Alice has finally had enough at the workplace, and she's complaining to Bob about what a low-life, cheapskate slimeball her boss is. Wait, why is Bob frantically trying to cut her off--

The boss is right behind her, isn't he?

This trope, often seen in Work Coms, is when someone decides to vent a little by talking smack about his or her boss, not realizing that the boss in question can hear everything s/he's saying.

Usually, this leads to a lot of trouble for the Employee.
