* Going onto his Mixi to out the secrets of Home of Heart when all his other sites were controlled by the cult, then calling a full press conference to apologize and at the same time demand the cult stop scamming other people....[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMgoGTbEopY Video of the first press conference here - first part, the rest is in related videos]]
** Toshi's fans and Music/XJapan fans also had a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome when the news of Masaya's scam broke. In a [[BrokenBase rare display of fan unity]], they organized both a support campaign for Toshi and unleashed a counterattack against Masaya-owned "Toshi" properties that led Masaya or someone representing him to [[BerserkButton hilariously and ineffectually lash out]]. Fans had almost immediately began piling onto the Masaya-owned Myspaces and such to proclaim Masaya a ConMan and post more than one TheReasonYouSuckSpeech, threaten legal action, [[KirkSummation demand that he give the sites back to Toshi]], and tell people not to buy things from which Masaya gets money or believe anything posted on his sites. Masaya would eventually learn how to use the banhammer, and now all his properties are either posting-disabled or posting is only allowed by his supporters, but the counterattack had already had its effect, and most of the fandom knew what had happened by that point, making his attempts at [[Literature/NineteenEightyFour damage control by banning the enraged commenters and deleting their comments]] seem laughable.
* His tour of charity concerts after the 2011 Japanese tsunami and earthquake. He's raised money for victims, accomplished his original goals of doing something actually good for society and the people around him...
* His going back to his painful and triggering memories of life in the sect to write his autobiography about his years in it, despite the risks doing so have posed to his mental health and personal security. If even ''one'' person reads his story and recognizes themselves and their experience in a religious group/self-help seminar/any other organization to be similar and/or becomes aware of how abusive social groups and abusers manipulate even people who think themselves immune and therefore doesn't join such a group - he's likely saved their money, mental health, and even possibly their life simply by relating his own experiences.
