!!Animal Character Developmental Process Anthropomorphic Shifts

With some animal characters, an AnthropomorphicShift occurs as they grow and develop. Often, they grow more anthropomorphic, but sometimes the inverse can occur. If the animal character is not that humanoid to begin with, then they become more distinctly anthropomorphic as they grow and develop.

With female characters that become more anthropomorphic as they grow, they often develop NonMammalMammaries.

* Baby Po in ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda2'' is a NearlyNormalAnimal (or at least seems that way), unlike his adult form, which is a FunnyAnimal.

[[folder: Western Animation ]]

* Inverted with the ''Tyrannosaurus rex'' and ''Daspletosaurus'' in ''WesternAnimation/DinosaurTrain''; adult ones stand more like their real counterparts, but juvenile ones stand more upright and have plantigrade feet.
* In ''WesternAnimation/BabyLooneyTunes'' the cast are a bunch of {{Funny Animal}}s, but adult Lola is more humanoid than baby Lola.
* A {{Flashback}} in the ''WesternAnimation/HeathcliffAndTheCatillacCats'' episode, "Debutante Ball" shows Cleo and her friend Muffy as non-anthro kittens... with Cleo still sporting her full head of blonde hair.
* Kitty Katswell in ''WesternAnimation/TUFFPuppy'' is a FunnyAnimal like most of the male animal characters, but her adult self is more humanoid in shape.
