Despite the LighterAndSofter tone of the series, the awesomeness of the Franchise/UltraSeries remains all the same.
!The Series
!!''In General''
* Everytime Cosmos decides NOT to kill a monster is this. Showing that not all monsters are evil and some are just trying to live their live as part of the earth, also doubles as heartwarming.
** In addition, every time Cosmos decides to get serious and transforms into Corona mode and later Eclipse, you can be he's going to deliver some glorious ass kicking.
* Basically all fights with Chaos Header's physical forms, ''especially'' with Chaos Ultraman. All of them are intense Showdowns that forced the titular Ultra to give it his all and NOT hold back anymore.
!!''Episode 1: Reunion with Light''
* Cosmos' first battle against Chaos Lidorias. Without harming the corrupted benevolent Kaiju, Cosmos is able to successfully subdue and purify her, ending the first attack of Chaos Header.
!!''Episode 36: The Mountain of Yokai''
* Yamawarawa in the past managed to defeat and seal away the violent Mahagenom. Given that Mahagenom was shown to be capable of overpowering Ultraman Cosmos' Luna and Corona mode it was no small feat given that it had to fight, survive and seal the monster away entirely on its own.
* Despite spending most of the episode running away from hunters and the police with the help of Ayano and some kids, Yamawarawa ''immediately'' jumps into the battlefield to protect the humans from Mahagenom when he discovers his long-time nemesis escaped his prison.
* After Mahagenom overpowers Yamawarawa, Cosmos joins in on the fray to help his kaiju friend; the two manage to actually put the hurt on Mahagenom despite neither being capable of killing him outright. Regardless, Cosmos' efforts stall long enough for Yamawarawa to perform the sealing ceremony and trap Mahagenom once again and this time for good.
!!''Episode 51: Enemy of Chaos''
* Captain Hiura giving [[HateSink Officer Saijo]] who recently caused the death of the NonMaliciousMonster, Mazalgas, a well-deserved punch in the face and then calls him out on how the JADF have not helped EYES nor anyone solve anything and all that he and his organization have done are crush their hopes out of prejudice. Saijo doesn't even gets up afterwards and can only stare in defeat as his own scientist [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere calls it quits]] and leaves him as he can [[EveryoneHasStandards no longer support the extremist approaches of the JADF]].
!!''Episode 53: Future Monster''
* The Alien Nowars manage to put Ultraman Cosmos in his Eclipse mode on the ropes by tag-teaming with Ragstone Mechalator, as their ship blasts Cosmos anytime he's attempting to recover from being pummeled by their kaiju. It's only Arados' interference that prevents them from winning outright.
* Baby Arados managing to send Ragstone Mechalator to the edge of time with the last of its energy, dying in the process but allowing Cosmos to avenge him by clearing the way for him to destroy the Nowars' ship.
!!''Episode 65: True Hero''
* When Chaos Header begins his final rampage, three kaiju; Lidorias, Mogrudon and Bolgils; show up and head towards him... So they can try and use their cries to reach out to Chaos Header's inner goodness, despite the three having nothing else but their voices of kindness, it is enough to get Chaos Header to momentarily hesitate and stop. And their pacific resistance gives Musashi the answer to whether or not redeeming Chaos Header was possible.
* The final battle, having long separated from Musashi and giving in to his anger, Cosmos in Corona Mode is fighting a losing battle against Chaos Darkness, the final and most powerful form of Chaos Header, and all hope seems lost... Until Musashi arrives and bonds with him once again, with the two achieving a more powerful state of Luna Mode, which uses the Full Moon Rect, as well as assistance from their monster friends, Lidorias, Bolgils and Mogrudon, to reach out to Chaos Header's inner goodness and purify it.
