Also, Kaguya and Eirin are canonically in love, and a non-canon sidestory has [[ExplicitContent Reimu and Sakuya having sex]].

Yuyuko describes them as animated ''absence'' of lifeforce, since the power of the Phoenix used to create them ''removed'' creation from them, leaving only the bare minimum to remain existing as ambulant life voids desperate to be filled with ''[[HorrorHunger anything]]''.
17	** Flandre, in her first appearance. Listless and angry, she savagely attacks anyone who tries interfering in her plans to destroy Gensokyo. Even [[TimeMaster Sakuya]] and [[LightningBruiser Remilia]] are easily swat aside as she grabs Marisa and Reimu and drags them into her little box of madness. And the worst part is that due to her mental illness, she thinks she's ''saving'' everyone.
18	** Yukari, once we see her use her ManipulativeBastard credentials on Youmu, convincing her bit by bit to do a horrible act as a kindness to her master. [[spoiler:And then we realize she's ''suicidal'', fully aware that her endgame will kill her and all of Gensokyo, and can't muster the energy to ''care''. It's only when her plans are ruined and Ran gets in her way that her serene smile gives way to a berserker rage. Despite the power boost Ran gets by siphoning Yukari's power via the Shikigami Rite, it's still a losing battle for her and it doesn't take long for Yukari to knock her to the ground, umbrella in hand, intent on skewering her loyal servant. It's only due to Chen's opportune appearance that Yukari desperately slams on the brakes and shatters in a horrible VillainousBSOD.]]
19	* {{Squick}}: Reimu's initial reaction to finding [[spoiler:giant naked and anatomically correct statues of Sakuya and Flandre in Remilia's mind]], until she realizes that there's nothing sexual intended by it. Also, everyone's reaction to the [[spoiler:Kashoyo.]]
20	** A far more serious example, the room where Sakuya prepares Flandre's meals.
21	* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Reimu gets all of [[spoiler: Yuyuko's]] powers! ....And doesn't really do much with them.
