Do we have this one? It's a videogame trope, where a highly directional beam of light (sometimes identified as a laser) shines from one point toward a valve, mirror, or other light-redirecting device. The player must adjust the valves to shine the light on a receptor to open a door to the next area. The light may be free-standing or in conduits along the wall or floor, and may do damage if free-standing. There may be other receptors; shining the light on them typically unlocks bonus goodies. Up for Grabs.
Hello, Unknown Troper. You'll need to get known to lend a hand here.
