A very awesome prank call gone meme made by the famous internet podcast Painkiller Already, hosted by Woodys Gamertag, FPS Kyle (FPS Russia), and Wingsof Redemption. Its Wikipedia page was taken down, probably because of the name.

Works Pages Are A Free Launch

I think it was taken down because it's not "notable" and not because of its name (there's a policy on Wikipedia that states that "Wikipedia" doesn't do censorship).

There Is No Such Thing As Notability here; but does it have tropes? ("Being a Meme" is not a trope.)

^I was talking about the Wikipedia article. Of course I know that There Is No Such Thing As Notability!

While There Is No Such Thing As Notability, we do do censorship, although only of actual porn and pedophilia. More importantly, we don't do works without tropes. A "prank call gone meme" doesn't sound like something with tropes.

^I know nothing about this show, but 2 seconds spent doing a google search and I could find that apparently it uses Asian Speekee Engrish. I don't know why you'd expect prank calls to not have tropes.

@Karjam: I realize that, I was trying to support/expand upon your statement. A ykttw about "this awesome meme thing" doesn't tell me that there are any tropes involved. The fact that the OP lists no tropes doesn't tell me that there are any either. But apparently there's one trope.

If someone familiar with it adds some tropes, and Wiki Magic breathes life into it, it lives. If not, it dies. Simple as that.

In my personal opinion, things should have some notability to have their own page, otherwise in this case it should just stay on a Memetic Mutation page.

You guy aren't helping anything by whining about why we shouldn't have this page. It's a piece of media, and there's no such thing as notability. Unless, by some insane fluke, it doesn't use even the bare minimum of 3 tropes, there's no reason not to have a page for it. Either spend a few minutes watching some of it and think of some tropes to add, or find something better to do.

But, what is it? It's a prank call?

It doesn't actually need any tropes to launch, but it still needs to be a work of fiction. Or of non-fiction. What is this?

^ yes it needs tropes. Work pages without tropes tend to get cut.

I mean, if it's a legit work, you could launch it and let the tropes come later, right? I've done that at least once, and other people built on the page.

Pages without the minimum three tropes get cut as stubs when someone notices them.

There's also the question of which namespace to use, although that only becomes relevant if enough genuine tropes are found to justify a page on this (and if it doesn't violate our content policy--though I admit it's unlikely that a prank call qualifies as porn).

And no, I'm not going to bother to watch it. The people who want a page on this are the ones who have to come up with tropes. I have zero interest either way.
