* In "Batman: Dead or Alive", Batman and Robin save the Wonder Twins, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Superman from their death traps.
* In "The Super Friends Meet Frankenstein", a mad scientist transfer most of the heroes' powers into his FrankensteinsMonster; Robin gets charged up in the same way to fight it, and after battling it to an exhausting stalemate, comes up with a [[KryptoniteProofSuit genuinely clever way]] of incapacitating the thing long enough for the powers to be restored to their rightful owners. Also, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman manage to capture the mad scientist even without their powers and equipment.
* In "The Case of the Shrinking Super Friends", the senior members are away on a mission in space and left the junior members (Firestorm, Robin, and the Wonder Twins) behind to guard the Hall of Justice. Just then, Lex Luthor, who had just invented a shrinking ray, arrives and shrinks the Hall of Justice, as well as the young Superfriends. Their first attempt to stop Luthor didn't go too well. However, after trailing him to his hideout and fighting off a couple of large spiders that Luthor turned on them, they were able to reverse the shrinking ray, get back to their normal size, capture Luthor, and return the Hall of Justice to normal all before the senior members returned home.
* In "Invasion of the Fearians", Captain Cold punches a frozen ''skyscraper'' and knocks it down. Later, Captain Cold tries to freeze Flash, but Flash runs up, grabs him, and sticks him in the path of his own beam.
* "Wanted: The Superfriends" has Lex Luthor use a dream machine to hypnotize several Superfriends into committing crimes. When they turn themselves in voluntarily, it's revealed Bizarro and Cheetah were the prison guards and they set the prison on a one-way course to the Sun--and this was just step one of Lex's plan, as he turns every civilian on Earth into evil duplicates of Bizarro and Cheetah, including Alfred, who nearly kills Batman and Robin by sending the Batmobile off a cliff. While the Superfriends turn the tables, Lex gloats that the machine will ''not'' work on the Legion and [[KarmaHoudini they successfully escape justice]].
* In "Revenge on Gorilla City", Grodd uses a device to control the city's gorillas into attacking the Superfriends. Batman, Flash, Robin, and Apache Chief manage to fight them off, until Black Manta shows up with a gun that creates energy boxes around them. First he uses it to capture and shrink the super-sized Apache Chief, then accounts for Flash's superspeed so he runs into the box instead of avoiding the ray, and finally uses a decoy of himself to snare Batman and Robin. Even Luthor is impressed when he comes back with the captive heroes.
* "Secret Origins of the Superfriends" has the Legion going back in time to take out the Superfriends' most powerful members. Cheetah cheats in the Amazons' games and wins the Contest, erasing Wonder Woman from history, Baby Kal-El is sent to a planet orbiting a red sun, and Lex beats Hal Jordan to Abin Sur's crashed ship and takes the Power Ring for himself, giving the ''awesome'' image of Lex Luthor with a Green Lantern ring and suit.
* "The Final Challenge" features an involuntary contest between the heroes and their enemies to determine which group is worthier of survival in the eyes of a powerful sorcerer. The Scarecrow wins his challenge (after sabotaging his opponent in a typically villainous manner) by lassoing a two-headed monster, while Wonder Woman wins hers by surfing down a lava stream using her lasso to steer a rock.
* In "The Evil From Krypton", Superman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern team up to defeat the General Zod {{Expy}} Zy-Kree, and everybody contributes. First, Green Lantern uses his Power Ring to form an armored car and pilots it through a field of disintegrating mines. Then, Aquaman infiltrates his base, uses a captive sea monster to hold Zy-Kree, then ducks his heat vision to destroy his red sun satellite and restore Superman's powers. At the end, Superman demonstrates to the overconfident Zy-Kree that he's [[UnskilledButStrong over-reliant on his powers and doesn't know how to fight]], with Superman side-stepping his attacks, judo-flipping him, etc.
* In "Superfriends: Rest in Peace", Superman is the only Justice League member who puts up a resistance to the Noxium, first by using his cape to deflect the full blast, then using a heavy metal door as a shield, and finds time to tie up Solomon Grundy along the way. It then becomes Lex's moment as he keeps blasting at Superman until he falls, and the Earth seems doomed.
* "The Revenge of Doom" features the final appearance of the Legion of Doom. In the end, Wonder Woman uses her lasso to snatch Sinestro's power ring and use it to cage the villains.
* In "Day of the Dinosaurs", Wonder Woman and Samurai get attacked by cavemen. One lunges at Wonder Woman, but she catches him and lifts him over her head, quips, "I bet you weren't expecting a girl to be this strong!" and throws him.
* A special one was when one episode, Wonder Woman was BrainwashedAndCrazy thanks to space pirates and Superman [[FightingYourFriend has to fight her.]] When she snares him with his magic lasso, he manages to snare her as well [[ArmorPiercingQuestion and asks her one question, "Are you my enemy, or my friend?"]] At that, [[ThePowerOfFriendship the truth of her friendship]] sets her free.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCwffUO4C5E This Promo]] That Time is Now indeed.
* "Darkseid's Golden Trap": First El Dorado faces ''Kalibak'' in combat and defeats him, then he uses his illusion abilities to trick Darkseid into using the gold kryptonite on Batman instead of Superman.
* "The Fear", the closest that this show actually gets to getting Batman right, plus it portrays his origins for the first time in animated media and does it shockingly well. [[SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct Adam West's performance is perfect]] as Batman, and it deals with his parent's death in a great manner.
** In general, the last season is where Batman stops being the goof with BatDeduction and limitless nonsensical bat-gadgets and begins to be the competent elder stateman of the team who actually uses his brain in a believable manner like when he quietly replaces Jack on the Royal Flush Gang and figures out Ace is actually the Joker.
* "The Death of Superman", when Superman comes in and scares Darkseid, you know you are dealing with a ticked-off Kryptonian.
* Firestorm is captured by Darkseid and held in a beam keyed to his body signature. However, he realizes that by splitting up into Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein, he can be freed and it works.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZL8i_AnZQ18 The opening theme]] of ''Challenge of the Superfriends'' has the Superfriends and the Legion of Doom facing each other, and ends with each group running towards one other. The last one is about two or three seconds of ''pure, unadultered win''. How awesome is it? ''WesternAnimation/XMenTheAnimatedSeries'' copied the same effect with X-Men vs. the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants!
* In “Terror at 20,000 Fathoms”, two microscopic Kandorians prevent California from sinking into the sea after a missile strike by using their super breath to blow enough sand at high enough speeds so that it fills the cracks in the earth and solidifies. The phrase PintSizedPowerhouse has rarely felt so accurate.
* When Darkseid tries to capture Steve Trevor during a space mission, Steve comes blasting out of the spaceship with a jet pack, punching at anyone who tries to grab him. He is overpowered, but gets a brief WorthyOpponent comment from Darkseid.
* Sinestro gets a villainous awesome moment in "Doomsday" when he and Black Manta are confronted by Aquaman. Sinestro uses his Power Ring to levitate Aquaman, then launches him across the sky into a distant part of the ocean.
-->'''Sinestro:''' I hear you're an excellent swimmer, Aquaman. Let's see how well you ''fly''.
* In "Colossus", the titular cosmic giant is so big he treats Earth as a marble. Apache Chief grows to the same size to stop him, arm-wrestles him into submission, and shrinks him with a shrink ray. Then Superman halts Colossus' rampage on Earth, and the two of them launch him back into space, now cut down to size.
