* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj0Ta91Z6R4&t=1m31s Moriarty's theme]] is ''epicly'' menacing.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwpVPJzNaok Sherlock's Theme]] isn't too shabby either.
* The hauntingly beautiful song that is [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwIVuKSfdvo Irene Adler's theme.]]
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwfVCFEff8s&t=1m24s Which Bottle?]] which is basically tension given musical form.
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIBXwnV1mb8 The main theme]] is pretty good too.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg2nmEdyw0w The Reichenbach Ballad]] is a minor-key variation of the above. The feels, the FEELS.
* The tear-jerkingly sad and beautiful [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_c0biZv7KM War,]] which is pretty much John's theme.
** Made ten times worse with [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzMYrGuZ8DU One More Miracle.]]
* The whirlwind of emotions felt/portrayed by Sherlock at the end of Series 2 is best shown musically with [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy_2B-diV18 Prepared to Do Anything]]. The song halfway through culminates the starting half's tension with a violin and piano section that mirror John's and Sherlock's themes in a minor key that just begs the tear ducts.
* Series 3 produced plenty of memorable tracks:
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u-TCKfmLvY How It Was Done,]] the rock opening signifying the return of the coolness that is Sherlock Holmes.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgRfFwwb1j8 John is Quite a Guy]] is absolutely gripping, especially as it crescendos to its startlingly gripping finish.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrqqrptINeI Stag Night.]] Dubstep FTW!
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gFatKdnyB4#t=2438 Waltz for John and Mary.]]
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pphH8GDLhYQ2 The Lie in Leinster Gardens]] and [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45OzxFT9DWU Addicted to a Certain Lifestyle]]. Both double as Tearjerkers.
** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9vCEw0u4_8 The East Wind.]]
** And last but not least, [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax2GvSwlASM Redbeard,]] the song that plays as Sherlock [[spoiler:wills himself back to life.]]
