* To many, the Franchise/DisneyPrincess cameos count.
* [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech James calls Amber out]] on ruining Sofia's dance routine in the pilot movie.
-->'''James''': You gave Sofia the trick shoes on purpose!\\
'''Amber''': [[{{Hypocrite}} If I recall, you played a prank on her too?]]\\
'''James''': What you did ''wasn't'' a prank. She ''needed'' those dance lessons. You're trying to ruin her ball, and I know why.\\
'''Amber''': Because she doesn't belong here?\\
'''James''': No! Because everyone likes ''her'' more than you. And after what you did today, so do I!\\
'''Amber''': You don't mean that!\\
'''James''': Yes...I...do.
** In the climax, Wormwood flies toward Sofia as she picks up Cedric's spellbook only for Amber to [[BigSisterInstinct swat the bird away from her sister with a broom]]. Clover is impressed with Amber's skill.
-->'''Clover:''' All right, sports fans! That may be the first time Amber's picked up a broom, but she sure knows how to use it.
* Clover's song in "Blue Ribbon Bunny", and his dancing later on.
* Desmond at the end of "Make Way for Miss Nettle". He's a CowardlyLion that's had been trembling over his fears the whole episode (though that makes him all the more [[LovableCoward endearing]]), and by the end he finally faces his fears and [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu tackles Miss Nettle out of the air]]! She still puts him in a bubble... but then we find out that he managed to steal her wand in an awesome moment of BadassAdorable.
* Clover gets an epic TheDogBitesBack moment in "The Emerald Key" when he summons the woodland creatures of the forest to stop Mamanu.
* Anyone who's not fond of Disney Princess merchandise and was sure that this show would feature the {{Chickification}} of {{WesternAnimation/Mulan}} will surely be thrilled when she shows up to help Sofia ''in full battle armor''.
** Ming-Na Wen and Lea Salonga reprise their roles as the speaking (Wen) and singing (Salonga) voices of Mulan in "Princesses to the Rescue!", and despite that this episode aired 17 years after ''{{WesternAnimation/Mulan}}'', they don't sound any different--they're still pitch perfect.
* James when he enters the pedal race in "In A Tizzy" with a ''cannon'' on his machine - and he comes in second. Not last, second. Imagine propelling a car that goes on pedal power with a heavy cannon weighing it on, and managing to make any speed at all. Even if you're a grownup that can't be easy, and James isn't a grownup...
* In "The Secret Library", when Sofia challenges the prince over the pegasi, he tells her he can simply cut her umbrella in half with his sword. She delivers a BadassBoast, "You won't even get the chance." She then lives up to it.
* In "The Princess Stays in the Picture", Sofia is so fed up with Hildegard's know-it-all attitude that she rightfully [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech chews her out for causing their situation in the first place]].
-->'''Sofia:''' Oh, stop it, Hildegard! Just stop it! You act like you know everything, but you don't! And now thanks to you, we're going to be stuck in these paintings forever!
* Several in rapid order in "Baileywhoops". Cedric and Greylock succeed in rescuing the royals from crashing against the rocks, and Sofia then enters the scene. As Slickwell is trying to deal with the mess, and says, "Allow me," Sofia interrupts him and sternly says, "No, allow me...to tell everyone what you did!" She then shows the assembled royalty the spellbook that Slickwell used to curse Baileywick to make him too clumsy to carry out his duties.
* In the pilot movie, we learn that fencing lessons are part of the curriculum, for Princes ''and'' [[SilkHidingSteel Princesses.]] Now cut to "Baileywick's Day Off", when we see Sofia and James playing, and Sofia is clearly holding her own against James in their swordplay.
* All the moments when someone pushes her buttons to far and Sofia gets ''truly'' angry, not slightly annoyed, but ''truly angry'' and becomes an absolute force to be reckoned with.
* In "The Tale of the Noble Knight", when Sir Oliver tries to get his sword back from Sir Jaxon only for Sofia to fly in on Minimus and snatch the Ice Fire Shield from him, causing him to fall off his horse, with Minimus saying, "Ten out of ten, Sofia!"
** She was also able to lift Sir Jaxon off the ground while saving him from the flood!
* Sofia shows her mettle in "Day of the Sorcerers". Cedric, revealing his intentions to rule Enchancia, has frozen Roland and the rest of the royal family, as well as the guards. His wand is pointed directly at Sofia, and he could easily freeze her before she could make a move. But her resolve to save her family never wavers, and she doesn't flinch. Cedric can't bring himself to harm her, and she quickly seizes his wand and undoes the spell. But this isn't the end of it. Hurt as she was by Cedric's betrayal, she doesn't hesitate to confront him in the dungeon and tell him exactly why she's angry with him, including him saying that they weren't friends, because she's been around him long enough to know it's not true. She actually convinces him to undergo a HeelFaceTurn and turn on Grimtrix, who orchestrated the coup in the first place.
** Cedric gets a few as well in the same episode. First, when he hears that Grimtrix has arrived and retaken the royals (minus Sofia) prisoner again, he quickly frees himself from his cell, using Wormwood to fetch the keys. Then, when he reaches the throne room, he pulls a FakeDefector long enough to get Grimtrix's staff and shatter the Medusa Crystal that controls the freezing spell.
* In "The Flying Crown", while it's not hard to feel sorry for Hugo in this case, Sofia's [[PintsizedPowerhouse ability to fling a prince noticeably bigger than her off his horse]] three times is definitely amazing.
* Cedric realizing the hard way in "Cedric Be Good" that it was definitely a bad idea to steal the Amulet of Avalor from Sofia, and in turn is forced to suffer the curses it bestows upon him. LaserGuidedKarma indeed for the EvilSorcerer.
* Sure, Amber has done whatever it took to get what she wanted prior to this episode, but in "Dads and Daughters Day", it's hard not to love when she chews Hildegard out for telling her father that she wanted a Pelicants' egg. It gets better when Miss Elodie tells King Henrik off for listening to Hildegard's demands and not her warnings, causing the other dads and daughters (not including Sofia and Roland, who were not present during this) to glare at them with scorn.
* "Elena and the Secret of Avalor" has some pretty awesome moments:
** Sofia is never one to do any harm to anyone, but when she tricks everyone into dancing the sambarossa and asks Shuriki to dance, she intentionally hurts Shuriki by stomping on her foot, which is enough to make the evil queen groan and not notice the little princess take the wand out of her pocket. Even more awesome, Sofia actually had the courage to do it.
** The witnessing of Elena's freedom from the Amulet of Avalor after 41 years
** Elena's song "My Time" is awesome enough, but when she and Sofia rally all of Avalor together and they all sing a reprise, that's hard not to love.
* Prince Hugo singing like a grown man in the song "Princess Things".
* Although Amber spends most of "The Mystic Isles" being a hindrance, she comes through in the end during the confrontation with Prisma. First, she distracts Prisma while Sofia frees Azurine by appealing to Prisma's ego and goading her into giving her new amulet actual magical powers. Then when the fight breaks out and she's the only one left who can move, she uses the mirror summoning power she had just received to trap Prisma with her own spell. This gives her a chance to use the shatterstone to destroy Prisma's tera-crystal and reverse all of her magic. Also, what's noteworthy about this is how easy Amber found it to destroy the crystal, which she remarks about to Sofia after the fight. Even though it would destroy the magic amulet she had been desiring since the start of the episode, she realized that her desire was nothing compared to the suffering her new friends on the Mystic Isles were going through with the loss of their magic. She really has come a long way from the spoiled, jealous princess she used to be.
** The song "That's Not Who I Am," where Amber regains the faith and courage in herself to fight alongside Sofia. Amber's songs have never shied away from some impressive belts, and in this one Darcy Rose Brynes ''really'' gets to show her stuff in terms of both singing and voice acting.
* When Boswell refuses to let Sofia take Clover home with her, she fearlessly threatens to tell the guards and her father on him.
* When Prince Hugo tries Enchanted Ice Dancing for the first time, he turns out to be ah-mazing--it helped that he studied this sport in private.
* The "Forever Royal" SeriesFinale sends the show off on a spectacular high note; Sofia and most every one of her major friends and allies get their moment to shine, and the special includes several show-stopping group numbers like "Such a Big Day" and "For One and All."
** "For One and All" is awesome for showcasing the kind of people Sofia, Amber and James were raised to be. All three of them insist on putting their kingdom and the people in it above their own safety, openly defying their initially reluctant parents and inspiring everyone on the boat to go back to fight for the kingdom.
-->'''Roland''': Baileywick, turn this boat around!
-->'''Baileywick''': ''(saluting with the other crewmen)'' Already turned, Your Majesty.
** It says something about how far Amber has come - when Sofia flies off, she shouts that she's going with her and ''rides back to the castle on Sofia's back'', despite her father's protests. Did we mention that everyone in the castle has been imprisoned and Sofia ''is a flying horse!?''
** Minimus saving Sofia from falling off the bridge.
** When backed into a corner after Vor dragged her into the Amulet of Avalor with her, Sofia, reminded of the encouragement given by the princesses that the Amulet summoned to her aid, expels the spirit of Vor with the [[EnergyBall magical culmination]] of ''her sheer willpower''.
*** The hero/villain duet they sing during this face-off, "On Your/My Own", makes the entire scene twice as epic. What's more, compare this song to the first one of the series "I'm Not Ready to Be a Princess", and you'll see that Sofia has come a long way.
*** Before Vor can give the last blow, Sofia sees the spirits of the Disney Princesses who helped her throughout the series, who nod at her in encouragement, prompting her to [[ThePowerOfLove focus her love for her family and friends]] and channel a blast of magic to finally defeat Vor.
*** Sofia's [[PreMortemOneLiner final line]] when she finishes Vor off for good:
--->'''Sofia:''' ♫ My love will be... THE END...! OF...!!! '''''YOU!!!!!!''''' ♫
** In a last-ditch attempt to save Sofia from the Amulet, Cedric channels his magic and the energy of everyone present and succeeds in freeing both Sofia and Prisma, nearly fainting from the effort. In a more character arc-related moment, it's he who picks up the Amulet after everything and, with a bittersweet smile, returns it to its rightful owner.
** Sofia becoming a full-fledged Protector, complete with a GorgeousGarmentGeneration of an awesome new MagicalGirlWarrior outfit. You can't blame James when he says that it's brilliant.
