Possibly a way of Getting Crap Past The Radar, or maybe I'm just imagining things. You know all those times in Western Animation where someone calls a female character a "witch," and then fans joke, due to context and accent, they clearly had another label in mind? The one that sounds like "witch" but starts with a B?

An amulet-possessed Sam calling Paulina a "shallow little witch" on Danny Phantom
"Terra." "Raven." "Traitor!" "Witch!"
Any time Scrooge McDuck calls Magica de Spell "You witch!" or "That witch!" This has even come up in Fan Fiction.
