A character that makes a serious habit of traveling between multiple parts of the The Multiverse

  • Trope Namer is Planescape. While it is perfectly possible to contain a campaign to Sigil, the setting is built with the idea of the P Cs being such.
  • Gilgamesh of the Final Fantasy series is able to be the one recurring character in the Non-Linear Sequel based series by nature of his banishment to the Interdimensional Rift. Indeed, he is brought into Dissidia's sequel not by the events that summon the other characters, but through a portal like his other appearance.
  • Culex of Super Mario RPG travels to the Mushroom Kingdom to conquer it (or at least for Blood Knight purposes), but leaves when he finds out he can not survive in it. Before he returns to his world of Vanda, he seeks to fight Mario, as the plumber is his world's "strongest knight". The Amazing Technicolor Battlefield he is fought in even looks like the Interdimensional Rift.
