Reasons to rename:

• Trope namer is not an example of the trope.
• If you don't know what the reference was indended to mean, the name is opaque. There is nothing to indicate a form of appeal to authority through quotation or shame by association, or confounded expectations beween quote and source.

Reasons not to rename:

• Wicks (31) and inbound links (95 since 20th FEB '09) aren't stellar, but they aren't pathetically low either.
