Unusually Uninteresting Fluff News

A bizarre story is treated like a fluff news story.

Humans are pretty adaptable. So much so, they seem to take the most bizarre circumstances in stride after a while. It often leads to pretty odd "fluff" news items.

Seen It a Million Times.

Examples:
  • Megamind. After Megamind takes over Metro City, Roxanne introduces a fluff news item, "Are you ready to be a slave army? What you need to know."
  • The Simpsons. This happens a lot with Kent Brockman, such as this casual line when he thinks alien insects will become the Earth's overlords: "I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves."

The Chronicle was about a fantastic tabloid paper covering aliens, vampires, goatsuckers, etc... whose stories all turned out to be true. The editing team still photoshops images for that added tabloid flavor though.

Too much like Kent Brickman News and Unusually Uninteresting Sight. It is just a combination of two tropes with no distinct details that are exclusive to it alone.
