Do We Have This One? I kept seeing it in media and figured I'd post it here to garner some examples.

When a character claims that something (usually red ringed eyes) is due to allergies, when in relity it's caused by something else.

It can be either:

Type A: When it's because of some harmful substance like drugs or alcohol, and the character doesn't want anyone to know they've been taking them.

or Tybe B: When it's because they were crying and don't want others to know. (See Sand In My Eyes)
