* The MauveShirt thieves sneak into the wedding inside baskets and then burst out with methods like kung fu moves, slicing a basket open, and sliding out with a rope when Cassim gives the signal.
* Jasmine ''punching out'' one of the forty thieves, complete with this line.
-->'''Jasmine:''' ''[[AndThisIsFor That]]'' [[AndThisIsFor was for ruining my wedding!]]
* Iago's 180 (well, maybe 150) character change, from Chaotic Neutral scoundrel to reluctant hero to Chaotic Neutral scoundrel, at the end of the Aladdin movies. Summed up well with his final line, when he throws in his lot with Aladdin's treasure-hunting father:
-->'''Iago:''' You're a good guy, Cassim. But not ''too'' good!
** Instead of fleeing when the forty thieves break up the wedding, Iago actively defends the gifts from Cassim, wielding a vase like a bat. {{Greed}} was probably his main motive, but it still takes a lot of guts to stand up to a masked man several times your size.
--->'''Iago:''' Meet your match, Franchise/{{Zorro}}!\\
'''Cassim:''' Good birdie... Polly want a little--\\
'''Iago:''' (''interrupting'') [[BerserkButton Say "cracker" and I'll let you have it on]] ''[[BerserkButton principle!]]''
** This one is even better in the Swedish dub, where the last line is: "Say 'cracker' and you'll never see the sun rise again!"
* When Aladdin finds Cassim, he's also captured by the Forty Thieves. Here's the problem; if Cassim shows Aladdin mercy, he'll look soft in the eyes of his men, but he doesn't want to kill his long-lost son. So, he convinces them to give Aladdin a fighting chance, and not by outright saying it. He ''dithers'' over the subject, dragging it out so much that everyone, even his loudest critic Sa'luk becomes interested in this Third Option Cassim is mulling over. Being a GuileHero must run in the family.
* Aladdin's battle with Sa'luk. [[NightmareFuel It's dark, they're literally on the edge of a cliff, it's strongly implied that Sa'Luk got a good slash on Aladdin's arm]], yet it's nothing short of extraordinary when one considers Aladdin ''survived''.
** Not only does he survive, but despite that Sa'luk is bigger and stronger, Aladdin has the advantage of being swifter and smarter.
* Sa'luk not only surviving what first seemed like a standard DisneyVillainDeath, but also ''killing a shark while in the water'' was pretty badass.
* Cassim finally getting the hand of Midas. With his cape turned to dazzling gold, the first thing he does with it is turn the whole ''temple'' gold.
* During the 40 Thieves' raid on the wedding in the beginning, while Aladdin is facing the King, the rest of the gang starts making progress against the raiders. Then Genie steps in and single-handedly chases them off. His power may be reduced to semi-phenomenal, nearly cosmic, but even Sa'luk [[KnowWhenToFoldEm didn't want to fight the Genie]].
-->'''Sa'luk:''' Cassim said nothing about facing the powers of a genie! [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere Get the others out of here!]] We'll leave the king to his plan...
* While the Genie was obviously overreacting, it was amazing to see how far he was willing to go to ensure that Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding went well without anyone causing trouble like in the beginning of the movie. Not to mention that Genie immediately went on the defensive when Cassim introduced himself as the King of Thieves. Genie was willing to protect Aladdin from what he initially viewed as a threat to Aladdin's safety.
* To save his son's life, Cassim throws the Hand of Midas to Sa'luk, who catches it ''by the golden hand''. Sa'luk proceeds to claim it's his and also Aladdin's life now... but Cassim doesn't feel the need to dignify this with a response; '''[[FateWorseThanDeath he knows he's already won]]'''.
** It must be said that this, just like when Cassim caught the Hand with his cape (as mentioned above), is a sign of his guile--it's a good sign of how he took control of the thieves back then, and he proves it here because he ''knows'' that Sa'luk will make the fatal mistake of catching it with his hand (which most people will attempt, rather than using their brains like him). Suddenly it makes sense that the violent BloodKnight (implicitly) lost leadership from him, and it parallels [[LikeFatherLikeSon his son's cunning defeat of Jafar in the first movie—we know where he gets his wits from now]].
** Added to this is that Aladdin, intentionally or not, added to this by kicking Sa'luk's foot since it knocked him off-balance, making it more likely he'd catch the Hand with his hand.
* Razoul gets a few moments in this movie, while still being a {{Jerkass}}:
** He's personally overseeing all of the guests coming into the wedding. The man may not like the groom, but he cares about his people's safety. It's a shame that Cassim was dressed as a wealthy trader.
** When his men are outnumbered by the Forty Thieves and curb-stomped, he orders them to their posts and to fight anyway. Heck, he even charges on on thief head-on and merely gets the wind knocked out of him.
** While trusting Sa'Luk was an IdiotBall move on his part, we see that he had the sense to take a retinue of men to the hideout. After his second-in-command gets the password correct, Razoul gives a smirk. Later, there's a cut that the dozen or so men captured thirty-one of the seven thieves. No small feat, given how they were beaten earlier!
** Later, Sa'Luk informs them that Aladdin's father is the King of Thieves. Razoul knows that arresting Aladdin is no good, and [[EveryoneHasStandards he doesn't want to since Aladdin wouldn't want his own wedding threatened]]. Instead, he has men posted outside the room where the gifts are being stored and catches Cassim in the act of stealing the Oracle. When Cassim tries to grab a sword, Razoul reveals his men are armed with arrows, forcing the man to surrender. Aladdin has no response when Razoul reveals that Cassim hadn't changed at all and he broke the law, as well as SacredHospitality. Razoul at least doesn't blame Aladdin for what happened, putting all the blame on Cassim and his "accomplice" Iago.
** He also catches who he thinks is the King of Thieves frolicking around the palace. Razoul is put out to learn that it was Aladdin wearing his father's cloak but says he's reporting the "Prince of Thieves" to the Sultan.
* When Sa'luk tries to manipulate the other thieves who escaped arrest into joining him, they initially aren't having any of it and attack him. This is a good awesome moment for the thieves, but it pales next to Sa'luk's response. He [[CurbStompBattle casually beats all of them up single-handedly]] while singing a catchy VillainSong that gradually wins them back to his side.
* The scene where Aladdin dresses like his father to distract the guards to buy some time for Cassim and Iago to escape the dungeon.
-->'''Aladdin:''' We don’t have much time. While the guards chase me, you get out.\\
'''Cassim:''' I can’t let you—\\
'''Aladdin:''' Forget it. They can’t catch me. (''Tosses Cassim the keys to the dungeon then leaves'')\\
'''Cassim:''' [[LikeFatherLikeSon He even]] ''[[LikeFatherLikeSon sounds]]'' [[LikeFatherLikeSon like me.]]
* The scene where Aladdin and Cassim have their falling out is both sad and as well as awesome. Aladdin would rather spend his life in prison than allow Jasmine to endure the pain of him leaving her. It is probably the most mature thing Aladdin has said as well as done in the whole series.
** Iago also deserves a mention in this scene. When Aladdin starts to head back to Agrabah to face the consequences of his actions, Iago stays with him. It doesn't even to occur to him to leave with Cassim until Aladdin gives him permission, and even then, he asks for confirmation before flying off. That's right, Iago was willing to go back with Aladdin, where for all he knew he would be soon be sharing a dungeon cell with him.
* Aladdin's noble decision to save his father from Sa'luk despite his father's selfish actions.
-->''(Iago screams as he falls out from the sky bouncing off Carpet. Jasmine catches him)''\\
'''Iago''': (''out of breath'') Al's...dad...Sa'luk!\\
'''Jasmine''': Just take a deep breath, Iago. Now what about Aladdin's father?\\
'''Iago''': It's Sa'luk, the guy Al beat! He's NOT beat! He's ''back!'' And he's got Cassim!\\
'''Aladdin''': That's ''his'' problem! He chose to go back to that life!\\
'''Genie''': Al, I know your dad made a lot of bad choices--but that doesn't mean ''you'' have to.\\
'''Jasmine''': He is your father. [[ArmorPiercingQuestion How can you do anything else?]]\\
'''Aladdin''': (''beat'') [[LikeFatherLikeSon I'm being as stubborn as he was]]... (''Al sulks for a moment...then, after a pause, he turns back with a bold grin'') Show me the way!\\
(''Jasmine, Abu, Iago, and Genie smile grandly'')
* The assault on the Seven Thieves at the Vanishing Isle:
** Genie turns into Rambo and starts firing a machine gun at them. It's only that they hit the floor that no one is injured.
** Abu, Jasmine, and Carpet confront the Seven Thieves. The latter smirk and prepare to assault the group. Jasmine steps aside and gestures for Carpet to do the initial honors. Carpet rams into the thieves, knocking the wind out of several. Jasmine then dives in and starts punching them out. She later uses the temple statues on the Isle to take some of the thieves out of the fight. It cuts after to them retreating back to the ship. ActionGirl to the end, and a thinker.
* The Sultan's TakeAThirdOption towards the end. He knows his son-in-law and daughter just saved Cassim from a FateWorseThanDeath, and Cassim did try stealing from him twice. Instead of imprisoning Cassim, he lets the man attend the third wedding, with a promise of good behavior and commutes his and Iago's sentence to exile. That's pretty reasonable, especially with Iago mentioning that he said goodbye to everyone, including the Sultan.
