Killer Nurse

Exactly What It Says on the Tin: a fighter with a medical theme, that actively hurts people.

  • The Yu-Gi-Oh TCG has Injection Fairy Lily. a nurse with a huge needle.
  • Meddy from Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Protoman. She throws bombs shaped like pills, and looks like nurse.
  • Katekyo Himan Reborn has Dr. Shamal. He is a doctor assassin who kills people by infecting them with terminal diseases.

Should We Have This One??

In Seska's reprogrammed version of Voyager the holographic doctor loves to hurt people instead of healing them. I particularly remember when he injects acid into our heroes instead of medicine. Ouch.

Fans of Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory use the term "rambo medic" to refer to a typically-skilled medic class character who heals only themselves and uses the class's higher HP and auto-regeneration to enable them to rush into combat with normal guns and get lots of kills.

Faust of Guilty Gear fame is a nine-foot-tall doctor who weilds a scalpel as big as he is, wears a paper bag over his head with a single eye-hole, and spends most of the time crouched so low he's the shortest character ingame. Guilty Gear as a whole is made of I Am Not Making This Up ...

I can't help but think that while Catherine off of Gregory Horror Show doesn't fit the trope as described initially (since she's not a fighter), she should. A nurse with a blood taking fetish and a syringe as big as she is. And she's a 6 foot tall pink lizard.

Bloody Roar 2 had a volunteer nurse who transformed into a pink bunny (complete with nurse's uniform) as part of the cast. Not exactly intimidating - 'till she kicks you so hard you rebound off of 3 walls.

Elle Driver disguised herself as a nurse in Kill Bill in order to carry out a hit on The Bride with a poison syringe, only to have her mission canceled by Bill himself. As Elle despises the Bride, she does not take it well.

there are nurse Elite Mooks with giant needles or scalpels in Viewtiful Joe...

the Doctor (that was his nickname, at least. He really was a doctor, but I forgot his real name) in Yu Yu Hakusho, who could basically cut you to pieces with his bare hands. Kind of. I think.

Technically, Hanataro Yamada from Bleach (especially the game Shattered Blade). His sword actually heals people... until it gets, um, full. Then he's able to activate his ridiculously powerful bankai (even though I think it's not his actual bankai), one of the most powerful in the game. Also, during his bankai, his zanpakuto becomes a scalpel.

The "Angel of Death" (a doctor or nurse) is a relatively common type of serial killer, so Truth In Television applies here.

A certain mystery-horror anime called... Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

If someone finds out a better way to word that, you are welcome. I mean, Giving out the title and then blocking the cahracter's name qould be pointless because there's only one nurse on the show.

@Eponymous Kid: The scalpel and energy blast is Hanataro's shikai, not his bankai.

In the Pokemon games, Blissey is often known in Tournament Play as a special wall that just won't die, but she has her share of good Special Attacks too--especially in the 4th generation attack split. The anime mirrored this once by having her pre-evolved form Chansey(usually helping out the Nurse Joys, and this one is no exception) actually defeat one of Ash's Pokemon in Battle Frontier.O_O

@The Adversary: "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni has plenty of perfectly nice people infected with the Hate Plague and killing one another in various disturbing ways, but nurse Takano Miyo always seems to be the first to go. Still, further and further into the show, she seems just as creepy as the infected person of the month if not more so. Then comes The Reveal, in which she engineered the whole thing and plans to slaughter the whole town and turn over the virus to military researchers who could use a squad of paranoid people willing to listen to lies and kill their friends..." That work?
