* ''Digimon Tamers'' had plenty of great songs. Some only heard in the anime, like the sad but incredibly moving saxophone with piano background version of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEJhG4_1Mhs The Biggest Dreamer]], and some that were never even heard in the anime, and that (obviously) were never sold around the world.
* Rika's theme from the ''Best Tamer'' album, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXlJbzHGMxE Moon Fighter]], firmly establishes her as a Badass.
* Beelzemon's theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reJH5MvegRo "Black Intruder"]], makes him a BadassBiker.
* Hirokazu's theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e146CpuwURI "HeroKazu",]] makes him a beach boy
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fAgJ483EZ0 Starting Point]] has some interesting musical variations.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZZjh2QfoDU Anytime Moumantai]], in which Terriermon's dual nature is comically exposed.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUjT8gtJnQc Never Ending Story]] is a more relaxed, but touching duet between Jeri and Leomon. Jeri's alternate theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0-04OVFChg Itsu ka no Iro or The Colour of Someday]] from the Digimon Girls Festival, is for lack of better word, ''street''. Words cannot spoil the surprise of the tune. [[http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/digitame/itsukanoiro.htm With lyrics.]]
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coIqBqM3wgk Wind]] is the full version of the music played when the tamers decide to go to the digital world.
* Both the Latino dub of the Tamers [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgiJ9bflyYE opening theme]] and the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIHvfItKMWc German remix]] puts the English dub to complete and horrid shame.
%%** The Japanese original, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa8almxnYto The Biggest Dreamer]]". Its [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec92887bX30 memorial theme]] is pretty damn cool too.
%%** César Franco is the voice behind the Latino Dub of the Tamers opening theme. The full version, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN12pUB0G-I Sueña, Inventa (El Gran Soñador)]], is well worth a listen.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbGjxdyRdOI "One Vision"]] made several moments from Anime/DigimonTamers incredibly awesome.
** Pretty much any moment where the Ultimate/Mega Digimon appear is made instantly awesome by that song. It also helps that the 3 different Digimon get different renditions to start up. Gallantmon goes straight into the rock chorus of the song, [=MegaGargomon=] starts up with the rock riffs from the beginning, and Sakuyamon gets an entirely different theme (More Traditional Japanese sounding) before going into One Vision.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOVoq5KRD7U the German version]] is almost even more awesome for using the song's iconic badass guitar solo ''right at the beginning of the song''.
** It's not the first time that guitar solo appears. It's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ujGwMwWpEA Dukemon's specific riff]].
* "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysWLoNT2rPo EVO]]" and "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5wdDxziaXE Slash]]" gave Tamers its unique feeling. "Evo" also had an awesome remix in the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Apur0EiRWI German dub]].
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clGEBxcwoWM Yuhi no Yakusoku.]]
%%** The English dub has [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cj5rjvcQdU Promise.]]
%%** {{Tear Jerk|er}}ing music: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFlDt2lrGbA Three Primary Colours]].
%%** The opposite side of Primary Colors, sung by the Digimon partners: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPXf7Hw8uYA Issho ga ii ne]].
%%* The two heartwarming TV ending themes:
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY0uHEcJPP8 My Tomorrow]], sung by [=AiM=] (Ai Maeda) and the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZk0iw2197A memorial version]], sung by the female characters' cast.
%%** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVg134EolZg Days]], also by [=AiM=].
%%* The Tamers' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNPQU_HTPmw drum and bass remix]] of the dub theme.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsIOovWnE1M The Korean Opening.]] Compared to the American version and Japanese version (which felt like a very typical Shonen anime opening), the tone of this version managed to capture the anime's darker theme while remaining faithful to its Shonen feel. Even better, the lyrics are all about maturity and coming-of-age, which are recurring themes of Tamers.
* Say what you will about the English dub, but they nailed it with the soundtrack. In addition to the reused elements of the ''Digimon Adventure'' score, they added moody orchestral pieces that were obviously heavily inspired by ''Film/TheMatrix''. And the theme tune gets quite an [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbSahq5Wq0A awesome remix]] for this season too.
** The standard ''Digimon Tamers'' English Digivolution theme (heard [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ0rbfwhgvQ here]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCRq1TGxPk4 here]]) modifies the English "Digimon Theme", giving it a nice sort of "bite" or "edge" that seems warranted for transformation scenes.
** The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkAkehyaOwU English "Digi-Modify"/"Digi-Modification" theme]] practically embodies the concept of being "digital", greatly complementing the scenes when it plays.
** The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tak5XoMPPA8 "Bio-merge Digivolution"]] theme takes on a mystical, contemplative mood of sorts while still incorporating pieces of the English ''Digimon'' theme song.
** In general, the sound mixing once the series takes a harsh swerve into serious territory becomes incredible. It sounds ominous when it needs to be ominous, it sounds tragic when it needs to be tragic. This is a pretty big departure from ''Adventure+02'''s dub work which, while actually pretty good, was often was a borderline GagDub and sometimes made music choices that felt offbeat. it's especially impressive considering that while the director was different, many of the same people who worked on the previous two dubs also worked on this one. It's rare that a dub that has been edited to air on children's TV in the States manages to be just as serious, if not arguably ''more'' so than its Japanese counterpart, but ''Tamers'' is absolutely an exception.
