Awesome moments in ''Film/MeanGirls''.
----
* Points to Regina for effortlessly shrugging off one of Janis' earliest revenge schemes without even realizing that's what she's doing. Janis sneaks into the locker room while Regina is in gym, and cuts holes in her top so her bra is showing. Regina comes back, puts her shirt on, sees the holes... and then shrugs and walks out, just wearing it for the rest of the day like that. And because she doesn't make a big deal about it or get embarrassed and just continues with her day as usual, everyone assumes it's a deliberate fashion choice, and no one makes fun of her. Some even start to ''imitate'' her! The wonders confidence can do.
* Janis Ian's TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Cady is extremely satisfying. And Cady snapping back "you're the one who made me like this so you could use me for your eighth grade revenge!"
%%* Janis's epic BackhandedApology as well.
* The infamous school-wide brawl scene, also a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}.
** Special mention goes to how it ends - the nice, easygoing principal goes out into the brawl [[BatterUp with a baseball bat]] to break it up, pulls a fire alarm, and orders all the girls to get into the gym for an assembly. You get the sense this ReasonableAuthorityFigure may have finally been pushed a ''[[BewareTheNiceOnes hair]]'' too far.
---> '''Mr. Duvall:''' Oh ''hell'' no, I did ''not'' [[Film/LeanOnMe leave the South Side]] for this!
** He also looks about ready to beat the gym teacher into a pulp when he finds out he's been sleeping with teenage students. The gym teacher very wisely flees the building when Mr. Duvall catches up with him.
--->'''Mr. Duvall:''' Coach Carr, ''step away from the underage girls.''
** Regina, standing at the top of the stairs and calmly surveying the mayhem, deserves mention, too, if only for VillainousValor points.
* Janis is not well-liked for her hypocritical ways. She is also correct when telling off Regina for ruining her life because of a "lesbian" rumor, and all the girls cheer her on during the apology exercise. This also leads to the bus hitting Regina because she walks out onto the street while rejecting Cady's apologies, while we find out later contributes to Regina's HeelFaceTurn when she takes up lacrosse at her physical therapist's recommendation. So Janis accidentally helped Regina turn her life around and become a better person.
** When Janis stands up, Regina makes a snide remark about how it must be her dream to dive into a big pile of girls. Janis then caps off her BackhandedApology by claiming that she has a big lesbian crush on her. Compared to the beginning where she was scared to even talk about the rumor, it's a nice bit of character growth and proves to be the final straw that breaks Regina.
* Cady's speech at the end definitely qualifies.
** Doubles as a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}}, especially in TheMusical. "I See Stars" [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q01VcTy-XGs has Cady]] reaching everyone with the final song.
* Cady saving her group's talent show performance when Gretchen accidentally kicks off the boombox from the stage. And earlier, Damien throwing back a shoe that hit his face when he was singing.
* After nearly an hour of Regina being a bitch, it was rather satisfying for the store clerk to deadpan "You can try Sears." at her.
* You have to give Regina credit; her scheme was ''brilliant'', and it worked to perfection.
* Also Regina verbally stomping on Jason's balls for harassing Cady and blowing off Gretchen in the beginning of the movie; even if done for status purposes.
* Aaron defending Ms Norbury when she is accused of drug dealing and summing up the entire "Burn Book" controversy in one short sentence:
--> That book was written by a bunch of girls who make up stuff about people because they're fed up with their own lame lives.
* Cady also bravely owning up to writing that in front of everyone, while also being classy enough to not out Karen or Gretchen.
* Ms Norbury's brilliant line that often gets Memed as the one quote from the film everyone should remember.
--> "You have all got to stop calling each other sluts and whores. It just makes it okay for ''guys'' to call you sluts and whores."
** When Regina tries to pull a KarmaHoudini and sneak away from the meeting, claiming she's just a victim of everything, Ms. Norbury just asks everyone to hold up their hands if they've ever been personally victimized by Regina George. Near everyone raises their hands, and Regina just sinks back down to her seat.

* In TheMusical:
** March 19, 2018: Barrett Wilbert Weed (Janis) got the flu, and her two understudies didn't get the confidence of the producers. Tee Boyich, a "swing" (someone who understudies SEVERAL roles) was originally whom Jeff Richmond (the composer who was also Tina Fey's husband) went to in the workshops with new songs. She would normally understudy Cady (Erika Henningsen, though Tee had done the role of Cady in the original workshop), Gretchen (Ashley Park) and Mrs. Heron/Mrs. George/Ms. Norbury (Kerry Butler). That time, though, Tee was pressed to fill the role of "Janis" that performance (a female role she did NOT normally cover). She did a wonderful job on what was not just her Broadway Debut but also her Equity Debut [[http://www.theory-works.com/blog/3-5-hours-to-broadway-how-music-theory-helped-tee-boyich-make-her-broadway-debut with only just FOUR HOURS]] rehearsal! Many people [[https://www.facebook.com/nyksutterdowns/posts/10100653571082082 applauded]] her. A SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} was Barrett herself gave Tee [[https://www.instagram.com/p/Bh208aRDBMW/?taken-by=teeboyich a copy of the notice]] that said "At this performance, the role of JANIS SARKISIAN will be played by Tee Boyich." During episodes [[https://us.ivoox.com/en/episode-101-tee-boyich-gets-broadwaysted-audios-mp3_rf_26102530_1.html 101]] (Tee Boyich) and [[https://us.ivoox.com/en/episode-104-barrett-wilbert-weed-gets-broadwaysted-audios-mp3_rf_26482895_1.html 104]] (Barrett Wilbert Weed) of the "Broadwaysted!" podcasts both Tee and Barrett said now Tee is also the "official Janis understudy" due to that performance (Tee's contract was changed not long after her debut to reflect this).
*** Here is an Instagram [[https://www.instagram.com/p/BgkCQHDFXdB/?taken-by=ashleyparklady post]] of Tee as "Janis" after the show (and if you swipe right you'll see Tee-as-Janis taking bows).
*** She eventually got to be Cady for the April 18, 2018, and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LtxwdjIA3s here is Tee singing]] Cady's "It Roars." She's since had a least one time as Gretchen as well. No word as to whether she did Kerry's roles yet, though.
** It was also nominated for twelve categories, tying "The Producers" when IT was up for the 2001 Tonys!
* "I'd Rather Be Me", Janis' solo number in Act Two. It's basically a classy way of telling the whole school to fuck off, complete with a middle finger raised every timer she says the line "So raise your right finger".
* In an evil way, Regina's VillainSong, "World Burn".
-->My name is Regina George
-->And in case you're keeping score
-->Cady may have won the battle
-->But I will win the war.
