Certain animals such as dogs and bears have wet shiny noses right? Well in media this can include cats, rodents, bugs even clowns may have a shiny nose particularly in cartoons.

Cartoons in particular use noses as gag item, shiny noses can be squeezed, pulled or some characters can defy physics and stick their hands up there.

• Scooby Doo the movie A live action example, Scooby Doo, upon being picked up by a giant Scrappy sticks his hands or rather paws up his nose, there is then a cartoony squelching noise as Scooby pulls at Scrappy's boogers.

• Rudolph the red nose reindeer The 90's version with Whoopi Goldberg. Rudolph is portrayed throughout media with a shiny red nose, in this animated film his nose is very shiny, he sneezes alot and Rudolph can shoot a glowing beam or laser out of his nose.

Western Animation

• Oggy and the Cockroaches Oggy and his housemate Jack have shiny noses, there are numerous scenes where a character squeezes pulls or tries to go up Oggy's nose.

In one episode whilst baby-sitting Jack's baby daughter she pulls squeezes and even smooshes it flat! In a rainforest Oggy has a daydream of spaghetti attacking him in reality its an anteater sticking its tongue up his nose. Frequently the cockroaches go up Oggy's nose and even pull it off his face like a clown nose.

• Bonkers Bonkers the bobcat has red shiny nose, a lobster even pinches it in one episode.

• Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy This cartoon is goldmine for shiny noses, Saliva, clowns, Bosco, squirrels and many more creatures of the mammalian kind have shiny noses, Mandy even squeezes her clown nose in Attack of the clowns with a resulting squeak.

• Fairly odd parents Again like Grim adventures this is also a goldmine, many mammalian characters have shiny noses.

• T.U.F.F Puppy Dudley has a big shiny nose, in one scene Kitty is seen shoving/pulling a Nickelodeon bone up or out of his nose.In one episode when Dudley is skunked all of T.U.F.F get colds and have shiny clown noses.

• Garfied see Odie and Binky the clown

• Looney toons and its spin offs. Various such as Taz, Dizzy, Taz's family, Baby Sylvester, Lil Sneezer and so on.

• Sonic at the other end of the spectrum sonic and his friends have very small shiny noses.
