Please assist in gathering more subtropes for this index.

How is it the opposite of anatomy tropes?

Anatomy is about the physical form and structure of an organism's body. Physiology is about the functions and activities of said body. They are opposite and yet complementary subdisciplines of biology and medicine.

Would the various tropes dealing with unrealistic rates of aging belong here?

^ Maybe. What do you have in mind?

Also related to many Pregnancy Tropes.

Please add what you said in your comment about the difference between anatomy and physiology to the index description.

I think is long overdue for launching. Hats, please?

IMO only the first two would actually count; the others would at the most only occasionally be of actual biological nature (let alone specifically physiological).

And just as a reminder, the current trope-launching system mandates having a a net balance of 5 hats before a trope can be launched.

    Hat.

Thanks. (And for the record, it's pure coincidence that I checked this draft a mere minute after your post.)

... Come on, guys. At least tell me if there's something that needs to be done before you would give a hat.

Thanks, whoever you are that gave the third hat.

Bumping for either 2 more hats or suggestions for improvement.

Would My Blood Runs Hot count?

    MarqFJA
Yeah, I think so. Adding until someone points out a good reason to not include it.

I need suggestions on brief descriptions of each trope, in the same vein as some indexes that I've come across.

Dunno if Cast From Hit Points or at least Cast From Calories would count (apparently you can use your health or nutrients to fuel spells...)

I think Cast From Calories counts, since it directly references a physiological function.

Now at five hats. Just want some feedback on the trope descriptions I've written. Also, you notice that the colons are gone; it's because I've replaced them with backslashes (see Text Formatting Rules), but apparently they don't work in the Trope Launch Pad. They should work fine once the trope is launched.

^ use 2 backslashes instead of one each

    Oh, I thought I used 2.

... And it's still not working. Anyway, since it seems that nobody has issue with the trope descriptions, I'll be launching this by tomorrow if nothing comes up.
