* Ash ''finally'' gets to be awesome at the end of [=ArchKnight=]. It was worth the trouble.
** It's also possible to get one yourself through a [[GameBreakingBug massive bug]] currently present towards the end of one quest chain which causes the boss to have the same HP and damage as the ensuing [[ScaledUp Titan Dragon fight]]. Several classes can actually kill it, most notably the Doomknight class, whose Carve (HP steal) skill drains about 15% of the target's HP per swing and can regenerate completely from up to one hit per turn.
* If you choose a weapon with the right element for a certain enemy, use a powerful attack and manage to get lucky with critical hits...you can get over 2000 damage...while normal weapons with normal attacks would do 80 at that level.
* On May 18th 2011, ''[=DragonFable=]'' players were killing waves so fast THEY BROKE THE COUNTER.
* While questing to learn about Element Bacon, our character beats Death. ''Twice''.
* Warlic gets several moments in a row at the end of Nythera's betrayal quest chain. Nythera, having managed to steal Warlic's power and kill him, tries to fight the [[PhysicalGod elemental avatars]] after challenging them. She loses, is forced to admit that she is flawed, and resurrects Warlic. Warlic, once resurrected, forgives her, and then reveals that his death along with everything that followed was [[BatmanGambit part of]] [[XanatosGambit his plan]] to make her realise this without a full scale battle that would destroy reality. And then he protects her from the elemental avatars, and [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu forces them to retreat]].
--> Warlic: [[YouShallNotPass You]] [[ShoutOut Shall]] [[BestBossEver Not]] [[PurposelyOverpowered Pass!]]
* The Fire Orb saga. ''All of it.''
** The entire rematch fight against Akriloth. You can't say it's not awesome when it's one of the few bosses that let you invite ''other players'' to fight against a gigantic dragon. Not to mention you have a [[BigFuckingSword badass new sword]] for the occasion...
*** And if you fight alone, you're up against a titanic fiery draconic monster, which has up until now been an invincible juggernaut. You can still win singlehandedly, without too much difficulty. Not to mention the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOdTW4__Xcg&list=PLW5rNkwq9cWPdp3bmHwDoCvmE8IRoNW7i&index=6 guitar riff]] the whole thing is set to...
* During the Earth Orb saga, you must fight the [[{{Our Dragons Are Different}} Guardian Dragon]] on foot. You win.
** The final mission pits you against huge numbers of entropic earth monsters. Bring the right gear, and you will basically just [[OneManArmy mow all of them down without a backward glance.]]
** [=DragonLords=] get a three-way fight before that pitting them simultaneously against both Titan Trey and the Entropied Gorgok. Despite both of them [[GangUpOnTheHuman focusing on you]], you win.
* The ending of Book 1 has a quest chain that is chock-full of moments.
** Grams taking down Sepulchure's castle with bugs she trained during her time there. Remember, it's a castle on the back of an ''enormous, flying undead dracolich made out of bones'' that has never been beaten until now. She really was the best beast tamer in all of Lore.
** Drakath impaling Sepulchure ''with his own Blade of Doom''. He then tops himself by using the Ultimate Orb to fuse with Fluffy to become the dragon seen in other Artix games.
** Sepulchure's reaction afterwards. His response to being betrayed is to pull the blade out of his chest and proceed to fight against Drakath unrelentingly. The wound doesn't even slow him down. When [[EnemyMine you ally with him]] against Dragon Drakath, it turns out his attacks were powerful enough to do reasonable damage, even on foot.
** The Hero's initial fighting against Dragon Drakath. Even though it's a HopelessBossFight, the work that went into the cutscenes is palpable. The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9XbkNEwXpY&list=PLW5rNkwq9cWPdp3bmHwDoCvmE8IRoNW7i&index=46 music]] that went with it doesn't hurt either.
*** The following quest is a Titan battle against the same enemy, only this time it's winnable. What makes this different from other titan battles though is that you get to team up with [[EnemyMine Sepulchure]].
** The battle against the Super Mega Ultra Darkness Dracolich. It easily dwarfs you even with your dragon in grown form, and you still win. The combination of PreAsskickingOneLiner and ProphecyTwist also helps.
-->'''Dragon''': We were meant for this.\\
'''Player''': To save the world?\\
'''Dragon''': To destroy a planet.
* After losing two Friday the 13th wars in a row, and losing Serenity as a result in the second one, the next Friday the 13th War ("Dark Night"), the players cleared through it so fast that the boss fight wasn't finished yet.
** This is followed up in the "Black Winter" Friday the Thirteenth War. Caitiff, after studying the hero's history, empowering itself with shards of the Ultimate Orb, and with power and techniques stolen from Xan and Kathool, after stealing the World Destroyer from the hero and corrupting and enslaving it, gave the hero 13 days to defeat 13 ''million'' waves. [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome The player base cleared them with over 25 hours to spare and broke the 6060 WPM speed record set during the Frostval Plushie War of 2010 when the player base was much larger]].
*** To make this even more awesome, before the huge increase in WPM, the average WPM for an hour was around less than 1000 WPM. The playerbase went from less than 1000 WPM to over 4000 WPM in a ''very'' short amount of time, and the WPM ''just kept increasing''. And to top it all off, all this happened during skeleton hours, when the average hourly wpm is usually at its lowest. The skeleton hours player base in question being around ''a quarter'' of the player base that set the previous record makes it even more impressive.
*** What's also awesome is that in this war the playerbase ''also'' made it to 100% before the final 100% quest was ready for release.
* In the finale of the Caitiff Saga, The World Destroyer, freed from the Doom Weapon's control but still corrupted and heavily weakened, in baby form, releases a massive WaveMotionGun from its mouth to utterly wreck Caitiff's physical form beyond repair, then fights alongside the hero in the final boss fight against Catiff's true spirit body. Beforehand, a battle against Caitiff's physical form implemented a new system where Guests would switch out mid battle, allowing all of the Hero's allies to battle Caitiff alongside them. Finally, Amadeus of the Rose purifies the World Destroyer by absorbing the doom energy right out of it, revealing glimpses of a humanoid with flayed skin, horns, growths resembling Doomknight Armor, and a gaping hole in his chest in the exact same place that Sepulchure was stabbed by Drakath.
* Most recently, during the latest Halloween/Friday XIII war, the Hero fought and slew five million vampires, singlehandedly IN A SINGLE NIGHT. And then followed up with a [[BadassBoast badass boast]].
-->'''Jack''':You defeated all of my Sons of Disorder!?
-->'''Jack''':By yourself?!?!
-->'''Jack''':WHAT ARE YOU?!
-->'''Player''':I'm just a friendly neighborhood hero!
* Like the Black Winter War before, the playerbase once again beats the devs to 100% before the boss fight for the July 2018/Friday the 13th War was finished.
* The August 2020/Friday the 13th War was cleared so quickly that the cutscenes for ''both'' the halfway point and 100% weren't finished on time for their respective releases. This forced them to quickly make a placeholder cutscene with the characters asking why aren't they confronting each other yet before going back to kill more waves.
* Anytime one beats a boss (Or even better, a duo or trio of bosses) for the very first time at the Inn of the Edge of Time tends to be one, especially so if one isn't even max level or have endgame-level equipment yet.
