These days, products made for women, especially girls, are increasingly more often going to be pink. Whether it's toys, clothes, school supplies, phones, backpacks, etc., what is meant for girls will more than likely be pink. Many people these days find this an almost insulting attitude, as if saying the color of the product is the sole turn off from women buying it, implying they can be that shallow. And while it might help sales in some case, it doesn't always work, as what makes people not buy them is something that changing the color doesn't solve.
