In a series that is SugarWiki/SweetDreamsFuel incarnate, expect to see many happy and cute songs. (Though it does have its fair share of sad and dramatic songs.)

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIKsjEfsHWQ "Sakura's Theme II"]] not only is an awesome song, but also plays during almost every action scene in the first two seasons in addition to every next episode teaser. By the third season, it gets replaced with the equally cool [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg_vDbSrtPE "Card wo Tsugumono".]]
* The third season's opening theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Fiuix9N9uA "Platinum"]], was composed by Music/YokoKanno and sung by Creator/MaayaSakamoto, so this being here isn't unexpected. Then there's the awesome orchestral arrangement in [[https://youtu.be/l9MNp45ycZc "Hontou no Ichiban"]], which plays when Syaoran comforts a crying Sakura after Yukito gently turns down her confession.
%%* Special recognition goes to the song [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34XpMWIWqSU "Suki tte Nandarou"]], literally translating to "[[MemeticMutation What is love?]]"
* In addition to the aforementioned "Platinum'', the other openings and endings deserve a mention. They are: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqEaNrtdCXY "Catch You Catch Me"]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9SfrNat82Q "Tobira wo Akete"]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je0hiUmxxrg "Groovy!"]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paqtfwZNAIA "Honey"]], and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRFGgSIfvOU "Fruits Candy"]].
* The ''Cardcaptors'' English dub also had really nice music, with the crowning piece being [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwjuvas1_zk "Guardian of the Cards"]].
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERpK-7K70ws The English dub opening]] played up the mysticism and tension of the show over the comedy and sweetness, but it did it really well. That chant is cool, describing all of the cards the main characters could face and reminding the audience that Clow Cards could be anything.
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ir4DQLNRUgs "Spring Night Love Song"]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtFllU2CfXE "Tooi Kono Machi de"]] from the first movie.
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqo7boxAO_Q "Ashita e no Melody"]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS8F3C2Lzy0 "blue as the sky"]] from the second movie.
* The awesome insert song, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw0v8d_KLMY "Mienai Chizu"]]. Played at the end of the episode where Sakura meets Clow's spirit and right before Sakura, Yue and Kero's last duel with Eriol, Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun.
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YjmrSuO6nI "Ki Ni Naru Aitsu"]], a track about Syaoran's developing feelings for Sakura.
%%* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jot20dvd3zM "Hitorijime"]], the insert song from the Dream Card's episode.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5ul2COrSD8 The Korean dub of the opening]] (Cardcaptor Cherry) is cute and bouncy.
* The French dub uses Froggy Mix's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpjQy1OyV_s "No Nagging"]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1Xh8gExIzE "Razzmatazz"]] for its first and second opening themes, which are both fun, upbeat Europop style songs. For unknown reasons, "Razzmatazz" replaced the English dub's opening for the Sakura Card arc when it aired in the United Kingdom.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7a9oL4jw0o4 The Cantonese opening]] is a cheery, relaxed tune that represents the fluffy side of the series.
