What about Freud Was Right? Granted, most of his theories were about psychology, but most of them, however insane, were partly philosophical.

I think you'd have to define exactly what can be on this index. A lot of tropes could be considered philosophical. Please avoid giving too detailed an answer, but how does Safe Sane And Consensual qualify as a philosophical trope by any feasibly strict definition?

Started Psychology Tropes and added Freud Was Right to both for now... nunno if it belongs in either, hwoever... Freud's teachings was philosophy, and they was important for thetting the field of psychology started back in teh days... but the trope is more limited then that. I'll give it some thought. As for Safe Sane And Consensual, it's an ethical principle, one of the answers to ''why something is moral or immoral.

Some of these seem only tenuously related to philosophy, which is admittedly a wide-open subject. I'm not sure if it matters if it's just for an index, but it would probably be a more helpful index if it only had things that are generally thought of as "philosophy", because otherwise it could get too cluttered. I'd omit any trope there if it's technically philosophy but better described as a trope of social science or similar area of study like psychology, sociology, ethics, law, politics, etc.

Nietzsche Wannabe certainly belongs in this index, if launched. And probably also Contemplate Our Navels.

Pruned a bit, and added some others. Morality Tropes and Psychology Tropes are indeed their own indexes: Some tropes should be listed in this as well as one of those, but many should stay in one of them.
