I Didn't Do It For You

A character says 'I didn't do it for you' when thanked by another character.

Trope
Sometimes said by characters who feel particularly angry or sore over something (usually towards the thanker), but not nessecarily. The one doing the thanking may simply be full of him/herself, or the one being thanked could genuinely be doing what he/she does for another, usually morally righteous cause.

Also commonly said by the Jerk With A Heart of Gold to make him/her seem more selfish than he/she really is.
