!!General (main trilogy)
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e-s5vE-q0w&feature=related funky theme song]] by Toshiaki Tsushima is pure seventies awesome. You'll be humming it for the rest of the day.
* CrossesTheLineTwice: The immense levels of {{gorn}} take on an almost [[Creator/MontyPython Pythonesque]] quality after a while.
* DesignatedHero: Terry. More often than not, he's a dick to everyone he meets, even to his own partners, and even got a girl raped and sold as a sex slave all because she couldn't afford his services.
* {{Narm}}: Terry is a total BruceLeeClone and Creator/SonnyChiba tries his best to channel Creator/BruceLee himself whenever he fights, but he makes stupid faces instead of FunnyBruceLeeNoises.
* HilariousInHindsight: Terry Tsurugi has been offing stereotypes long before [[WesternAnimation/DrawnTogether M*** Mouse]] started doing the same thing! Of course, the stereotypes Terry encountered on a semi-regular basis ''were'' {{Yakuza}} {{Mook}}s.

!!The Streetfighter
* FridgeBrilliance: Terry wanted to make sure Junjo got the deathmatch against him that he wished for ASAP, otherwise he wouldn't have been such an asshole to his siblings. Then again, when Junjo first intercepted him later on, he was already preoccupied with something else at the moment:
-->'''Junjo''': ''I've waited a long time to settle the score!''\
'''Terry''': Don't be too impatient, I'll see you another time.
* LadyMondegreen: Even the DVD subtitles and New Line VHS closed captioning misinterpret one of Terry's lines in the English dub as "I'm nothingness for nothing." He actually says "I'm not in this for nothing."
* MoralEventHorizon: The revelation that [[spoiler:Jadot]] orchestrated the death of Sarai's father and misled her throughout the film.

!!Return of the Streetfighter
* MoralEventHorizon: Otaguro comes very close, but he doesn't get the chance to seal his crossing of it before Don Costello shoots him three times (twice in the R-rated version). Don Costello himself crosses it by ordering his men to [[spoiler:blind Kitty]], if he didn't already do so by sending them to complete the Mafia's contract on Masaoka, which results in [[spoiler:Yamagami, Ken Mao, and Gorasing]] dying and Masaoka himself being tagged in the arm.
* SpecialEffectsFailure: Happens when Terry hits a mook in the back of the head, knocking his eyes out. The effect is shown using a pair of googly eyes. Horrifying the first time, ''hilarious'' every time after.

!!The Streetfighter's Last Revenge
* FridgeLogic: How could Aya possibly think Mr. Black's death "was too cruel" when it's quite clear from the audio that Black may have actually been killed instantly by the retort? Terry may have actually been ''merciful'' to Black by burning him at full power.
* MoralEventHorizon: Frankie Black crosses it when he kills Huo Feng in cold blood during an ambush.
* {{Narm}}: "I don't have to stand for any of that stuff, you pig bastard!", originally spoken by Kimiko when someone tries to make out with her over the phone while she's on the job as an operator, becomes this when she taunts a would-be rapist during the dance scene. Reused recording, much?

!!Sister Streetfighter series
* MoralEventHorizon: The villains of ''Return'' cross it by kidnapping Rika (Shurei's daughter) and using her as live bait with which to ensnare Tina Long. Ebikura proves himself even more sadistic when he leaves Kurozaki for dead and tries to take Tina and Rika down in the process, and the BigBad crosses it by [[spoiler:killing Shurei, who protected Rika from a trio of bullets he had fired at them]].
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Much like The Street Fighter, the first Sister Street Fighter has an [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHc2VMbrlTcfeature=related equally super funky theme song]] by Shunsuke Kikuchi. It's weapons grade ear worm to be sure.
