In the event of a Gender Bender or Gender Flip, it is common for the girl to have blond hair and fair skin, even if the boy had dark hair and skin. This is to an extent Truth in Television, because females generally do have lighter pigmentation because, during pregnancy, lighter skin and hair causing the absorption of vitamins from the suns rays. This can also coincide with the female being "lighter" as in more feminine, less aggressive, and nicer than the male version, however this trope just refers to skin and hair pigment.
