* Adult Swim acquiring and releasing "Dexter's Rude Removal" (a BannedEpisode of ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'' that, until recently, was considered an urban legend...or at least only available at animation conventions) to the public.
* Jon Hamm and Adam Scott's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN1bmTI5qjg shot-for-shot remake]] of the ''Series/SimonAndSimon'' opening credit sequence from ''The Greatest Event in Television History''. It must be seen to be believed.
* Their idea for [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py-9UK8kakk April Fool's Day 2012]] (which can also count as a [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments CMOH]]). Three words: ''Creator/{{Toonami}}'s [[BackFromTheDead back]], [[{{Uncanceled}} bitches.]]''
** ''[[Anime/DragonBallZKai Dragon Ball Z Kai]]'' has been doing so well on Toonami that it eventually convinced the higher ups to give the show an encore airing during regular [adult swim] hours, starting off the block at 8:00 PM. They also tried the same thing with ''Manga/OnePiece'' at 8:30 PM, though that one didn't work out due to bad timing and ratings. As of May 2nd, two episodes are aired every Saturday night to lead off, not Toonami, but Adult Swim.
* Following the pre-emption of the ''WesternAnimation/{{Squidbillies}}'' pilot with the pilot for ''WesternAnimation/PerfectHairForever'', Adult Swim aired [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDN33J0lSos this.]] Doubles as a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}.
* Their [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j28y2S4IyA sign-off]] that plays just before it switches back to Creator/CartoonNetwork, a mix of SceneryPorn and almost nostalgia to older fans that remember the days of the sign-off, combined with [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic a distorted version of "The Star-Spangled Banner".]]
* Adult Swim letting anyone pitch shows or show their work to the heads of comedy development at the network as part of their show ''Development Meeting''.
** As of May 2020, they now have results. The Infomercial/pilot ''[[https://www.adultswim.com/videos/infomercials/skeleton-landlord Skeleton Landlord]]'' was the first project pitched on the show to make it to air.
* In addition to airing on Toonami, ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'' started airing reruns on July 2nd, 2018 to replace ''WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow'' and ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill'', the first time that [adult swim] has decided to air anime outside of Saturday nights in over a decade.
** HistoryRepeats, with ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'' having joined the weekday lineup as of late April 2020. Even if it's not the best slot ever (5:30 AM), it (along with ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'' over the Summer of 2018) still marks the return of anime outside of Saturday.
* The departure of ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' in September 2021 struck a considerable blow to Adult Swim in terms of scheduling and revenue. It seemed rather unlikely the network would ever receive anything else from Disney, with ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'' set to expire in 2023 as well. So, what does Adult Swim do to compensate for one of the biggest losses in their history? ...against all odds, they brought back classic, previously expired Fox favorites ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill'' and - quite shockingly, after a 14 year absence - ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}''.
