty crafty when he wants and is quite efficient as the show's manager... But also tries to avoid work as much as robotly possible.
-->'''Linkara:''' What do I pay you for again?!?
** CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: As the two previously mentioned fights and the one with Lord Vyce show, he can kick ass when the need rises.
* DeadpanSnarker: So very much.
* DropInCharacter: Began as this, but now appears more regularly and is important to the plot.
* HeroicBSOD: His first appearance. Even he, a ''robot'', can't handle the awfulness of ''Amazons Attack''.
-->'''Linkara:''' Okay, folks, this is my robot, Pollo. He's going to finish the review for me, because really, I can't take this anymore.\\

* HiveMind: He is capable of controlling each of his bodies simultaneously.
* MissedTheCall: [[spoiler:Variation - according to the flashback in the ''ComicBook/CaptainFlash'' review on the DVD, he was specifically built to host the show. But his voice wouldn't work, so Linkara decided to host it himself.]]
* RobotBuddy: Natch.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Pollo is some times shown to wear a Scarf?
* {{Sidekick}}: For Linkara.
* SitcomArchNemesis: Sierra, the Gunslinger's AI. Any scene with the two of them looks like it escaped from Series/RedDwarf or [[Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000 MST3K]].
** SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: The in-universe reason for his change of voice starting in the ROMTROSPECTIVE is that he's jealous of Sierra's snarky British voice, although he's quick to deny he is. Linkara doesn't buy it.
* SyntheticVoiceActor: Until the ROMTROSPECTIVE, when he finally gains a human voice.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Is genuinely friendly with Linkara and has saved his life more than once...and when he does, he takes every opportunity to screw Linkara over with embarrassing return favors.
* TheVoiceless: On the DVD, due to copyright reasons involving his voice software. This is very likely the reason Lewis decided to finally stop using the software and switch to an actual person's voice starting from ''ROMTROSPECTIVE: ROM The Space Knight #1-46'', in time for the upcoming movie.
** TheOtherDarrin: As of said review, he is now voiced by Alex "WebVideo/DrCrafty" Tansley, Linkara's title card artist. Pollo tries out the voices of the Nostalgia Critic, Rap Critic, and Calluna before settling on the British voice.

[[folder: Sierra]]
The Gunslinger's English accented AI assistant. During the uneasy alliance between the Gunslinger and Linkara's crew he shares a mutual animosity with Pollo to an almost sitcom degree.

* AIIsACrapshoot: [[spoiler: Sierra once went haywire, forcing Jaeris to reprogram him with UndyingLoyalty]]. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, whatever Jaeris did wasn't enough to keep out the King of Worms.]]

* TheMeanBrit: He's gonna be the first one to call someone out on screwing up, giving what seems to be a false reassurance to his master or just appearing to be incompetent. Especially if that person is [[SitcomArchNemesis Pollo]].
* RedOniBlueOni: Blue to the Gunslinger's red. And also red to NIMUE's blue, ironically.
* SitcomArchNemesis: Pollo.
* UndyingLoyalty: To the Gunslinger, referring to him as "master", [[spoiler: as it turns out he was programmed with it after an incident in which Sierra went insane and nearly killed him]].

[[folder: Tom Servo]]
Yes, that [[Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000 Tom Servo]]. A puppet of the robot that Lewis' brother Graham gave him for Christmas shows up several times, including when Liz and Linkara are wishing us a Merry Christmas.

* TheCameo
* CanonImmigrant
* DropInCharacter: Somewhat. He shows up in the opening in a display.
** Mirrorverse Pollo uses the puppet as his body, while the normal Pollo body sits in the display case.
** Pollo later [[spoiler:took over the puppet to beat Lord Vyce, who had taken over his old body.]]
* RobotBuddy: A secondary one.
* TheVoiceless

[[folder: Eliza/The Walking Lizard]]
One of Linkara's childhood toys, brought to life by Dr. Linksano as a Christmas present.

* ALizardNamedLiz: Eliza, technically, but yeah.
* MustHaveCaffeine: Her only response to learning the metal pole sticking out of her back is a necessary part of her spine is to ask for coffee.
* NaiveNewcomer: As a fairly late addition to the cast, she's not as familiar with the other characters or their history, [[TheWatson which allows her to be used to catch the audience up]].
* NeutralNoLonger: Because she wasn't sure what side she should take, she [[BystanderSyndrome just stood and watched]] several Cybermat attacks and didn't warn anyone. As of the ''The Thing From Another World: Questionable Science'' review, she seems to have made up her mind.
* SamusIsAGirl: Linkara is quite surprised when she starts talking and confirms she's a woman.
* TheStoic: Speaks in a completely bored voice despite the bizarreness of her entire existence.

[[folder: Cable]]
The main character of the ''ComicBook/{{Cable}}'' series. He was angry at Linkara for making fun of his comic and threatened to kill him with a {{BFG}}. Linkara defeated him with a magnet and took his {{BFG}}. He was later murdered by Mechakara.

* {{BFG}}: He has one, which Linkara takes as a trophy.
* LargeHam: Naturally.
* NinetiesAntiHero: Oh yeah.
* ShouldersOfDoom: Only one shoulder pad.
* WeaksauceWeakness: As a cyborg, he can easily be defeated by a magnet.

[[folder: Countdown Monster]]
All of the issues of ''ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis'' brought to life by Mechakara. Linkara defeated it with a Dragon Dagger

* EldritchAbomination: An embodiment of one of the worst comics ever made.
* GigglingVillain: The only sound it makes is a shrill EvilLaugh.

[[folder: Doctor Insano]]
A recurring character in both ''WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment'' and ''Atop the Fourth Wall'', Dr. Insano is a mad scientist bent on world domination, and the former President of the United States. He's Linkara's original archenemy and the original owner of Neutro. Insano has a vendetta against Mechakara, whom he accidentally brought into this universe by meddling with hypertime, and who soon after forced him to get a haircut against his will. As Linkara's storyline has become more serious and elaborate, combined with the logistical difficulties of coordinating with someone in another state, the goofy mad scientist has played a much smaller part on ''Atop the Fourth Wall''. See the character sheets for ''Characters/TheSpoonyExperiment'', ''Characters/{{Kickassia}}'', and ''Characters/ToBoldlyFlee'' for tropes that apply to him in those works.

* ArchEnemy: To Linkara (at least in the earlier parts of the WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall story line.)
* BadassBoast: All the time, though he's usually instantly defeated afterward or otherwise interrupted. [[spoiler: Played straight in ''Star Wars 3D''.]]

* BewareTheSillyOnes: Compared to Lord Vyce or the Entity, Insano is pretty harmless... but he ''did'' torture Mechakara to death.
* CutLexLuthorACheck: TheMovie reveals that he sold all of the stuff he stole back from the crew in the end of ''WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee'' to the government. He says he would have done it earlier, he just thought it was so silly nobody would want it.
* DemotedToExtra: Originally Insano was Linkara's archenemy, but because it was hard to coordinate with Spoony to do frequent cameos, his appearances grew fewer and fewer, until his role was taken over by Doctor Linksano.
* DiminishingVillainThreat: Started off as a menace to global society, reduced to a whiny punk that Linkara bullies for information. [[spoiler: And then he TookALevelInBadass.]]
* DisproportionateRetribution: At the conclusion of the Mechakara arc, [[spoiler: he captures the crippled Mechakara and tortures him with a magnet. Why? The robot made him [[TraumaticHaircut cut his hair]].]]
* EnemyMine: Linkara quite frequently teams up with Insano to defeat worse villains.
* EvilLaugh: He is pretty famous for his diabolical laughter.
* FinalBoss: [[spoiler: Of the Gunslinger arc.]]
* GigglingVillain
* HesBack:
** At the end of Linkara's ''Marvel Team Up's 74'', it's implied that [[spoiler:''he's'' suppressed all of Linkara's sorcery with, of all things, '''''[[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII an anti-magic field generator]]''''']].
** [[spoiler: HesBack with a vengeance. He manages to slip on board Comicron 1, steal Neutro, and arms himself with upgraded versions of the power gauntlets made by WebVideo/JesuOtaku.]]

Said episode ended with EyeAwaken on Mechakara, showing he was right on the money.

* SmallRoleBigImpact: Despite being one of the smallest-scope villains on the show, Insano's experiments in Hypertime literally ''cause'' every other greater threat to emerge.
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:Parodied.]] This was strongly implied at the end of Linkara's ''Marvel Team-Up'' #74 review, when it's indicated that [[spoiler:he may have just disabled all of Linkara's magic with [[BrickJoke his anti-magic field generators]]. * UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: His experiments in Hypertime are responsible for Mechakara's arrival in our dimension. [[FromBadToWorse And everything else went from there...]]
* WeCanRuleTogether: [[spoiler: To the Gunslinger, despite having no idea who he is and gaining nothing in return, seemingly just to spite Linkara. He's denied.]]
* TheWorfEffect: Him acting terrified of Mechakara in the "Countdown Part 2" review, a rare moment that isn't PlayedForLaughs with him, is one of the things done to show off the threat Mechakara is.

[[folder: Dolorem]]
A demon created from the rage of the young girl who was sacrificed to create the Magic Gun. Lord Vyce somehow sent Dolorem to trap Linkara in the Otherworld of ''Franchise/SilentHill'', subvert his mind, and make him think he was responsible for the girl's death, but just as Linkara was about to commit suicide the girl's spirit awoke inside the gun and snapped him out of it. Because the girl had since come to terms with her death, she didn't need Dolorem anymore, and Linkara was able to kill the demon.

* BandagedFace
* LiteralSplitPersonality
* MeaningfulName: It's Latin for "misery".
* MindRape: Attempts it on Linkara and very nearly succeeds.
* NoNameGiven: Dolorem's name isn't spoken in the episode, appearing only in the credits.
* TheVoiceless: She can't speak, instead communicating via {{Telepathy}}.

[[folder: The Entity [[spoiler: a.k.a Missingno.]]]]
A being from Lord Vyce's home universe, described as a "glitch" that threatens all reality.

* AdaptationalBadass: [[spoiler:In ''Pokémon'', Missingno is mildly creepy if you start applying FridgeHorror, somewhere between useful and annoying if you don't, and is nigh-universally pathetic in battle to the point of usually being incapable of victory. Now, he's a horror that makes Slenderman look friendly and harmless, and reduces entire worlds to nothingness. Also, WordOfGod says that in this case, all the other glitch Pokémon in existence are just ''different forms of this version of Missingno.'']].
* AffablyEvil: After Linkara [[spoiler:defeated Lord Vyce for it,]] The Entity was very appreciative and intentionally chose to leave him the last person alive on Earth as gratitude. It even chose to match wits with him, and allowed Linkara to review one final comic and ask as many questions as he liked. Linkara interpreted those last few things as [[FauxAffablyEvil The Entity choosing to toy with him and break his spirit]], but it was sincere nonetheless.
* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler: Linkara explains that the Entity's goal of absorbing everything in existence, including existence itself, would ultimately lead to this.]]
* AndThenWhat: [[spoiler:How Linkara manages to defeat Missingno. * ArcVillain: Becomes the main threat of its own arc after [[spoiler:Vyce was defeated and exiled. It then returns in the Sleepwalker arc.]]

* BetaBaddie: [[spoiler: To absorb all and become all was Missingno.'s way of truly become meaningful, to become something instead of the nothing that it is. * NearVillainVictory: [[spoiler: It absorbs all humanity and has Linkara at its mercy before he hits it with a BreakingSpeech.]]
* NighInvulnerable: It's perhaps the only villain in Linkara's Rogue's Gallery that anyone has failed to develop any kind of weapon against or true countermeasure for. Every single attempt to fight it off have been met with failure.
* NoOntologicalInertia: [[spoiler:When it kills itself, everyone is restored to normal. Linksano suggests that it might have been an act of generosity or else just an effect of its death.]]
* NothingIsScarier: Easily the most mysterious villain so far, and all the scarier for it. Even with Mechakara's backstory and motivations being unknown until the end of his story arc, we could latch on to the fact that he was a robot duplicate of Linkara. Here, we've got nothing to go on but some extremely esoteric phrases to know anything about what the Entity even is. [[spoiler: Until the end, that is.]]
* NotQuiteDead: [[spoiler: A piece of himself survived by inhabiting Likara's body and mind in the Sleepwalker arc, while the greater whole committed suicide. An AU counterpart of Iron Liz, Judas Liz was recruited by Lord Vyce. She and Mechakara attack Linkara but she disappears after [[spoiler:a morphed]] Linkara holds a gun to her head.

According to the [[TomeOfEldritchLore Absent Grimoire]], this constant, overpowering fear has twisted said face, turning it into a personification of fear itself and being unable to be mistaken for anything else by any creature that knows fear. Above all else, the King [[NightmareFetishist covets fear]], and hopes one day to master its fear and heal its face, sending out its [[MechaMooks clockwork servants]] to gather information on it.

* AmbitionIsEvil: Has ambitions of ruling other Outer Gods, and is very much shown be evil.
* ArcVillain: Of the Court of Worms arc.
* BigBadWannabe: [[spoiler: In the grand scheme of the series. It wants to above beyond being a lesser relative of the Entity, and ultimately dies from its desire to control fear because it comes across The Entity inside Linkara.]]
* BrownNote: Inverted-from the sound of things, the face of fear is a ''weakness'', since everyone who knows fear can immediately tell what the King is.
** Played straight, in that [[spoiler:IT suffers finding a BrownNote involving the Plot Hole while probing Linkara's mind. The experience scares it to death.]]
* TheCracker: Is stated to be able to possess machinery, to the extent of having "clockwork servants". Linkara later finds out its controlling his cybermats this way.
** [[spoiler: It also takes over Sierra like this.]]
* DeathByIrony: [[spoiler:The King of Worms is an EldritchAbomination which wishes to use fear to control all of existence. In the end, it dies of fear itself.]]
* EldritchAbomination: A fairly young and weak one, but still -- that ''face'' sounds horrifying.
** [[spoiler: The camera can't hold a stable image when it appears. The image keeps sputtering and losing focus.]]
* EvilSoundsRaspy: It has a strange rasping voice and an odd, impersonal manner of speech.
* JerkassGods: Much worse than The Entity. It is actively malicious in its actions. The Absent Grimoire states it drove an entire planet insane, causing the inhabitants to kill each other, then [[BlessedWithSuck made the last inhabitant sane]], driving them to suicide. It also states that after it gets what it wants from Linkara, it intends to spread fear and torture his planet.
* MalevolentMaskedMen: [[spoiler: Not only does it wear a mask itself, within the Court of Worms it can control even organic people by means of a "[[MindControlDevice platinum mask]]".]]
* NormalFishInATinyPond: It's considered a lesser being among an EldritchAbomination family, but it was still too powerful [[spoiler: for Linkara and his allies to kill even with weapons enhanced with technology meant to kill beings like it.]]
* NoSell: When Linkara and [[spoiler: all of the Pollo robots]] try to shoot it, the King simply freezes the shots in the air, then [[AttackReflector sends them back at the shooters]]. To make it worse, it isn't even necessary since [[spoiler: Linksano's autopsy]] confirms that ''[[spoiler: not one of the later shots that do hit it actually cause any damage]]''.
* RedHerring: [[spoiler: The King of Worms exists, though it is not what is interfering with Nimue as confirmed by Lewis. Instead, it's Lord Vyce.]]
** [[spoiler: Then after Vyce is defeated again, it uses a cybermat to infect Harvey when Harvey is home alone. Uh oh.]]
* RhymesOnADime: "One of these days we're going to face an enemy that ''doesn't'' [[LampshadeHanging like to exposit in rhyme]]."
* {{Twinmaker}}: [[spoiler:It quietly replaced Harvey and Dr. Linksano with loyal robots a ''long'' time ago]].
* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: Subverted. [[spoiler: Turns out that he actually DID attempt to attack and control Linkara when he had the chance. ''It didn't work,'' forcing him go the more complicated route to manipulate Linkara.]]
* UnwittingInstigatorofDoom: Its meddling [[spoiler:woke up the Entity which directly led to its death.]]

[[folder: Lord Vyce]]
A powerful MultiversalConqueror--[[ArcWords All that he sees, he conquers.]] And in his opinion, protects as well; he was a survivor of a universe destroyed by an EldritchAbomination known as "the Entity", but grew fed up with his warnings never being listened to and decided it would be better if he took command.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: While he has a humanoid shape, since Vyce is never seen outside of his suit and is only heard through his distorted voice, it is unclear how human he really is.
* AntiVillain: See WellIntentionedExtremist. Also takes the time to assure Linkara that the universe would be under his protection.
* BadassBoast: In reference to [[CoolStarship his ship]].
-->"The Entity mocked me, likened me to a would-be slayer of dragons. Well, then: I am Lord Vyce, and ''this'' is my sword!"
* BigBad: Of the Vyce arc. [[spoiler: As well as the "His Blue Soul" and "Ghost of the Machine" arcs. He's a strong contender for the show as a whole. ]]
* BigNo: [[spoiler: The last thing Vyce said as he entered the portal that destroyed him.]]
* BondVillainStupidity: [[spoiler: Has the chance to kill Linkara after taking over Comicron 1 in the "Ghost of the Machine" arc in any number of ways, but arrogantly decides that acting on a grudge is beneath him. This gives Linkara the chance to reboot Nimue.]]
* BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu: [[spoiler:His constant pursuit and attacks on the Entity actually managed to hurt it significantly, rendering it vulnerable.]]
* CassandraTruth: He tried to warn other worlds of the Entity before, but no-one listened (after all, who would believe that [[spoiler: a glitch from a Gameboy game has become an Outer God?]]) so he turned to the conquest route. [[spoiler:Ironically, it initially seemed that he fell on the opposite side of this trope later on, refusing to accept that Linkara managed to beat the Entity, though he ended up still on on the same side as before as he was ProperlyParanoid and had good reason not to believe so. Then he falls back on the receiving end of this more egregiously than ever when he refuses to believe the Entity's final death despite seeing it himself.]]
* CrazyPrepared: [[spoiler: Despite his arrogance, he prepared for the possibility of his defeat and set up multiple plans if he's defeated and isolated.]]
* CurbStompBattle: In what was likely a shout-out to Lord Zedd's devastating NoHoldsBarredBeatdown from ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'', Vyce gets fed up with indirect combat with Linkara and proceeds to ''completely wreck him'' before leaving when Linkara manages to inflict some damage to his armor.
** [[spoiler: He's on the receiving end in ''2001: A Space Odyssey #1'' once Nimue is fully functional. Turns out challenging a super-intelligent computer that can think much faster than the human mind while inside it, is a bad idea]].
* {{Determinator}}: [[spoiler:Has survived a beatdown by Linkara et. al, escaped from the dead universe he was imprisoned on in order to recapture his ship, and even after his new robot body is ejected into space in the Star Trek III episode he STILL manages to return by interfering with Nimue. This conqueror does not let up.]]
* DimensionLord: [[spoiler: Subverted. It turns out that when searching for The Entity he typically only conquered one or two planets before moving on, and [[ShroudedInMyth his reputation was exaggerated]]. Vyce allowed the myth to spread to discourage resistance to him.]]
* DoomedHometown: States that he saw his own planet consumed by The Entity.
* TheDreaded: Linksano summed it up that across the multiverse there are empires spanning from time unrecorded and {{Eldritch Abomination}}s that destroy entire universes, but Vyce is feared above all else. Jaeris states that what he knew about him was enough for him to stay away from him.
* EvilIsPetty: Gets provoked into a trap by Linkara doing a prolonged TheReasonYouSuckSpeech calling him a coward.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Constantly speaks in a deep, [[GutturalGrowler growling]] voice that only makes him all the more imposing and menacing.
* EvilVersusOblivion: [[spoiler: Part of the hints that it's not Mechakara in Pollo's new body, since he never attacks Earth with it.]]
* TheFaceless: We never see him take his helmet off.
* FiveBadBand: He appears to be forming a nascent group with himself as the BigBad, Mechakara as TheDragon, Doctor Linksano as the EvilGenius, The Vohrsoth as TheBrute and Judas Liz as TheDarkChick.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: Lord Vyce has pursued the Entity across many dimensions, but doesn't seem to realize that both of them have the ultimate goal of annihilation and subjugation. [[spoiler: This becomes more apparent after Vyce turns himself into living data...not unlike the Entity itself. Motive-wise, by the end of the latest story arc, he's arguably become WORSE than the Entity; the latter's actions were done out of what amounts to what it saw as natural, whereas Vyce willingly destroyed and subjugated, justifying himself along the way]].
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:When on the destroyed wreck of his old ship he's surprisingly sentimental.]]
* HijackedByGanon: [[spoiler: Twice so far. First when appeared in Pollo's body after everyone assumed that it was Mechakara, though as Vyce pointed out, that conclusion was made based entirely on assumptions Linkara made, and Nimue's descent into insanity turned out to be a result of his meddling.]]
* HumiliationConga: [[spoiler: He ends up being played for a sucker to get him away from his ship and powerless, suffering the combined force of every weapon in Linkara's arsenal, and marooned in a barren universe. And he only gets out of that by transferring into a half-built body for Pollo.]]
** [[spoiler: Happens AGAIN at the end of the Sleepwalker Arc, when, when tricked into going alone into Comicron-2 and blowing out its engines in an attempt to prevent what he believes is the still-living Entity from escaping as he steers the ship into his Entity-eating singularity...only for what he, in his endless paranoia, believed was the Entity to be Holokara. Unable to teleport to safety, he can only plead impotently for Linkara to save him.]]
* InspiredBy [=/=] RequiredSpinoffCrossover: When viewed in parallel with Linkara's ongoing "History of Power Rangers" series, it's clear that the style of Lord Vyce (in particular his name and his use of a group of Putty-like mooks, the Shades) was inspired by Power Rangers villains, predominantly Lord Zedd.
* ImplacableMan: He beats Pyramid Head in one hit. ''Pyramid Head''.
* InsistentTerminology: He always refers to Linkara as "champion", that is, the champion of his universe, and to NIMUE as "the computer" even when actually talking to her.
* TheJuggernaut: While Vyce takes Linkara off guard when his Zeonizer is recharging, it's made very clear that even with it, Linkara couldn't have stopped him. Linkara considered defeating him [[spoiler: while he was receiving power from his ship]] impossible.
* JokerImmunity: [[spoiler: Not as blatant as Mechakara since Linkara has never been able to kill him, but so far he's PutOnABus twice and came back. So don't expect him to stay gone unless he's actually dead.]]
** [[spoiler:Averted by the end of the Sleepwalker arc when Vyce enters a portal that was meant to destabilize and kill the Entity, which did so to his own data form.]]
* LargeHam: Especially when he's mad.
* KnightOfCerebus: After Mechakara's defeat, things went back to being silly when Dr. Linksano became the main villain. Then Lord Vyce came alongÖ
* KnightTemplar: Vyce makes it a point he only conquers worlds for "the greater good", while everyone else points out it's just to feed his ego. He believes that his quest to destroy the Entity justifies all the conquest and destruction, while everyone else points to them as proof that he's evil and simply deluded himself into thinking he's good.
* MagiTek: Makes heavy use. All of his technology has magic as one of its main power sources.
* MindRape: [[spoiler: He downloaded himself piece by piece into Nimue's hardware and corrupted important files, causing her to lose her mind. He was also responsible for summoning the Dolorem that nearly mind raped Linkara.]]
* {{Mooks}}: The Shades
* MotiveDecay: [[spoiler: Downplayed. At first he seems determined to stop the Entity, but when he reappears, he is more concerned with [[ItsAllAboutMe being recognized for his exploits]] then actually stopping the Entity, but is still obsessed with its destruction for the good of the world. As implied by Linkara after he was beat for the first time, his massive ego was always a part of his character, but it wasn't expounded on before their second encounter. Given that Lewis himself has criticized this sort of thing in several of the comics he's reviewed, it makes sense that he'd try to avoid it here. Ultimately subverted; his insistence that the Entity is still around turns out to be ''completely right''. Then double-subverted when, despite seeing the actual end of the Entity via self-destruction himself, he still refuses to believe it]].
* MrExposition: Regarding the Entity's threat, and whenever [[TheBusCameBack he makes a return]], he takes time to gloat about how he did it.
* MultiversalConqueror: Well, one world per universe.
* NecessarilyEvil: He conquers universes so he can protect them from something even worse than him.
* NoSell: EVERYTHING. [[spoiler: While in his original body and still receiving power from his ship]] nothing hurts him. The magic gun, the {{BFG}}, even when supercharged by a [[Series/DoctorWho Sonic Screwdriver]], Pyramid Head's {{BFS}}, Liz's swords, two Sonic Screwdrivers getting used on his suit, the only thing that did a slight amount of damage to him was one of his own weapons Linkara grabbed and used on him, and even then the effect of causing him to panic out of fear of a breach in his suit was more notable than any actual damage.
* PutOnABus / TheBusCameBack: How his defeats occur. His suit made impossible to kill even when he was cut off from his ship's power supply, so Linkara stranded him a universe where he was cut off from his ship and his power would eventually run out. He returned by turning himself into data and possessing Pollo's body. His second defeat had him stranded at the end of the solar system with no apparent chance of return, but he still managed to hack himself in Comicron 1's computer. After his defeat from Nimue, [[spoiler:VillainExitStageLeft he managed to escape inside the body of a shade, but this time Linkara knows that he'll be back.]]
* {{Pride}}: Poking at his ego is a fast way to get under his skin. [[spoiler: When he reappears after his exile, he refuses to believe that Linkara killed the Entity, believing that nobody but him could do that. Unfortunately, it turns out he wasn't wrong about it still being alive.]]
* ProperlyParanoid: [[spoiler: It turns out that he was right about the Entity still being out there, though he doesn't seem to figure out ''how'' it survived its apparent death until the "Machinations of Worms" arc. However, he loses the "properly" part when he refuses to believe that the Entity self-destructed for good, even as he sees it for himself.]]
* ShroudedInMyth: Him conquering entire universes was an exaggeration of his conquests, which he allowed to spread since he figured that being more feared would mean his would be victims would offer less resistance.
* SmugSnake: While he's a legitimate threat and a borderline PhysicalGod, Vyce is nowhere ''near'' as strong as he ''thinks'' he is, believing himself to be a threat to beings like the Entity or the King Of Worms, which are far out of his league, and constantly underestimating his enemies, especially Linkara and his friends; he also insists that the Entity cannot possibly die by anyone's hand but his own. [[spoiler: Ultimately downplayed; while he himself admits that he is prideful, he's still smart enough to learn from his mistakes, and he wasn't wrong about the Entity still being alive, though quickly subverted when even seeing the Entity kill itself for real just makes him go nuts in sheer paranoia]].
* StrongAsTheyNeedToBe: [[spoiler: In his original body. His power varies depending on the laws of universe he's in, some he's a PhysicalGod, and others he's powerless and needs to rely on his suit and weapons, and others he just plain can't enter them.]]
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler: After witnessing the Entity kill itself again, he ''still'' believes it's alive, and tries to use a dimensional portal to destroy the Earth, if not ''the entire universe'', in order to finish the Entity for good.]]
* VillainHasAPoint: It turns out he was right about one thing; The Entity was every bit the menace he claimed it was.
** [[spoiler: In the "His Blue Soul" arc points out that it was Linkara own mistake wrongfully assuming he was Mechakara, and Vyce never deceived him at any point.]]
* VillainsNeverLie: [[spoiler: So far he hasn't, at least not in a direct conversation. Linkara initially assumed he made up the Entity as an excuse for his conquests, and boy was he wrong. Vyce points out that he never told them he was Mechakara when he took over Pollo's body, but Vyce points out that he never did that; Linkara and company assumed that on their own.]]
* VirtualGhost: [[spoiler: He becomes one to escape from his exile in the dead universe. The fact that he is now exactly the same sort of [[StealthPun entity]] as Missngno. is an irony not lost on him.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: His whole motive is to destroy the EldritchAbomination known as the Entity before it consumes the whole multiverse, but he's willing to do some incredibly cruel and selfish things to accomplish that.
* XanatosGambit:
** His going along with Mechakara's plot to have the powers of ''Franchise/SilentHill'' mentally destroy Linkara had two purposes: mentally destroy Linkara and/or see what Linkara and his weapon were capable of.
** Sending Mechakara down for a rematch: If Mechakara won, Linkara would be dead and Vyce could procede with conquering his world. If Mechakara lost, which is how it ended up, Linkara would still be weakened for the battle and make things easier for Vyce on limited resources.
* YouAreWhatYouHate: Vyce started out as a WellIntentionedExtremist of sorts (although one with [[{{Pride}} an ego]]) who started conquering worlds to protect them from the Entity when others failed to heed his warnings. However, his continued conquests made him more and more evil [[spoiler: and, after losing to Linkara, he transformed himself into living data much like his foe. Linkara comes to believe that the message from the future, which warns him that "a piece of the world is still missing", is not referring to the Entity but rather to Vyce, whose new form will eventually turn him into the new Entity. Turns out he's wrong; the Entity has survived by hiding inside Linkara.]]

[[folder: Mechakara]]
An evil android lookalike of Linkara harboring nefarious plans. Actually the AlternateUniverse doppelganger of Linkara's RobotBuddy Pollo, Mechakara started to believe he was a slave, so he killed his version of Linkara and grafted his skin onto his robotic body. Mechakara traveled to our world when Doctor Insano breached dimensions with his Hypertime device. Mechakara has since joined forces with other villains, including Lord Vyce and the Executor from ''WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee''. [[spoiler:He was destroyed along with the Executor's space station, but has come back from the dead more than once before... He returns in Atop the Fourth Wall: TheMovie. He is again destroyed but could return...]]

* ArtificialHuman: He modeled his appearance after Linkara to infiltrate an AlternateUniverse so he could find out more about magic in his quest to KillAllHumans.
* ArcVillain: Of the first story arc.
* BadBoss: [[spoiler: When he returns in the movie having turned the crew of the Caelestis into his cyborg slaves, he doesn't hesitate to sacrifice their LifeForce to repower Malachite's Hand. The only thing keeping him from using all of them is that their life force wouldn't be enough.]]
* BigBad: [[spoiler: Of TheMovie.]]
* BackFromTheDead: Thanks to Lord Vyce.
** Apparently again, via body-jumping into Pollo's new body from his old hand, [[spoiler: but it turns out to be subverted when it's revealed that it's ''Lord Vyce'' who possessed the Pollo body via the hand, not Mechakara]].
** [[WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee This time for real....]]
** [[spoiler: And yet again, as of TheMovie. He even lampshades the fact that he always finds some way to survive.]]
* BreakoutVillain: Originally only created because Linkara wanted a robot version of himself for the end of Franchise/{{Superman}} [[{{Crossover}} vs.]] The {{Franchise/Terminator}}. He decided to bring him back, even though at first he had ''no idea'' what to do with him. Eventually, this trope was even lampshaded.
--> "I was a popular character and villain; seeing me again should drive up the viewers."
** He's also the only member of Linkara's rogues gallery to feature outside his show (unless you count Insano).
* CallAHumanAMeatbag: He does this a lot.
* TheChessmaster: He didn't lay a finger on Linkara, his plots more driven at driving him insane, and only attacked him when all those plans failed.
* TheComicallySerious: While he's ''not'' PlayedForLaughs in WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee any more than in his other appearances, his dark behavior puts him in sharp contrast with his CoDragons, the far more comical [[WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic Zod]] and [[WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment Turrell]].
* ComplexityAddiction:
** Somewhat acknowledged in-universe. [[spoiler: He came to our universe to find the magic gun and adapt to it so he could kill the magic wielding humans in his own universe, but also planned to kill Linkara. However, rather than simply doing that he decided that since he didn't much satisfaction from killing his universe's Linkara, he decided to torture and kill ours. He was still at it under Vyce, choosing to try and drive Linkara to suicide. In his next appearance, he'd apparently learned his lesson, showing up to kill Linkara directly.]]
** [[spoiler:By the time of his appearance in TheMovie Mechakara's finally given up on trying to kill Linkara with complicated schemes and resolves to either blow him up with his spaceship or killing him face to face. It doesn't end any better for him then the last time he tried to kill Linkara.]]
* CurbStompBattle: His first fight with Linkara. He won.
** Does it again in their rematch, stopping everything that happened to him last time... [[spoiler:Then promptly ends up on the receving end of one courtesy of White Zeo Linkara.]]
* DeathByIrony: The exact reason Lord Vyce gave him his flesh appearance instead of rebuilding him as wholly robotic: he wants this universe's champion to be killed by his own image.
** [[spoiler: He was finished off by Neutro, a human piloted mecha.]]
* DemotedToDragon: Became this for Lord Vyce after he was rebuilt the first time. In rare example of the trope, he became more of a threat due to being upgraded, reducing the method he was defeated the first time to a WorfBarrage.
* DisproportionateRetribution: The only reason he [[spoiler:murdered his universe's version of Linkara and skinned him so he could use magical devices and started a RobotWar to KillAllHumans]]...was because he thought Linkara's voice was annoying and he wanted him to shut up.
* EnergyBeing: [[spoiler: Appears to have become one thanks to the magic coin, having remained alive inside his hand until he could transfer to a new body, leaving a trace similar to that of the Entity, but see Red Herring bellow.]]
** It should be noted, however, that Linkara has said that Mechakara's [[spoiler: appearance in the WebVideo/SuburbanKnights [[TheStinger stinger]] has to do with this idea actually being correct.]]
* EvilCounterpart: [[spoiler:...but actually Pollo's!]]
** Works as [[spoiler:Linkara's]] too, since they look the same and are both excellent strategists.
* EvilLaugh: Magnificent, Mister Lovhaug.
* EvilerThanThou: Shortly after his arrival, Mechakara scares off Linkara's previous archnemesis, Doctor Insano. [[AndThatsTerrible And forced him to get a haircut, apparently]]. [[spoiler:But Insano gets the last laugh when, after Linkara defeats Mechakara, he teleports the robot to his lab for revenge.]]
* EyeAwaken: The latest view of Insano's lab has a close-up of Mechakara's cybernetic eye. Which proceeds to flash on...
** In the ''Power Rangers Zeo'' review, after Linkara sets Mechakara's hand on the bookshelf, it wiggles its fingers ominously.
** [[spoiler: At the end of TheMovie, red smoke can be seen emanating from Mechakara's blown off hand, leaving the possibility for his return up in the air.]]
* FantasticRacism: He despises humans and all organic lifeforms, calling them "meatbags".
* {{Gaslighting}}: [[spoiler: Seems like his plan for ''Dead/Alive'', using Linkara's already deteriorating mental state to torture him and try to convince him to kill Pollo in order to drive him over the edge. But the real plan was just for him to drive him insane using the unholy beast the girl from the introductions unleashed. He didn't count on the gun (i.e. the girl's life force) helping Linkara.]]
* {{Irony}}: Mechakara originally came to this universe to, aside from murder Linkara, understand the intracies of magic so that he could eventually destroy it on his own universe. [[spoiler: Yet Mechakara's life has been saved twice because of magic (once with the Magic Coin that he used during his second fight with Linkara and the second time with Malachite's Hand.]]
* {{Jerkass}}: Even though later villains were more dangerous than him, so far none have been as evil as him. He killed his universe's Linkara just because he was annoyed at hearing him review comics, and wants to wipe out all organic life simply because he hates it. [[spoiler: The ''Silent Hill Dead/Alive'' reviews show how depraved he really is when his plan to kill Linkara consists of tricking him into thinking that he was the man responsible for the murder of Margaret.]]
* JokerImmunity: Has survived being torn apart twice now.
* KillAllHumans: His ultimate goal.
** OmnicidalManiac: He plans to go further than that and kill all organic life in every universe.
* KillerRobot: A robot who wants to KillAllHumans.
* KnightOfCerebus: The original. While prior threats were played for laughs or LaughablyEvil, Mechakara was the first villain on Atop The Fourth Wall(and Channel Awesome itself) to be have nothing comedic about him, and has remained as such in all his appearances. This especially notable in "To Boldly Flee" where the other villains have an element of comedy, [[WordOfGod while Lewis insisted he remain serious]].
* ManipulativeBastard: Every plan he had was to break Linkara psychologically. Though it failed and he eventually had to resort to physical violence, it's still his MO and he appears to have figured out the best way to do it.
* MightyGlacier: [[spoiler: When upgrades himself for the climax of the movie, he's much slower, but is packing an arm cannon his AdaptiveAbility made hurting him next to impossible.]]
* NearVillainVictory: [[spoiler:His plan to kill Linkara "Silent Hill Dead Alive" review, his plan to trick into thinking he killed Margret worked, and Linkara tried to kill himself, but was stopped by Margret herself refusing to kill him and snapping him out of it.]]
* NotMeThisTime: Everyone thinks he broke the Continuity Alarm, but he admits he didn't do it and doesn't know who did. In reality, Linksano was the culprit.
* TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou: Before he revealed himself to Linkara, he killed anyone who could pose a threat to him, because Linkara was his and his alone.
* RedRightHand: More like "(comically small) skeletal robotic right hand". Or maybe not, given his original size.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: When Linkara first meets him face-to-face, Mechakara twists a knob on his neck, turning his eyes red as he breaks out into a mechanically distorted EvilLaugh.
* RedHerring: [[spoiler:Appeared to be the BigBad BackFromTheDead of the "His Blue Soul" arc, but in reality, it was Lord Vyce.]]
* RobotMe: He's a robot whose appearance is modeled after Linkara. [[spoiler:Accept it turns out he's really an alternate universe version of Pollo.]]
* RoboticPsychopath: He's a sadistic and psychotic robot who wants to KillAllHumans.
* {{Sadist}}: He could've killed Linkara right away like he did to his own version of Linkara. However he'd prefer to psychologically torture and kill Linkara slowly, since he didn't get satisfaction from the quick death of his own.
* ShoutOut: To Franchise/TheTerminator, being a psychopathic robot disguised with human skin. He also appears in TheStinger of the Superman vs Terminator review.
* SmugSnake: He's extremely arrogant and condescending to Linkara (and all other organic life, for that matter), constantly boasting of his own superiority and Linkara's inferiority, even though his plans consistently fail and he keeps getting his ass kicked. [[spoiler: This hits its apex in TheMovie, where he won't shut up about machine life being inherently superior to organic life and claims that Linkara didn't actually win any of their prior confrontations, even though he ''did'' by any reasonable standard, and winds up getting his flesh disguise burned away and his head knocked off by Linkara after one hateful word too many.]]
* SuperStrength: Since he's a robot, he's far stronger than a human.
* SuperVillain: He was the first one in the series to be incorporated into a serious story arc.
* ThisCannotBe: [[spoiler: His reaction to seeing his plan to trick Linkara into killing himself, after seeing it nearly succeed, and neither he nor Lord Vyce seemed to understand why the plan failed.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: Granted, he was already badass, but he got even stronger in his second fight.
* TurnedAgainstTheirMasters: Both generally, in that he comes from a universe where humans are in a [[RobotWar war with machines]], and specifically, as he [[spoiler: is an alternate version of Pollo who killed alternate-Linkara]].

[[folder: Pyramid Head]]
The creature from Franchise/SilentHill. Tried to kill Linkara while he was stuck in the netherworld, but Linkara just trapped it in a [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} Pokeball]]. Killed by Lord Vyce. [[spoiler:Later, Whately appears with two of them and Linkara captures another before defeating him.]]

* {{BFS}}
* CurbStompBattle: On the receiving end of one from Lord Vyce.
* {{Mons}}: Parodied. [[spoiler:Twice.]]

[[folder: The Vohrsoth]]
A race of evil aliens from ''VideoGame/StarTrekEliteForce''. After the ending of the game, Lieutenant Munroe continued fighting against them and successfully destroyed most of their bases, until he came to the last one and found it ruled by a "boss" Vohrsoth that overwhelmed him. The aliens were experimenting with interdimensional travel to "our" universe, and Munroe was able to escape here. The Vohrsoth leader followed, but Linkara and Munroe were able to defeat it together. Munroe informed Linkara that the Vohrsoth were engineered by none other than Lord Vyce. And worse, when Munroe and the Vohrsoth beamed to our universe, a worse threat followed behind them--the Entity.

[[folder: Whately]]
The ineffectual villain behind the ''Comicbook/SilentHill'' comics. He turns out to be [[spoiler:a follower of the Entity and has been using the aforementioned comics to try and drive Linkara mad to the point of becoming his {{Cult}}'s prophet... and also the person behind the sacrifice of Margaret to create the Magic Gun.]] Played by Loren Lovhaug.

* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler: He briefly comes back to life during the 400th episode when the boundaries between life and death are torn down. He really doesn't use his time wisely however, as he just forms a rock band and kidnaps Pollo in a poorly thought out plan to kill Linkara. Whately is shot by Pollo and returns to the land of the dead when Linkara finishes his review.]]
* BigBadWannabe: He tries to come across as a legitimate threat when it's painfully clear that he... just isn't.
* ButForMeItWasTuesday: Pretty much implied.
--> Linkara: "Do you remember the name of [[spoiler:that girl that your cult turned into (the magic gun)]]?"
--> Whately (Confused): "No...?"
* {{Cult}}: He's the leader of one.
* TheDragon: Subverted. He [[InformedAttribute considers himself to be this]]...

* TheManBehindTheMan: Parodied. [[spoiler:He's the one behind the various ''Comicbook/SilentHill'' comics and the events connected to them, but he's less of a MagnificentBastard and more of a raging loon.]]
* TheManBehindTheMonsters: [[spoiler:Inverted, as it turns out that the Entity is his master.]]
* MindRape: Attempted. [[spoiler:The ''Comicbook/SilentHill'' comics were intended to [[BrainwashedAndCrazy turn Linkara to their cause by driving him insane]].]]
* MoralEventHorizon: Is considered to have crossed it in-universe by [[spoiler:the girl who was turned into the magic gun]].
* ShoutOut: His name is ''Comicbook/SilentHill'' comics writer Scott Ciencin's tribute to Wilbur Whateley from Creator/HPLovecraft's ''Literature/TheDunwichHorror''. On ''[=AT4W=]'', though, his name is pronounced "wut-ley" rather than "wait-ley" because of how [[FlatWhat WUT]]-inducing he is.

!! Mirror Universe
[[folder: Mirrorkara]]
An alternate version of Linkara, who began reviewing comic books in hopes that they could help him take over the world. He also controls a spaceship, and without the interferance of his world's Doctor Insano, he would have taken over the Mirror Universe in a matter of days.

* BadBoss: He's petty and cruel to his subordinates.
* BeardOfEvil: Resembles that of [[Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries Mirror Spock]]...except that, as Linkara notes in their showdown during the 300th episode, it's ''drawn'' on.
* BigBad: In the Mirror Universe, at least.
* CartoonishSupervillainy: He lives and breathes this trope.
* EvilIsHammy: He is an evil version of Linkara, but adds extra hamminess for the sake of being evil.
* EvilVersusEvil: Presumably. While the opening credits have changed, it still shows clips of Captain Linkara defeating the same villains as "our" Linkara. Then again, there is no indication that these versions are still villainous in the Mirror Universe...
** [[FridgeLogic But aren't most of Linkara's foes from alternate universes themselves? Are there mirrors of those universes as well?]] [[WildMassGuessing Were they conquered by Vyce[=/=]Mirror Vyce?]]
* GoodColorsEvilColors: Has pins of the three [[Franchise/GreenLantern Lantern Corps]] generally considered "evil": red (anger), orange (greed), and yellow (fear).
* NotSoDifferent: Lampshaded by Iron Liz (Linkara himself, however, doesn't see it).
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Despite being StupidEvil, the fact that he controls Comicron 1 means that this Linkara is ''still'' a legitimate threat, as well as showing that even ''HE'' was able to defeat a MultiversalConqueror like Vyce. In fact, had it not been for a freak accident that allowed the main Liz to enter the Mirrorverse and give Good!Insano the password onto his ship, Mirrorkara would have WON!
* TakeOverTheWorld: [[MemeticMutation Of course!]]

[[folder: Doctor Insano]]
An alternate version of Dr. Insano (though still played by Lewis Lovhaug) who is just and heroic, calling himself "the Champion of Science". Iron Liz convinces him and mirror-Pollo to take control of Mirror Comicron-1 from Captain Linkara in order to prevent him from taking over the world.

* BadassBaritone: His voice is deeper than either the regular Dr. Insano's or Dr. Linksano's, and he's competent enough to take down Mirrorkara in a firefight.
* BigGood: In the Mirror Universe, at least.
* BrilliantButLazy: When Liz suggests he take over Comicron-1 from Mirrorkara/Captain Linkara, he briefly quips that sometimes it's easier just to stun him.
* ForScience: Just like the Insano of our universe, his methods can best be described as "science".
* GoodCostumeSwitch: He wears an all-white version of Dr. Insano's outfit and even has a lighter goatee than Mirrorkara's.
* LargeHam: He wouldn't be an Insano without it.
* ManInWhite: While the white labcoat is no different, he also sports white scrubs, shiny white goggles and white... socks.
* ScienceHero: Duh.

[[folder: Liz]]
An alternate version of Iron Liz. Not much is known about her except for the fact that she thinks 4th Edition ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' is the best version of the game ever made.

* OutOfCharacterAlert: Her above statement about the 4th Edition.
-->'''Linkara:''' Clearly, some kind of transposition has taken place!

[[folder: Pollo]]
An alternate version of Pollo. Shares identical personalities with the Pollo of our universe, except has the body of [[Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000 Tom Servo]].

* {{Foreshadowing}}: A neat hint that [[spoiler: the primary universe's Pollo would also end up inhabiting Tom Servo's body]]. Also, at first glance, it looks like Pollo's normal body is in the glass case where Tom Servo is in the primary universe, as a simple inversion gag, but [[spoiler: a closer look shows this is the 'Pollo v1.1' model that will soon appear in the primary universe and be hijacked by Mechakara and Lord Vyce]].

[[folder: Magic Gun/Mirror Margaret]]
The counterpart to the normal Linkara's Magic Gun and the soul contained within. She has pretty much the same backstory, with the caveat she was willingly placed in the gun and possesses a far more bloodthirsty personality.

* ArtifactOfDoom: Played straight, in contrast to the normal universe's Magic Gun.
* TheDragon: To Captain Linkara.
* EvilCostumeSwitch: Her human avatar appears as a greenish skinned version of the normal Margaret wearing a black dress and sunglasses.
* TheStarscream / UngratefulBastard: She ''still'' blew up the cult who made her, even though by all appearances she's happy as she is.

[[folder: Aplos the Wizard/Steven]]
A wizard who has settled down in Canada. His real name is Aplos, but he prefers to be called Steven. Linkara paid him a visit during his journey to restore power to his magic items, and Steven told him the real reason they had lost their potency: [[spoiler:He was in danger of turning to the dark side, and the spirit in his Magic Gun took his magic away.]]

* BullyingADragon: After Linkara is told he is turning evil, he questions Aplos' credibility as a wizard. Prompting Aplos to power up [[PowerMakesYourVoiceDeep deepen his voice]] and tell him to [[BigShutUp shut up.]]
--> '''Linkara:''' This is nonsense you're probably not even the real wizard. I bet this is all an elaborate trap t---
* {{Jerkass}}: He throws a lot of insults at Linkara.
** JerkassHasAPoint: Most of the things he said were on point, particularly about Linkara [[spoiler: turning evil]].
* MrExposition: His role is to deliver exposition about magic, why Linkara's magic isn't working [[spoiler: and that he is turning evil.]]
* Really700YearsOld: Is so old that he decided his real name was too old fashioned.
* SpecialPersonNormalName: He decided "Aplos" sounded too weird and old-fashioned, so he renamed himself "Steven".

[[folder: Bear]]
He's evil. He's behind everything. He's six inches tall.

* BearsAreBadNews
* CreepyDoll
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: PlayedForLaughs in the PreviouslyOn segment for ''Daredevil #306'', and the ''Silent Hill: Dying Inside'' alternate endings even directly parody [[VideoGame/SilentHill2 the Trope Namer]].
-->'''Linkara:''' You! You're the secret manipulator behind everything! *pulls out Bear* BEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
* EldritchAbomination: Albeit, [[SealedEvilInATeddyBear one who preferred to take the form of a teddy bear]].
* JokeCharacter
* PhraseCatcher: BEAAAAAAR!
* ShoutOut: His RealLife name is [[WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTime Littlefoot]].
* SilentBob:
-->'''Linkara:''' He's a bear! What did you expect?
* StealthHiBye

[[folder: Future Linkara]]
After saving the world multiple times, Linkara will apparently keep reviewing comics well into middle age, getting significantly less cool as time passes. Future Linkara has met his present-day counterpart a few times, and "our" Linkara finds him kind of depressing. And no matter what alternate timeline he exists in, Future Linkara is never satisfied with the status of his hat.

* BasementDweller: In the year 2039, Linkara still lives with his parents. Or does he?
* FutureLoser
* MultipleChoicePast: The 500th Episode sees him complaining about being a victim of it, as Present Linkara's somewhat unpredictable actions constantly changes the timeline, sometimes in very radical ways, so he never be quite sure exactly what happened in his past at any given moment.
* MyFutureSelfAndMe
* TakeThatMe: It's been 30 years and he ''still'' hasn't published the third issue of his comic.

[[folder: Holokara]]
A holographic duplicate of Linkara, down to his very last mannerism and verbal tic, Holokara was created (using Franchise/StarTrek tech) to fake out Whatley and his eldritch cult when he was forced to review another stack of Silent Hill comic books. Effectively identical to Linkara in every way, save for the fact that he's simply an electromagnetic light construct.

* AchillesHeel: [[spoiler: Subverted. Anyone who's watched [[Series/StarTrekVoyager Voyager]] would ''think'' that his mobile emitter is this(and Harvey even suggests it at one point), but Linksano points out that, since Holokara is made up of light and force fields, he has no trouble simply protecting his mobile emitter with a force field, so shooting it is exactly as ineffective as shooting any other part of him.]]
* AffablyEvil: [[spoiler: He's very polite and mild-mannered, even when he threatens Harvey, and he seems fairly amicable when not confronted in a hostile way or met with defiance. He realy does just want the show to run as smoothly as possible, even if it means eliminating the others.]]
* AIIsACrapshoot: [[spoiler: Subverted. There was nothing wrong with the programming of Holokara's A.I. at all; the only problem with him is that he was based on Linkara's memories and thought patterns, meaning Holokara was basically what Linkara was going to become if he didn't go to find himself and find out he was becoming evil. Holokara is basically the road that Linkara would have taken.]]
* AxCrazy: [[spoiler: To call him psychotic would be putting it lightly. Case in point: he threatened to outright ''[[DisproportionateRetribution kill]]'' 90's Kid if he [[FelonyMisdemeanor interrupted]] [[SeriousBusiness the show]] again, then threatened to crush Harvey's windpipe for calling him out on the aforementioned threat.]]
* DeadPersonImpersonation: [[spoiler: Linkara reprograms him to impersonate the Entity, in order to trick Vyce into going through a dimensional portal.]]
* EvilCounterpart: [[spoiler: To Linkara in a more literal form.]]
* EnemyWithout: [[spoiler: He is all of Linkara's previous and current character flaws made manifest, and taken to their logical conclusion. When Linkara reads him the riot act, he's basically lecturing himself.]]
* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler: After Linkara leaves him to host the show for a while, he starts getting some bad ideas...]]
** For example: [[spoiler: he threatened to]] '''[[spoiler: kill]]''' [[spoiler: 90's Kid if he interrupted the show again]].
** [[spoiler: He also threatened to crush Harvey's windpipe when he confronted him for threatening 90's Kid.]]
* HiddenInPlainSight: If you've ever watched ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'' with some regularity, you know that [[spoiler: Linkara didn't review a single one of those Silent Hill comics.]]
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: Believes this.
-->'''Holokara:''' [[spoiler:They'll never change unless we ''make'' them change.]]
* ImmuneToBullets: Being a hologram, he's impossible to kill unless you damage his holo-emitter, unfortunately for Pyramid Head and [[spoiler: Harvey.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: [[spoiler: When he's revealed to be a villain, and isn't reviewing comics.]]
* KnightTemplar: Thinks that [[spoiler:murder is justified when avenging the injustices done to comic book superheroes.]]
* LightIsNotGood: He is a [[HardLight hologram]], after all.
* PsychopathicManchild: He is willing to [[spoiler:kill many people just so that his favorite comic book characters are treated with respect]].
* RedemptionEqualsDeath: [[spoiler: He is reactivated again to impersonate the Linkara-possessed Entity to trick Vyce to taking both out. With the complete destruction of Comicron-2, it's not likely that the mobile emitter survived, meaning Holokara is dead for good]].
* SarcasmMode: When 'slain' by Whatley's Pyramid Head.
-->'''Holokara:''' Oh, ow, I have been slain. Blargh.
* ShoutOut: Holokara's first scene plays out very similarly to a scene in the ''Series/DoctorWho'' episode "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS16E2ThePiratePlanet The Pirate Planet]]".
* WalkingSpoiler: Suffice to say, he's more than just a stand-in when Linkara's not around.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He is ultimately revealed to be this. [[spoiler:He wanted to use Comicron 1 to force Marvel and DC to fix all of the terrible things they'd done to superheroes in their comics, which was what was slowly driving both Linkara and Holokara insane. Linkara points out that doing that makes him no better than the comics editors who are ruining the characters in the first place.]]
* WrongGenreSavvy: [[spoiler:Acts the same way Linkara would have and thinks that's acceptable. Unfortunately for him, he's in a story that deconstructs that kind of behavior, and as such his actions are outright horrifying.]]

[[folder: Moarte]]
The host of another series by Linkara, ''Longbox of the Damned,'' in which he showcases a horror comic once per day during the month of October leading up to Halloween, though in 2015, he also did it during the month of July. Moarte is a ghoul who lives in a darkened library full of comic books, which he shows to the viewer with hammy glee. He has yet to appear in ''Atop the Fourth Wall'' proper, and [[WordOfGod Lewis says he's unlikely to change that]], but it could happen.

* AffablyEvil: He's a creepy undead ghoul...who just wants to encourage people to read more horror comics. He ''loves'' his "children."
* TheBadGuyWins: Expresses a preference towards this, even spitting at the notion of good being victorious.
* BilingualBonus: His name is Romanian for 'death'. Transylvania of course being part of Romania.
* BondOneLiner: This guy could give [[Series/TalesFromTheCrypt Crypty]] and [[Franchise/ANightmareOnElmStreet Freddy]] a run for their puns.
* CatchPhrase: "My children!" He often begins in saying, "Hello, my children!" but other times, it's usually something else entirely but will always end with "My children".
* CursedWithAwesome: In the first episode he says he's cursed to forever "watch over" horror comics, but doesn't seem to mind very much.
* DoNotSpoilThisEnding: Most review's don't reveal certain details about the comic, most commonly the ending. Moarte does this to encourage the viewer to read the comic themselves.
* [[EvenEvilHasStandards Even the Undead Have Standards]]: Despite [[NightmareFetishist enjoying slaughter and fear]] and preferring the dead over the living, Moarte considers [[ComicBook/BlackestNight the Black Lantern's desire to kill emotion]] abhorrent.
** As much as Moarte loves the macabre, in the ''Children of the Grave'' review, he says that he takes no pleasure in witnessing the [[WarIsHell horrors of war]].
** In his ''Anime/HellGirl'' review, Moarte takes time to mention that, speaking as one who has traveled to Hell, there is a guaranteed special place there for child molesters.
** Despite his preference for [[DownerEnding Downer Endings]], he criticizes the finale of ''Uzumaki'', noting how Kirie dying means her acting as the narrator doesn't make any sense, and how she had been going through so many terrible things throughout the series without setting her up for anything, she just gives up when her boyfriend dies.
* EvilLaugh: Closes every episode with one.
* HorrorHost: Moarte owes a lot to the likes of Cain from ''ComicBook/HouseOfMystery'', Creator/ElviraMistressOfTheDark, and of course, the Crypt Keeper from ''Series/TalesFromTheCrypt''.
* TheHyena
* ILoveTheDead: Prefers "the bones to the boobs".
* ImAHumanitarian: Appears to be one according to his ''ComicBook/TheWalkingDead'' vol. 1 review. Though, considering that he's a ghoul it's kind of in the description, but he notes that fake rubber hands don't have much meat on them.
* IncomingHam: "'''HELLO, MY CHEEELDREN!'''"
* LargeHam: The cast of ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann'' would think he's a bit over the top.
* ManInWhite: Clothes, gloves, and skin, though his coat is black.
* MundaneMadeAwesome: He's able to add dramatic flare to rifling through a longbox of comics, something most comic collectors do in the store.
** After talking about Creator/EdgarAllanPoe wanting to bring his wife back to life, he points out that being undead seems OK to him: "I am neither living nor dead, and I'm doing pretty well, I have ''a table'' and everything!" (taps it)
* NightmareFetishist: Comes with the territory.
** One example from The Day of Judgment review, is that he considers heaven overrated because there's not enough blood and guts to suit his tastes.
** He also considers [[BlackComedy dark humor]] the best kind of humor
* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Usually the accent is much stronger when the camera is on Moarte than when he is narrating over the comic. Sometimes it will deliberately fade for a bathos-type punchline.
* PapaWolf: He might have [[NightmareFetishist unusual enthusiasm for horror]] but he is pretty protective of children.
** In his review of ''Manga/XxxHolic'' chapter 14 he takes time to explain that, despite the name of the manga, he would never [[JustForFun/IThoughtItMeant show his "children" anything sexual]]. Additionally when one of the ghost stories in the chapter involves a child [[spoiler: being trapped in a room by their father]] he notes that even with all of the stories about the undead and Lovecraftian horrors ''this'' [[EvenEvilHasStandards is the one that frightens him a little]].
** During his review of ''Anime/HellGirl'' he takes a moment to guarantee that there is a special place in hell for child molesters.
* SharpDressedMan
* TearsOfBlood: In ''Eerie'' #1, he says that the final story brings bloody tears to [his] dried up eye sockets.
* TheUndead: He is "neither living nor dead". Even he isn't clear on the details though.
-->"At least I'm not in hell!" *Beat* "What '''''is''''' the theology around me, anyway?"
* VampireVords: Speaks like this despite being a ghoul [[note]][[WordOfGod Lewis confirmed that he's not a vampire]] [[AllThereInTheManual on the DVD]][[/note]].
* VerbalTic: His ending sentences with "my cheeldren" sometimes falls into this.
* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: He has a bizarre, vaguely Central/Eastern European accent that's somewhere between Creator/PeterLorre and a Hollywood Roma. In the ''Invaders'' #31 review, he claims it's an American accent.

[[folder: The Sniper]]
A very minor character who presents the commercials in a couple episodes. So far hasn't appeared in any reviews proper. Based on the character from ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2''.

* LargeHam%
* NiceHat%

[[folder: Snowflame]]
A villain from the DC comic ''New Guardians'', in the comic he died in the issue he was introduced (#2) but he was a such a bombastic character that he was rather taken to by many people who read it. Linkara has discovered him and taken him back to his place during the review of ''New Guardians #1''. He worships, and is powered by, cocaine. At this point it isn't clear if he's Linkara's ally or enemy or just some sort of bizarre roomate Linkara's found. More recent strips lean towards 'bizarre roomate'...

* AddictionPowered: Snowflame is powered by ''COCAINE!'' So much so that he's the page picture.
-->'''Snowflame:''' COFFEE IS LIQUID COCAINE!
* BrokenAesop: PlayedForLaughs in his Public Service Announcements. Especially his peer pressure PSA.
* CallingYourAttacks: If "doing random stuff" can be classed as attacks.
--> '''Snowflame:''' SNOWFLAME IS WATCHING YOU READ! \\
'''Snowflame:''' [[BreadEggsMilkSquick SNOWFLAME MADE COCAINE POPSICLES!]]
* CloudCuckooLander
--> '''Snowflame:''' SNOWFLAME HAS NO CONCEPT OF TIME! *[[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext ghostly moaning]]*
* {{Fanboy}}: He is a [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Brony]] or at least would be if he could remember the show and character's names.
* IncomingHam: "And now, a Public Service Announcement from... '''SNOOOOWFLAME!!!'''"
* LargeHam: Much like in his comic book appearance, Snowflame likes to yell and exclaim things.
** He also makes a sandwich in the most bombastic way possible...and then carefully measure the amount of cocaine to put on top.
* MadLibsCatchPhrase: His advice on peer pressure is thus: If someone challenges to do no matter what it is? Do [[UpToEleven fifty]] , ''At the same time!'' no matter what the challenge is.
--> '''Snowflame:''' Somebody challenges you to smoke a cigarette? Smoke 50! ''AT THE SAME TIME!''
--> '''Snowflame:''' Somebody challenges you to jump a bench? Jump 50! ''AT THE SAME TIME!''
--> '''Snowflame:''' Somebody challenges you to eat the last cupcake? Eat 50! ''AT THE SAME TIME!''
* ManChild: He thinks the snow outside is cocaine, butts into conversations and scenes, and is rather inquisitive natured for an adult.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Upon learning snorting cocaine can damage one's sinuses, it prompts this response:
--> '''Snowflame:''' What has Snowflame ''dooone?''
* NoIndoorVoice
* ThirdPersonPerson

[[folder: Fat Grandma]]
Linkara's alleged grandma, the sassiest old woman you'll ever meet.

* BerserkButton: She does not like Mussolini, "for that business he done pulled in Albania." She also does not care much for WebVideo/TheCinemaSnob.
* CanonForeigner: She's appeared in the reviews of the Cinema Snob, Phelous, the Nostalgia Critic and Welshy's last episode, but has yet to appear on Atop the Fourth Wall (outside of the commercial bumpers).
** Linkara has gone on record, saying that she shall not appear in any A T 4 W Episodes, but shall appear in the Videos of his fellow Critics.
** [[spoiler:Fat Grandma is heard offscreen during Part One of the 500th Epsiode, having married the Cinema Snob in the gap between the episode's air date and the five-years-into-the-future messages he receives. Linkara states he has no idea who Fat Grandma is.]]
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}
* [[CoolOldGuy Cool Old Lady:]] To everyone except Linkara, apparently.
* TheFundamentalist: In her cameo in [[WebVideo/TheCinemaSnob The Cinema Snob's]] review of ''Film/GodsNotDead2'' she apparently enjoyed said film and that "Dr. Jones" should use his mouth for prayer in schools...yet again a later cutaway shows she also enjoyed ''Film/FiftyShadesDarker''.
* [[GrumpyOldMan Grumpy Old Woman]]: So, so much.
* IAmLegion: According to the Commentary of the Atop The Fourth Wall Film; [[spoiler: She is possessed by some kind of being, that is only able to become vocal, any time she falls asleep]].
* InformedAbility: She is apparently a SupremeChef, her delicious cooking being the only reason why Linkara tolerates to keep her around.
* InsaneTrollLogic: ''Everything she says.''
-->'''Fat Grandma''' You must avenge me!
-->'''Hyperfangirl:''' You're not even dead!
-->'''Fat Grandma:''' Mind your own business!
* LargeHam: Probably Lewis' character who is enjoying itself the most.
* LemonyNarrator: The Stinger of WebVideo/{{Welshy}}'s Farawell shows that the episode was Fat Grandma telling the story of how the show ended, much to Linkara's chagrin. ''Then she makes him listen to the tale of Webvideo/DemoReel''
-->'''Fat Grandma''': This one is the story of Webvideo/DemoReel. It's not very long.
-->'''Linkara''': God Damned, Fat Grandma! You're going to get me fired!!
-->'''Fat Grandma''': You hush your mouth and listen! Anyway, the story of Demo Reel begins [[WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee when some ego-maniacal prick got pulled into a Plot Hole...]]
* {{Metaphorgotten}}:
--> '''Fat Grandma:''' Now let me impart some words of wisdom to you from Fat Grandma: A penny saved, is a penny in your pocket!
* TheNicknamer: She insists on referring to WebVideo/TheCinemaSnob as ''the Cinema [[TheGrinch Scrooge]].''
* NoNameGiven / OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Everyone only refers to her as "Fat Grandma".
* ParentalSubstitute: In Nostalgia Critic's Disney Afternoon episode, since both Critic and Malcom's moms were there, Tamara's mom was replaced by Fat Grandma. [[spoiler:She also seems to be Hyper's SplitPersonality grandma]].
* [[PoisonousFriend Poisonous Grandma]]: She's the one who convinces (very easily it should be noted) Hyper that she should keep stalking Critic.
* ScrewPolitenessImASenior: Fat Grandma is sass personified.
* ShipperOnDeck: With plenty of PoisonousFriend, she's probably the only person in or out of universe to want Hyper with Critic.
* TotallyRadical: Talks like a SassyBlackWoman for no clear reason.

!! Contest of Champions

[[folder: Empira]]
A champion who uses magic as her method of combat. According to her dossier, she's successfully fought off demons and other such threats to her universe, which makes her one of the more moral Champions competing in the Contest. Also according to her dossier, this is her first Contest.

* ActionGirl: The first Champion that Linkara fights, though only for the preliminary round thus far, and she's revealed to be a rather powerful sorceress in her world.
* BadPowersGoodPeople: Empira's primary form of attack is to MindRape her opponents and she can also switch and use fire balls and other such dark magic if her opponents can stand her initial assault. However, she is a genuine hero in her reality and congratulates Linkara on a well fought battle after he survives her attack in the preliminaries.
* CreepyGood: Empira is a LadyOfBlackMagic whose primary tactic in battle is to MindRape her opponents into submission, and when she fought Linkara in the preliminaries, she didn't speak for the entire encounter. However, she is a genuine hero and sincerely congratulates Linkara after he manages to overcome her assault.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Wears a black robe and a black hood and mask over her face and gives off a threatening aura during her encounter with Linkara, but she is one of the most moral Champions competing in the Contest and is quite friendly outside of combat.
* DominoMask: She wears a large black one.
* FriendlyEnemy: Gives Linkara a complimentary handshake after their preliminary battle and wishes him good luck and a Happy Hallowen.
* LadyOfBlackMagic: She gives off this vibe with her attire and powers.
* MindRape: Prefers to use this tactic on her opponents so that they'll destroy themselves.

[[folder: Destrogalga]]
The local Kaiju champion, he's like Godzilla in that he's been on both sides of the moral spectrum. Like fellow Champions Linkara and Empira, this is his first Contest.

* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: His specific height is 100 meters.
* DestructiveSavior: Much like the actual Godzilla, Destrogalga firmly stands on the neutral side of the moral spectrum, and even when fighting on the side of good, he's caused much damage in his battles.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: According to his dossier, he has been both hero and villain, much like Godzilla.
* ItCanThink: Linksano is incredulous that a Kaiju is in the Contest in the first place, but Jaeris notes that valid Champions have to understand, on some level, what the Contest is and how it operates. Given that Destrogalga is willingly competing in the first place...
* {{Kaiju}}: See his profile. In his case, he's 100 meters tall, [[BreathWeapon can shoot energy blasts from his mouth]], and the spikes on his back can be shot at his opponents and magnetically return to him.
* {{Notzilla}}: He stands somewhere between this and an {{Expy}} of the King of the Monsters.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: He's a Kaiju...kind of comes with the territory. Bandit Chief also mentions that if he goes up against him he probably wouldn't even be able to slow him down.
* RedBaron: He's known as the ''King of Creatures''.

[[folder: Bandit Chief]]
A Champion who is both a notorious mercenary and a hardy survivalist. He's been in four previous Contests and made it to the semi-finals in two of them.

* ActorAllusion: He mentions "little kids opening trading card packs" in his first appearance, a clear reference to the fact that he's voiced by the creator of ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries''.
* BadassNormal: From what we can tell so far, he has no elaborate superpowers -- he's just really cunning, resourceful, and ruthless.
* CombatPragmatist: Stated to be one by Jaeris, who fought him in his last Contest and lost. If he gets to pick the Contest, he ''will'' make sure it's one he can win. If the Contests allowed for killing, he'd do it in a heartbeat. It also applies in the [[HoistByHisOwnPetard opposite direction]], as it's really the only way for him to be defeated.
* TheDreaded: Jaeris does not talk of him lightly, and stresses how dangerous he is.
* NoNameGiven: He doesn't have any other name besides his title.
* PunnyName: Given that he's voiced by Creator/LittleKuriboh, his name is clearly a pun on [[Manga/YuGiOh Bandit Keith]].
* SmugSnake: Averted. He gloats about easily defeating a samurai, but he immediately recognizes Linkara as someone who won against [[TheDreaded Lord Vyce]] and spends his pre-match time gearing up and studying Linkara.
* WakeUpCallBoss: While Linkara hasn't faced him yet, Jaeris has, and outright calls him someone to worry about.

[[folder: Pilo]]
A Champion who is essentially... a pile of rocks. [[NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer Yes, seriously.]] A constant crowd favorite, he's a veteran of the Contest.

* AnimateInanimateObject: Well, he has to be one, somehow.
* InexplicablyAwesome: A pile of rocks...that has competed in five contests and made it to second place in one of them. This notably [[LampshadeHanging bewilders everyone, who questions why]], and Jaeris implies that there has to be ''something'' that makes him so effective.
* LethalJokeCharacter: Pilo is a pile of rocks that, somehow, has made it into the finals multiple times, getting second place in the previous Contest, and is considered the most likely player to win this years Contest.
* RockMonster: Harvey asks if he's one...which no one is exactly sure about.

[[folder: Ace Corgi, Attorney at Paw]]
A champion who happens to be a canine lawyer.

* JokeCharacter: Unlike Pilo, Linkara doesn't think he has to worry too much about Corgi. Unless, as Erin suggests, Corgi challenges Linkara to a lawyer off. Or eating dog food.
* ShoutOut: He sounds like a dog version of [[VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorney Phoenix Wright]].

[[folder: Lord Spherakill, Overlord of the Dark Dimension]]
A champion from a dark dimension that looks like a plasma globe. Is defeated by Pilo in the first round of the Contest Of Champions.

* IntelligibleUnintelligible: Spherakill speaks in incomprehensible noises instead of English. Despite this, the interviewer seems to understand him perfectly well.
* RedBaron: Besides his title, described above, he is also known as the Destroyer of Dreams.
* SoundEffectsBleep: While he's utterly incomprehensible, Spherakill lets off a couple of these during his post-fight interview when asked for his thoughts on Pilo.

[[folder: Sharp Tusk]]
A champion and bounty hunter. Is defeated by Empira in the first round of the Contest of Champions.

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Empira is able to defeat Sharp Tusk by making him overload the systems of his invisibility device which knocked him out.
* {{Invisibility}}: Apparently his main shtick. Too bad Empira is able to turn it against him.

[[folder: Lavidian Scarn]]
A champion and deposed king of an interstellar empire. He is Linkara's first opponent for the Contest of Champions.

* AristocratsAreEvil: He believes he's inherently better than commoners and the rabble below him, and canít stand how his brother kept showing them compassion.
* BloodKnight: In his MotiveRant, he mentions a great love of combat, crushing others underneath his heel as was their way.
* CainAndAbel: His brother led an uprising and deposed him back home, and he fully intends to use the Infinity Gauntlet to destroy the man for it.
* TheCaligula: There are more than a few reasons he's a ''deposed'' king. Commenters have outright compared him to [[Series/GameOfThrones Joffrey Baratheon]].
* CloseRangeCombatant: He favors using a sword and getting up close and personal with those he defeats. Linkara wins by denying him that chance.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: He thinks his brother was weak for sympathizing with those the empire conquered and later leading them to depose him. He's also overseen massacres of innocent people and feels no remorse whatsoever; when Linkara calls him out on it, he thinks those people should have gladly bowed to him instead of resisting.
* EvilWearsBlack: He wears a black cloak and robes with white lining, as well as some sort of medallion [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver with a red ribbon]].
* HowTheMightyHaveFallen: To borrow his own words, he once commanded an empire, but after being overthrown, he now commands scraps. He resorts to fighting in the Contest in hopes of winning the Infinity Gauntlet and thus regaining his power and then some, and he views Linkara as beneath him.
* {{Hypocrite}}: He starts the round against Linkara by hiding in a closet and scoring a sneak attack, but when Linkara is able to take cover and start taunting him, Scarn demands that he "come out and fight me with honor". Linkara is quick to point out his flimsy idea of honor.
* KickTheDog: He refuses to accept his defeat and threatens to slay Linkara in a vain attempt to get it overturned.
* LargeHam: Will Wolfgram is clearly having fun in the role.
* NeverBringAKnifeToAGunFight: He brings an electrified saber and expects that to be enough against Linkara. He wasn't counting on the Magic Gun; though his sword ''is'' able to block its shots, it can't do much for sneak attacks.
* ParryingBullets: His sword is able to block the Magic Gun's blasts.
* SmugSnake: He's completely arrogant and dismissive of Linkara, having not even read the dossier on him and viewing him as easy prey rather than a WorthyOpponent. Given the foes Linkara has taken down by this point, you just ''know'' that's going to bite him in the ass -- and indeed it does.
* SoreLoser: When Linkara defeats him and is declared the winner, Scarn tries threatening Linkara's life to force the Temlin overseer to declare him victorious; he's easily thwarted and banned from any future tournaments.
* StarterVillain: For the Contest, being Linkara's opponent for the first true round and most definitely a villain, not a fellow hero like Empira.
* VillainousBreakdown: Linkara drives him into one by overpowering his weapon and taking cover while he's blinded, then proceeding to taunt him about his failures, about how those he oppressed rose against him. Scarn takes it ''very'' poorly and flies into a ranting rage, unable to even block Linkara's three winning shots, and when the round ends, he tries threatening to ''murder'' Linkara in order to be declared the winner, which naturally backfires on him.
