Rage Against the Machine

  • Appearance: A green, pixel-like smiley face. It changes to match the user's emotions.

  • Abilities: User can use this Stand to enter various electronic devices and act as a sort of surveillance or spy system so he can look around nearby areas. Stand can be used on things like televisions, radios, phones, computer monitors and even display systems on bus shelters or transportation hubs. Stand can also travel the internet and gather data and the like. However it is not truly perfect. RATM's appearance is pretty obvious enough if noticed, and if the user shrinks the smiley his ability to survey will be diminished accordingly. How he can survey also changes depending on what the Stand interfaces with. A TV or monitor on one hand allows the Stand and user to look around the room he's in and hear a little bit. Radios and phones on the other hand allow for excellent hearing but no visual output whatsoever. Furthermore if the user interfaces with a computer and hits a virus, he will be badly hurt.

Name: Final Countdown
  • Appearance: Inspired by a scene in The Simpsons episode Sweet Seymour Skinner's Badasssss Song, the stand is a giant, hairy tarantula, biting the base of the target's neck
  • Ability: When the user views a petty or callous action, they send their stand, which incessantly whispers at them to feel guilty, and as it does, 20 small flames appear around the target's throat, over a span of 20 seconds for minor actions, and up to 20 minutes for malicious and evil actions. If they don't feel guilty or try to repent, a flame appears inside their throat at the end of the coundown, suffocating them and knocking them unconscious where they are for minor infractions, or burning their throat for major ones and up to actually killing them for their lack of remorse for major sins like murder, rape, etc. The size of the flame mirrors the size of the infraction.
  • The user is a college student interested in social justice. However, he doesn't really like his stand, as he doesn't find it his place to judge, considering he doesn't know all the good and bad someone has done in their life.

Bad Moon Rising

Appearance: This Stand at first would seem to be a roaming monk, wearing the traditional black robes often associated with the humble travellers. However, when the obscuring hood is lifted, the face underneath is completely blank.

Abilities:

Ley line Corruption: Bad Moon Rising is not a combat efficient Stand, but still has the potential to be extremely dangerous. This Stand lets the user see Ley Lines in a given area, and can be dispatched as an automatic Stand to corrupt them. Once Bad Moon Rising traverses at least half of a Ley Line it becomes corrupted; the effects of the corruption can vary. Generally, areas become somewhat imposing at first, people grow agitated quickly, animals avoid settling there, and there's an increase in minor trouble. The more Ley Lines that are corrupted though, the worse everything gets.

Once enough Ley Lines are corrupted Bad Moon Rising can even go after points where multiple Ley Lines connect. If enough of these nexuses of power are corrupted then it wouldn't be out of the question to see things like horrific natural disasters, or even Biblical plagues befall an area.

Bad Moon Rising needs to work uninterrupted to actually corrupt a Ley Line, and if destroyed any attempted corruption reverts, although the Stand merely returns to its user. If this happens, the user will be aware that the attempt has been unsuccessful, but not of any particular circumstance behind the failure. Ley Lines that have been corrupted can bleed off the negative energy, the speed of which depends on whether other Ley Lines it has been connected to are also befouled. Killing the user undoes all the corruption nearly instantaneously, leading to "miraculous" recoveries of the areas affected.

Although Bad Moon Rising can move unimpeded due to its non-corporeal nature, it can still be attacked and "killed", although it can take quite a bit of a beating. As far as actual power goes, it's weaker than your average person, and only roughly as fast. Due to this its work can take some time to accomplish. If left unchecked though, the secondary nature of Bad Moon Rising's powers can bring anything from particular neighbourhoods to entire cities to their knees.

Name: Take Five
  • Appearance: Humanoid, with four additional hands coming out of each wrist, at 90 degrees from each other. Slim, but with muscular thighs, pecs and shoulders. Takes on an effeminate pose that looks like shrugging and pouting. The user can partially manifest this stand by bringing out those additional hands from his own wrists.
  • Abilities:
    • Time Out - Bench Warmer: Can temporarily shut off something it is in contact with (an ability, electronics, etc) for five seconds. Can't be used to kill or knock someone out.
    • Time Out - Injury Time: Can steal an object's speed for five seconds, then return it up to five minutes later, after that object has already returned to full speed.
    • Time Out - Penalty Box: Can shift an object/person it touches to a point that it was within the last five hours. It's refractory period is equal to the amount of time shifted. Anyone who sees this power being used is aware of it, and isn't predestined to have the same experiences. Anyone else experiences deja vu.
      • Ejection - Penalty Box can be used on the planet itself to reverse time, but doing this blocks off all of the stand user's abilities for the refractory period (effectively, the Stand can't do anything until the time it used Ejection). The user only recalls "I used Ejection today...", but no one else recalls anything. I realize after reading part 4 that this is similar to Killer Queen Bites The Dust.
    • Instant Replay: Can turn one physical attack into five in a series, by jumping the attack back a fraction of a second, five times.
  • As is the norm with time powers, this is the power of a Big Bad.

  • Abilities:

      • Only works on nonliving matter
    • Secondary ability gained by additional Arrow-strike: Blow Your Mind, heightens all the senses of the target to the point that their mind can't process all the extra information it's receiving, making them pass out/get a headache or nosebleed/other responses to extreme stress.

Name: The Third Hand
  • Appearance: a small child with a jetpack, and a spider monkey tail ending in a giant left hand.
  • Ability/Abilities: He can expel things from his tail hand that the original The Hand has "disappeared", finally solving the long-standing question of where those things go. However, this means that he only has limited "ammo", which the user is aware of.
    • Clean Living: a mouth on the hand opens up that returns objects (or wind) that were expelled from it, so long as that object hasn't been destroyed by an outside force.
    • Breezeblock: Can form an air pulse or blade, using the air that The Hand vacuumed up. Since it's just air, it can easily be recovered, and effectively has infinite ammo.
    • Ring Finger: Coats the ring finger on the tail hand with heavy materials that were absorbed, for a heavy jab/flick.
    • Shot In The Dark: presumably, main universe Okuyasu and his brother trained together. This can summon anything up to a small platoon of the soldiers, a pair of tanks and a helicopter. Okuyasu usually just has the foot soldiers shoot from the "trenches", under the fingernails. He doesn't send troops out into "the field", because if they die, it'd be like killing off his connection to his main universe brother.
    • Making Days Longer: A strong length of rope made from a couple of strands of Yukako's hair emerges from the mouth of the hand, which can be used as a whip, tying cord, etc. Remember, Yukako's hair grows and is strong enough to crush a house.
    • Smoke And Mirrors: Burning threads from the hair of the Class President. Limited ammo, but generally one is enough to start a small fire.
    • The Colossus: can turn itself into a golem made of the various items in its inventory. As of now, its appearance is a lanky, tall humanoid, with a short tail, but metal lower legs and forearms, extendable upper legs and arms made from Yukako's hair, and a head on fire.

Lock Stock (Named after both the Vinnie Jones movie Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and the Roger Miller song "Lock Stock and Teardrops"

  • Appearance: Traditional humanoid male, wears what looks like mediaeval versions of British police armour and such. Has two guns on each arm that change depending on what range its aiming, from needle guns to Stinger missile launchers.

  • Abilities: Infinite ammo gunfire that can increase its range of fire and hit targets from great distances away, moreso than a sniper rifle. Can alter its range. However its power decreases the more it increases its distance. When hitting a target very far away, the pain the target will feel amounts to no more than a pin prick, whereas at point blank, it is as if they were struck by a train. Thankfully the speed of Lock Stock's bullet when fired a great distance still lets it potentially damage glass and other structures to cause shrapnel damage or distractions due to velocity. Experienced Stand users (Like, for example, Jotaro) can deal with mid range shots easily though.

Name: Flagpole Sitta

  • Appearance: When the other senses are "turned off", an item relevant to that sense will appear on the body part, like a blindfold on the eyes, or noseplugs or earmuffs. They will have "FS" emblazoned on them.

  • Abilities: On the user's whim, Flagpole Sitta will heighten a chosen sense to incredible levels. For sight, he will see incredibly far, possess night vision and essentially possess Star Platinum-level sight. For hearing, he will hear even the slightest sound and can expertly pinpoint where it is. For smell, he can identify the smallest of smells and check how long one's been dead for, a'la Wolverine's sense of smell. He cannot heighten the "sixth sense" however. This ability also comes with a deadly drawback. When one sense is powered up, all of the other senses will be dulled heavily, if not lost outright until Flagpole Sitta is disengaged. If he heightens his sense of touch, he will become blind, deaf and unable to taste or smell. The recovery time between disengaging and reactivating is 30 seconds. If used wisely the user is fairly dangerous, but if he activates the wrong sense or is outwitted, he may be very vulnerable indeed.

Steps (After the British pop group Steps)

  • Appearance: A cyan pedometer which, when active and targetting, counts the opponents steps up until it attacks.

  • Abilities: Can target the user's opponent. Once the opponent is "targetted" if they attack the user, the opponent's attack will be reflected back at them, the damage multiplied by how many steps upon the ground they took. 20 steps will result in 20x the damage. It will count tiptoes, strides, even one-legged hops. However, the targeted user must be walking on a perfectly horizontal walking ground for his steps to be counted. The target can circumvent the Stand by walking on slanted surfaces such as hills, or by climbing perfectly vertical surfaces in any fashion. The Stand will also not count steps if the target is in a wheelchair, driving or flying. It can also be fooled by something similar to Abdul's ring trick. It'll count steps but it will reflect damage back to thin air if the user uses an attack there with their Stand.

Thriller

  • Power: Variable (see abilities)
  • Speed:C
  • Range:A

  • Precision:D
  • Development Potential:B
  • Appearance: An invisible mass of electricity.

Abilities: Thriller can enter the bodies of creatures alive or dead and administer electric shocks. This will cause damage in living, and stimulate the nerves of the dead so that they can be controlled like puppets. From there, it functions as an automatic stand, with all puppet corpses spreading out from the user's location and attacking all living things they encounter with both electric shocks and whatever means of attack the corpses have. The user can chooses whether or not new discovered corpses are converted into puppets, as well as discard any existing puppets he wishes to. Additionally, the user can temporarily disable the attack command and have corpses instead mimic the user's movements as closely as possible. The power in the electric shocks and strength of the corpses are dependant on the distance from the user, and then is divided equally among all controlled corpses. A single corpse positioned right next to the user would possess strength and charge matched only by the very strongest power-type stands, but as the electric shocks needed to control the corpses damage it, this single corpse will quickly deteriorate. This strategy is therefore inadvisable, except as a desperation measure.

Rankings:

User: This was developed at a request to give Chad a Stand.

Appearance: Take On Me appears as a pencil-sketch outline of a knight, with a shield on each arm and no sword. It most commonly appears superimposed over Chad or whatever individual it's currently guarding, mirroring their posture.

Abilities:

  • Interposition: Chad can place Take On Me over anyone he is aware of within 20 meters, allowing his Stand to take attacks in their place (much like Diver Down.) This is limited by transit time- Take On Me must manifest on Chad, then physically move to the person he intends it to guard.

  • Transposition: Once Take On Me has interposed itself on another person, Chad can transpose himself with that person, instantly swapping their physical locations. There is no movement; they simply start existing in the other person's position as if they had always been there. Momentum is conserved between bodies- if Chad has forward momentum and transposes himself with a still person, he will become still and that person will take on his momentum.

  • Retaliation: Take On Me is durable under all circumstances, but can become even tougher by staying immobile and focusing on deflecting attacks with it's shields. While doing this, it can absorb some of the force of the attacks it deflects, counterattacking with power increased in proportion to the last attack made against it. In short- the harder you hit it, the harder it hits back.

For example a persons stamina, strength and speed would be average as long as the user can see them. If a person has a stand then if that person or it's stand is seen then the effect would apply to them both. Stands also lose any powers they have while in sight.

Amaranth

  • Power: B

  • Range: D
  • Durability: B
  • Precision: C
  • Development Potential: A
  • Appearance: A female figure covered in green armour that becomes becomes a flower-like dress on the lower half. Brown vines circle her arms.

Abilities: When the user touches someone, she can chose to make them Amaranth's host. She automatically returns to the user after a month has past, but can be recalled at any time. When with a host, Amaranth functions as the host's stand, with damage to Amaranth affecting the host rather than the user, and obeying the host's order in battle. Amaranth attacks using the vines on her arms and with microscope spores that quickly grow into plants that can have either beneficial or harmful affect, depending on the host's intention. Amaranth can only use these attacks when with a host. She has independent sentience, and while she is loyal to the host, she will occasionally argue with orders. The host can choose to transfer Amaranth to another person with a touch.

When a host loses Amaranth, he or she ages one month for every hour they were the host. She does this without malice, considering it 'payment' for her services. The taken 'time' is given to the user, who can use it to make herself or anyone she's in physical contact with younger. In times of desperation, this can be used offensively to neutralize those who try to attack the user directly.

The user is a girl who used to (and technically still does) have a terminally illness, and was given only a year to live. She has now used Amaranth to gather enough 'time' to live at an age before the illness began to affect her for considerably longer than the average human lifespan. She is a kind girl, and will not hesitate to use her 'time' to help others, including those who served as Amaranth's host without realizing the implications.

  • This stand would belong to a female protagonist. After confirmation from another troper that "Shizuka" contains a character that can be read as "Jo", I've decided that this would belong to an adult Shizuka Joestar, or at least her in the reboot universe. That is some serendipity, considering the invisibility power. Also, its developmental potential is so low because it has already developed.

Name: The Based World (inspired by the songs I'm Miley Cyrus, I'm Paris Hilton, Charlie Sheen, Bill Bellamy, etc., and of course Dio Brando's stand The World)

  • Appearance: Purple-and-red-swirled humanoid the same height as its user. A long chain with diamonds of various colors is attached to its right shoulder and spirals down to its left ankle. Has a head with the appearance of glass and "hair" made of red flames.

  • Abilities: The Based World allows its user to take on the appearance and DNA of anyone currently living on planet Earth, so long as the user can name a single commonality between himself and the person who he is copying. The more unique the commonality, the easier it is for the user to master the target's physical abilities. Simply naming species or sex will do little more than change appearance. This stand cannot copy stand abilities. In addition to this, The Based World has the power to make time flow positively, excepting its user from time-stops, reversals, or slowdown. Time-stops will not activate within range of The Based World. This does not apply to abilities which speed up the flow of time, such as Stairway to Heaven.

Holy Orders(Named after Ky Kiske's theme in Guilty Gear)

  • Appearance: A floating, up side down, gold-hilted broad sword covered in electricity that roughly looks like a human body's upper torso. Has a golden crown on its head.

  • Abilities:
    • Has slight control over electricity, can shock and stagger anyone within a 3-meter radius using electricity from itself, and can manipulate electricity from nearby sources.
    • Burst: Can 'explode' by letting out all the electricity covering the sword. Range is small, but will push anyone back far away. Afterwards the sword may be used as a weapon, but the stand won't reform until recharged with electricity. The stand user is immune to the explosion.
    • Be Just or Be Dead: Holy Orders' ultimate technique, range is one meter directly in front of the stand user. Holy Orders sends a very small, barely noticeable electric signal to the victim, that can control the electricity in their nerves and can manipulate the victim's body to do whatever the stand user wishes. This ability cannot control a stand usre to summon a stand, as a stand is a power of the soul rather than the body. Additionally, the electric signal can be transferred through metallic objects, meaning one can extend the range of the technique, or the user can infuse the electric signal into a metallic object, and then use it as a projectile to be able to affect someone from far away. However as the projectile method does not have the stand in direct contact with the victim, the commands must be inputted into the electric signal beforehand, and cannot be changed unless the stand comes into direct contact with the victim and sends another command.

Certain parts of the truck such as the engine and heater are heating seeking. The backside of the van is also bigger on the inside and can fit an entire soccer team. No toilet though. Furthermore, only the wheels can continuously move if they are on the ground, the other parts will stop still once they hit the ground. • Development Potential: A
  • Appearance: a pair of silver-colored high top tennis shoes with wings around the ankles and a cross on each sole. the shoes are always a perfect fit to the Stand user.
  • Abilities: two-way teleportation: Switchfoot has the power to switch the positions in space of the Stand user and whichever person or object the user targets. (example: user is at the bottom of a staircase, the target at the top; after Switchfoot is used, the user is at the top of the staircase and the target is at the bottom.)
  • Weaknesses: the user has to be able to see the target clearly in order for Switchfoot to operate properly. (vision-enhancing equipment, such as binoculars or a camera with a zoom lens, can be used to mitigate this somewhat.) also, the size of the target is limited to a minimum of 8 in x 8 in by 8 in and a maximum of 8 ft x 8 ft x 8ft. (so no teleporting whole buildings.)
  • Stand User: freshman college student.

  • Appearance: A square pyramid with an eye on the triangular faces, and a tiger paw and wrist coming out of the bottom.
  • Ability/Abilities: A tracking stand that can see into infrared, ultraviolet, magnetic fields, hear by echolocation, etc. (other ranges of senses that animals possess that we do not), and grants thermal tracking.
    • The Search Is Over: If the stand scratches something with its claws, that thing can be tracked at any time. The eye closest to the target glows, making it act somewhat like a compass.
    • Burning Heart: the user can cause the place scratched to burn hotter and move faster (up to burning and supersonic at point blank range) as the user approaches or go colder and move slower (down to freezing and statuesque from the other side of the world) as the user retreats.
    • The user has to constantly be approaching or retreating or else the temperature change shuts off. If the target touches the user or the stand, the tracking and temperature change is shut off. Thus, the burning ability is incredibly risky, and the freezing ability is difficult to use to an extreme distance.

On the next page, the user can amend that shape to make something else instead. The previously made thing disappears/turns into the new thing. The new object doesn't have to be of the same size or scale.
    • If the old thing was physically altered in any way, it can't be turned into something new, and the user has to start anew.
    • Five pages can be stored in the memory at one time, and those shapes can be alternated between. Drawing a sixth erases the first from memory.
    • Playback: triggers the shapes drawn in reverse order, like a flip book, then erases all of them. The items played back do not have to be the same ones as those originally used.
    • for example, say you're fighting a guy on a cliff:
  1. Draw a line: it becomes a bo staff for you to use in combat.
  2. Add a slight curve to one end: the staff becomes a zip line to use to escape the cliff.
  3. Round out the oval: The zip line disappears, dropping your opponent from it if they followed you, and you shoot a fireball from the palm of your hand at them.

Name: Get Back
  • Appearance: Robotic, but deteriorated. Tall, muscular but lean, it's face designed like a clock...face, with minute and hour markers around the edge.

  • Abilities:
    • 1. If Get Back punches anyone, they can be sent to a location they have visited before. Their "condition" can also be reverted/rewinded to what that it was at the point they visited that place—wounds may be healed, size/weight/age may be gained, memories and possessions can be lost, or anything else you can think of.
      • The harder Get Back punches, the less control he/the user has over this. Therefore, his incredible strength can be a liability in a fight, since he's likely to immediately revert any damage he does with an attack.
    • 2. If Get Back's ability is used on the user, the user can be sent to a destination he has visited in his past. In this case, the user will be restored to the condition in which he last visited that destination. He will be forced to sacrifice certain memories to do so.
      • The memories sacrificed will be determined by the people he is in close physical proximity to; the stronger the bonds between those people, whether of enmity or friendship, the further back he'll be able to be sent.
    • 3. In any of the above cases, when the target's condition is reversed, Get Back will take on the properties that were reversed or lost, typically in the form of wounds, possessions, etc. As a general rule, Get Back can survive or withstand any damage this results in, though he may be weakened.
    • 4. Get Back can be separated from and lose track of its user if the user is sent back too far when Get Back's ability is used. It then has to manually search for him and find him before it can be used again. It's strength and speed are drastically weakened when separated for any amount of time and it recovers slowly.

  • User: A member of the Joestar family and a vagabond. Due to the nature of Get Back's powers, he has few memories and no family or friends. He is used to losing his memories constantly and can adapt to new locations and situations incredibly quickly. He is charismatic and friendly, but his ultimate goal is to form bonds with his friends strong enough so that when sacrificed via Get Back's abilities (see #2 above), he'll return himself so far back that he'll be erased from history, reversing all the bad decisions he's made and healing the people he's met.

  • Rankings
    • Get Back is an incredibly powerful and adaptable stand, but direct attacks are not a viable strategy for it to use, as they will probably be reversed immediately due to its own powers. Many of its abilities result in it's capabilities being significantly lowered.

Can also convert certain solid objects into the liquid relating to them. He can turn glass windows into water which is held in glass, as well as the molten materials used to forge glass, though he cannot make a river of molten hell out of a small window. Name: Fell On Black Days

Appearance: This Stand is in the same vein as The White Album, in that it's not its own physical presence as much as it is a shroud that the user can call upon to aid them. In this case Fell On Black Days shrouds the user in darkness, making them shadowy and indistinct.

Abilities:

"What soever I feared": Fell On Black Days has a mental effect on those that see the user, in that instead of the Stand they see their greatest fear personified. The effect can be shaken off with enough resolve, but grows stronger both the closer they are to the user and also depending on their mental state. In other words if someone knows what's coming and prepares for it this ability won't really affect them at all. If the user gets the drop on someone from a foot away though.... Note that the range applies to this power so the user has to be within ten meters for it to work at all.

Enhanced Strength and Durability: The Stand gives the user greater than average strength and durability, and also allows the user to attack Stands as they would "real" objects. Speed is unaffected.

"Don't you lock up something": By far the most useful ability the Stand has is that because it envelops the user in shadow, it can act like a shadow, enabling the user to slip into otherwise impossible locations like under the crack of a locked door. The ability can only be used when the ambient light levels are below a certain threshold.

Blood Brothers (After the songs by Bruce Springsteen, Iron Maiden and Papa Roach)

  • Appearance: Two conjoined dark red humanoids. They have their own heads and torsos but only one arm each and they share the same pair of legs. The two halves work together and protect one another.

  • Abilities: If the user somehow gets the target to bleed, he and his Stand can use the target's own blood against them. The Stand can solidify even the user's blood. Said blood can be fashioned into bladed weapons or a material for use in whipping or strangling victims. The blood and Stand themselves though are fairly brittle and with a decent amount of physical effort or use of a good Stand, the victim can break free, and if they patch the wound up quickly with a plaster or torniquet, the user will lose control of the victim. The user can also only control one victim's blood at a time. It will also immediately react to the next bit of blood spilt from someone. In combat, the two halves can protect each other but are otherwise totally subservient to the Stand user.

  • Appearance: A woman in healing garb that grows older when using lifespan to revive and gets younger when it takes lifespan

  • Abilities: Born Again can revive people who have been dead for up to a maximum of 3 days. It cannot revive people who died of natural causes, and the victim's vital organs must be mostly intact. For example, it can't revive someone whose brain has been destroyed or heart ripped to bits literally. Furthermore, for every person Born Again resurrects, it takes a year off of the user's lifespan. It has a darker ability, too. If the Stand kills someone, it will add the victim's remaining lifespan to the user's lifespan. This can mean making prisms or other formations to form holograms, turning things between them upside down or around, etc. Things reflected do not have to be light, or even physical. They just have to make contact with the user's eyes or nails somehow. For example, if faced with a strong punch, the user could block with a fingernail. This could turn the attacker around, or dislocate their arm by turning just that around, or reflect the pain of the attack to the attacker. By blocking with all five fingernails (think a tiger-style fist) the pain is reflected five times.

  • Appearance: a flock of doves totalling in 75. Some are coloured bronze, others silver, still others gold. Their leader is a platinum coloured dove.

It can also retrieve things from great distances and the user can see through the eyes of any of the doves. However, the doves have a very black and white view of morality and even if you're a good person you will be attacked very hard if you've done a fair amount of evils. Stats:
  • Power: E to B (special)
  • Speed: C
  • Range: B
  • Durability: D
  • Precision: A
  • Developmental Potential: D

Abilities:

Wound Redistribution: Bleed Together has two modes, give and take. In take mode it can suck up any physical wound on a person's body. The clear chamber on the back then fills with a redish liquid, the worse the injury, the more liquid. In give mode it's shot like a regular gun, but fires an extremely thin, laser pointer like line. If this line connects with a living target, a random wound that was absorbed in take mode is given to that person. The user has no control over which wound to give if there are multiple ones, and if the user misses the shot then the wound is not used up.

The gun only has so much capacity, and will give a warning when the chamber is full. The user can continue to use take mode after that, but if too much strain is placed on the chamber, it will blow and inflict all stored wounds on the user, very likely killing them in the process.

Stats:
  • Power: A

Abilities:

Gravity Manipulation: The user of Black Hole Sun can easily alter the gravity of both the surrounding environment and the people around him. He can affect a person by pointing a gloved hand at them and snapping a finger, but the person needs to be standing on the same ground as the user. He can also increase the gravity surrounding him, leaving himself unaffected while the gravity becomes more and more intense the closer anyone gets. He has to stay still to use this power, meaning that he can't just flip it on and then walk towards a person to make them into slurry. When using his "gravity gun" he can generally choose anywhere from a fraction of normal gravity to about 10Gs of force, enough to injure untrained people. If someone is hit with gravity gun they can negate its effect by jumping, although good luck if you suddenly weigh ten times as much.

"True" power: Black Hole creation. Based upon user's emotional stability. The more emotionally unstable the user gets, positive or negative, the worse the black holes become. The user is immune to their black holes, nothing else is.

This prevents the necessity of Danny being involved in potentially dangerous battles to learn techniques. Up to six spells can be recorded at once.
      • Apply: In tandem with its Learn ability, Strange Magic is capable of replaying any spell it observes, though it can only do so once for each spell. As such, any new spell it learns will be potentially lost, rendering Danny unable to interact with its mana for learning. Danny can also have his own spells be recorded within Strange Magic as a potential defense mechanism in the event it is discovered.

Name: A Cruel Angel's Thesis

Appearance: a baleful, seven foot tall humanoid figure bedecked in armour that has a regal purple hue. This figure also has wings of light that appear when it exerts itself. From behind its helmet eyes that shine with an inhuman intelligence can be seen.

An incredibly tough and durable combat Stand, the problem with A Cruel Angel's Thesis is that it absolutely will not listen to its user in any way, shape, or form. Its user, a mild mannered young man who just wishes to lead a normal life, has become more and more isolated out of fear that his "Angel of Death" will inadvertently harm or kill someone he cares about someday. The Stand manifests when its user is under any sort of duress, be that duress physical or emotional, and can't (or perhaps doesn't bother) to differentiate between friend and foe.

The Stand is violently protective of its user, although whether it is out of an actual warped sense of loyalty to the user, or simply because it knows that its master is by his very nature a lot more of an appealing target than it is somewhat unknown. This Stand doesn't have much, if anything, in terms of combat tricks, it's almost all straightforward power. It's not an unbeatable Stand by any means, but it's also not one that should be engaged recklessly. Somewhat ironically, getting close to the user may result in an attack because the user worries an attack may result from people getting close.

  • Abilities:
    • Midas Touch: Can turn any object it touches into gold. It has to be the Stand doing the touching, though. It can reverse the touch as well. Objects can remain a gold statue for upward of a week whilst people will remain statues (living statues. Yep.) for bout a fortnight. Its pretty cruel.
    • Goin' For Gold: When an object has been turned into a statue, the Stand can make duplicates of that object that will also have the same gold sheen. These duplicates last up to a week, after which they vanish. The original remains but loses its gold status. This can be done on money as well, with obvious results.
    • Golden Shower (oh boy this will end well): When the Stand has golded an object, it can also shatter that object and turn the pieces into a rain of projectiles. Name:The Way

Appearance: The Way is a physically "real" Stand, although destroying whatever it happens to be manifested as won't hurt the user or destroy The Way. It can take on the appearance of any individual mode of transportation, from bikes to cars or even planes. However, most of the time it takes on the shape of a pair of worn in but comfortable shoes.

Powers and abilities: The Way may be one of the oldest Stands to ever exist, or it may not. It's impossible to tell because its user doesn't like to talk about the past after a certain point. The reason such speculation exists is because people have caught glimpses of the user of The Way in pictures that date back to the turn of the 19th century.

The primary, and perhaps only ability of The Way is thus: as long as the user keeps wandering, they will never age, sicken, weaken, go hungry, or, indeed, even die. The agelessness of the user is difficult to explain, but in some cases of the other aspects it seems that the user of The Way has almost supernaturally good levels of luck, whether that means finding a hot meal and a warm bed for the night, or avoiding common hazards in the area they're travelling through.

The caveat of course is that the user can never settle down. Perhaps they get a few days, or even weeks, at a location, but when The Way manifests as something new, the user needs to get up and go. Where they go doesn't seem to matter, although from time to time they will get a sense of direction, or need to travel to a certain location. Again, whether this is The Way influencing the user, or the user almost subconsciously influencing themselves is left to complete speculation.

Some things that the user doesn't know about though, mostly because they haven't taken too much of an interest to learn are as follows. Anyone can join the user on his journey, and in doing so benefit from the same protections as the user. However, no one has ever wandered long enough with the user to fully realize this. Likewise, anyone that tries to stop the user from their journey will suffer from horrific bad luck; this ability can be weaponized to an extent, but the user isn't aware of it as such.

As you can imagine, the user is extremely smart — although it's more grounded knowledge than anything from higher learning — since they've lived over one hundred years, perhaps even longer. For this same reason though they're also a little world weary at times. The user does help people out when he can, and enjoys the company of the people he meets, if only briefly. His attitude regarding his Stand is somewhat bittersweet, but whenever he's asked why he doesn't just stop his reply is always the same, "Where's the fun in that?"

How corrosive and fast acting is it? If you tried to run the user through with a sword you'd pull out a pommel and they'd have the equivalent of a shallow cut. Blood spilled from the user retains this extremely toxic nature within a handful of meters of the user. By the way, this does mean that the user is fairly immune to bullets, even a point blank headshot will cause a grievous surface wound but nothing more.

Name: Material Girl

This Stand has the ability to take any kind of clothing crafted by its user and imbue it with the ability to alter the body and/or mind of whoever wears it. Specifically, wearing clothing made by its user will tailor the person's body to fit the clothing rather than the reverse. A woman who wears a Little Black Dress will quickly find herself turned into a bombshell. However, the exact same thing will happen if a man puts on that same dress. The person trying on the clothing will not notice anything amiss while putting it on, even if it would seem absurdly small or big to wear. When the Stand is using its ability, it will act like a tailor, but altering the size and shape of its human target rather than their clothing.

Its user, a clothing store owner and tailor, utilizes Material Girl in day-to-day business to give her customers a subtle boost, such as an increase in bust size or a slimmer waist, with them none the wiser. She also arranges for more dramatic changes for those who are willing to pay the price. A elderly woman seeking to reclaim her youth will walk out of her shop in a Sailor Fuku and a younger body to match. Those who inflict damage to her shop or otherwise act in an offensive manner will quickly find themselves regretting it. A man who tries to act rude to her may find themselves adorned in a infant's sleeper. An overly narcissistic woman may find herself leaving a hundred pounds heavier in a perfectly fitted muumuu. In cases of self defense, he keeps funeral clothing close at hand.

In most cases, simply removing the clothing can remove the effect. If the user is determined, however, the effects can potentially be made permanent.
