I know we already have a Seven Deadly Sins page, but I was wondering if it might not bear expanding on this one, as it is more often than not the Achilles' Heel, Fatal Flaw, or otherwise mistake many characters end up making along a given story.

    Especially prevalent in Greek Myth, where the Gods lay the smack down on any Puny Humans who think they're as good as them.

    I'm not sure Icarus quite factors into this, at least I always interpreted him as reckless rather than prideful. Medusa and Arachne are probably closer fits, as (in one version of each's tale) they boasted about their beauty and weaving ability being better than Aphrodite and Athena's, respectively. One got turned into a gorgon, the other into a spider.
