Basically, this is when an actor/writer/director/producer etc is strongly associated with a particular trope such that it appears in most or all of that person's works. For this trope to apply, the person in question has to be associated with this trope somewhat more frequently than would be normal. Obviously, broad categories like Romantic Comedy aren't very good examples for this trope as its not uncommon for a creator/performer to be strongly associated with a particular genre. Likewise, this trope should not be about associating a person with a subjective trope like Made Of Win, Crowning Moment Of Awesome, or So Bad Its Horrible.

This trope is named after it's usage on this very board (which is derived from early sayings such as "If you're so in love with [place/thing/concept] then why don't you marry it?).
