!!Miscellaneous and Meta

* Dumbledore averages about two literary crowning moments per chapter commentary in ''The Tales of Beedle the Bard''. Particularly his commentaries with Brutus and Lucius Malfoy, in which both of them get utterly pwned.
* The new ThemePark area at Islands of Adventure, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, is easily a crowning moment for all the designers involved as far as immersively rich detail goes, giving even the Ride/DisneyThemeParks a run for their money.
* The way everything started. A single mum who was living on thanks to food stamps, as she is riding a train, gets an idea for a kid's novel, one where the main character is a young wizard who has just discovered what he really is and that he is a hero thanks to something that happened when he was a baby. She starts writing it, taking care of her family on her own while she writes a book where she works out her idea and expands on it, and finishes the first book in five years. She presents it to several agents, and the second one she tried it with accepts it. After eight publishing houses rejected the manuscript, a publishing house by the name of Bloomsbury decided to accept it and offered the writer an advance of 2,500 pounds. Fast forward twelve years, and the book turns out to be one of the highest successes ever in history of books, bringing kids back to reading, gets six sequels as the main character (and its readers) grow up, it also gets versioned into movies which are also amongst the most successful ever, and the single mum has become one of the richest people in the world thanks to the books. If that isn't awesome, tell me what it is.
** All the publishing houses who rejected her manuscript are probably kicking themselves in the ass right now.
*** Even more amazing thing is the latter books of the series are {{Doorstopper}}s, and the kids were ''still'' lining up for them even though the books look like the kid's lit versions of ''WarAndPeace''.
** There's also [[http://web.archive.org/web/20120205111619/http://www.jkrowling.com/textonly/en/extrastuff_view.cfm?id=22 this]] awesome piece written by her where she tears apart society's obsession with thinness.
* The Weasleys, full stop. They look like an unimpressive family on the outside and don't have a really good reputation in the wizarding world, but let's take a closer look at them:
** Arthur has a lowly job at the Ministry but that's only because he loved it more than any promotion he could get, and when the second war against Voldemort starts and his preferences are not the priorities any more, he got some impressive promotions immediately.
** Molly [[spoiler: kills Bellatrix Lestrange in a duel.]]
** Bill and Charlie both got extremely risky jobs that requires really high qualifications, and both were apparently really good at it.
** Percy is able to make a quite fast career in the Ministry. It's worth noticing that, at the time, his family was associated with the two wizards the Ministry was depicting as their greatest enemies and that didn't slow him down one bit.
** Fred and George founded Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, a shop that becomes extremely successful in an extremely short time, and both of them became war heroes. [[spoiler: Sadly, only George lives to be called one.]]
** Ron, together with Hermione [[spoiler: who he married]] helped Harry through all his seven years, particullary in tracking down the Horcruxes and destroying one himself while saving Harry's life. He went on to become an Auror, mostly in spite to those who said he couldn't, than left and helped his brother George make Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes ever ''more'' successful than it already was.
** Ginny besides [[spoiler: marrying Harry]] became a succesful professional Quidditch player and then an analyst.
Keep in mind, through all the first five books the family is undergoing some deep finacial issues, but that doesn't stop Molly and Arthur from raising and sending to school no less than ''seven'' extremely competent wizards, all of whom (even Percy, despite his actions in the sixth and seventh books) are good-hearted people. They are amazing parents.
