* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation:
** Is it Frollo's own fault he has so many enemies? Or is Frollo just unlucky enough to keep getting into these situations?
** When Wilford Brimley is given the offer to join Los No Frollos, he turns it down on the grounds that he's lost his energy, but also states that he's "really not interested in that." He changes his tune when Hans and Yzma give him a potion that restores his energy, but before that point, had he merely crossed the DespairEventHorizon, or did he realize where his [[AmbitionIsEvil ambition]] would lead him, only for his energy restoration to turn it into an IgnoredEpiphany?
** Gaston interrupts Hans Frollo and Hades' apparent HeelFaceTurn by continuing to attack them. Did he maliciously attack them to be a dick, or did he genuinely not notice they were having a change of heart? [[spoiler: Last Story pretty much confirm the former.]]
* AngstWhatAngst: [[spoiler: Frollo and Gaston]] find themselves in the Underworld for eternity? Oh well, time for some random shenanigans. Justified for [[spoiler: Frollo]], since he knows DeathIsCheap.
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: A lot of the songs fit for their respective moods. But probably the crowning example is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_26jcMP4kM this remix of "Hellfire"]] (made by Chaos X), which plays during [[spoiler: Frollo transforming into his unknown level Saiyan phase before flying towards a Wilford bird, ready to ram his gigantic sword into him]].
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment:
** The scene involving [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast Crazy Old Maurice]] in "Frollo Beats Up Evil Residents".
** "Leet Fighters 7" have a teddy bear stuck in a sink that uses magic to destroy Bison's newspaper, this is taken care of in a few seconds and no one question why there was a haunted plush in the sink. The smoke appearing when the plush is destroyed imply that it was placed by [[spoiler: Gaston]] but that doesn't explain why [[spoiler: he]] would do that and why everyone forget about the haunted plush in the sink.
* BrokenBase: [[spoiler: Last Story is this among long time followers. Some viewers see the GainaxEnding as a fitting conclusion to the series; others see it as a disappointing and anticlimactic ending.]]
* CharacterRerailment: Played menacingly straight, in a meta sense. As of "Frollo Gets Flashed", Frollo starts becoming more and more of a KnightTemplar, in line with his characterization in [[WesternAnimation/TheHunchbackOfNotreDameDisney his source material]]. [[spoiler:And as of "Frollo Finally Does It" it comes back to bite him in the ass. Thankfully, Ronald [=McDonald=] of all people gives him a HeelRealization.]]
%%* Crazy Awesome: Frollo and Gaston. Age doesn't stop either of them from performing numerous crazy stunts.
* DesignatedVillain:
** Hades counts since Frollo, who had once been his friend, had for no reason turned on him, broken his rurus and had Lefou shit on his face.
** Konata, who along with her friends was murdered and eaten by Bison and Guile in Leet Fighters. The revenge she seeks is completely justified (its just as reasonable as Uma Thurman's character from Film/{{Kill Bill}} wanting revenge). Leet Fighters not only treats her character as a villain but plays her up entirely for laughs with her character getting killed every time she almost gets revenge. But that kind of dark humor is to be expected from chincherrinas.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Mormon Jesus got a large amount of popularity ever since his introduction in ''Leet Fighters 7'' and made a [[spoiler: surprise return in "Frollo Finally Does It"]].
* FanNickname: None of Wilford Brimley's creatures have official names. However, the fans gave them portmanteau names based on the name of the animal they are inspired by and "Wilford". For Example: The flying Wilford creatures are nicknamed "Wilfbird".
* FranchiseOriginalSin: Episode wise example: "Frollo Gets Flashed" was considered the best episode in the series up to that point, with the long runtime and awesome action keeping stakes at an all time high, while displaying a few much more serious and realistic fight scenes while continuing to embrace the campy side. Later episodes up to the finale however, lean a lot more on the BodyHorror and realistic violence aspects with a much more pessimistic and existential tone more akin to that of Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion, with only the Pity episode retaining the more entertaining side the series had. With its very fitting GainaxEnding finale stepping more on existentialism, it's fair to say the series very greatly deviated from its more entertaining tone beginning with Flashed.
** Cross Series Examples: When WebAnimation/SmashBrosLawl's Subspace Emissary returned with the long awaited Villain Valley entry, its story ended up relying much more on ''The Frollo Show'''s existential horror, gore and realistic violence much to the detriment of fans of ''Lawl''.
* GeniusBonus: In "Frollo Gets Flashed by a Gothic Lolita", Hitler lackeys are attacking from the right and Stalin and Dmitri Frollo from the left. This is a reference to the nazis and communists positions on the political spectrum.
* GrowingTheBeard: Around the time of "Frollo Gets AIDS", the series starts getting a sense of continuity and becomes less of just a Youtube Poop. By this point Chicherrinas doesn't even consider the show to be Youtube Poop anymore.
* HarsherInHindsight:
** The Arabian Bros. committing a terrorist attack on Paris seems more disturbing in light of the Charlie Hedbo murders and theater attacks in that very city by Arab terrorists.
** In the first episode, Gaston angrily throws his beer into the fireplace, setting Frollo's palace on fire. In episode 16, most of Frollo's palace is laid to ruin from combatants smashing through the walls and windows, and the cathedral spire was sliced off by Tommy Wiseau [[spoiler:as part of his TakingYouWithMe attempt on Corset]]. Both of them become this in light of the massive fire that broke out at the Notre Dame cathedral on April 15, 2019, complete with the cathedral spire toppling over.
** One of the last song in ''Friends Story'' is the music of Blaze's death from ''Mortal Kombat Armageddon''. Blaze from that game is also [[spoiler: the character used to represent Bleemo's beast mode and the first thing that happens in ''Last Story'' (Which is the episode right after ''Friends Story'') is Bleemo being killed.]]
** Every single friendship moments between Frollo and Gaston can be hard to watch since "Last Story" [[spoiler: revealed that Gaston was a reality warper with powers similar to Ronald all along and that they pretty much manipulated every events in the "Frollo Finally Does It" arc, including the cruel, painful death of many characters such as but not restricted to: Frollo himself, Stocking, & others. To top it all off, he also holds responsibility for the universal reset alongside of Ronald, Panchi, & Haruhi as well, which involved people designated as strangers left to be completely erased from existence. He was also at fault for killing off Frollo's German Cousin Hans Frollo, one of the few of his family & in general which treated him with undying dignity, and seemingly doomed him to what seems to be a [[FateWorsethanDeath Fate Worse than Death]] for seemingly no reason other than to be a total dick]].
* HeartwarmingInHindsight: Frollo begins Episode 6 with a eulogy stating the recently deceased Gaston was his only friend. Not only did he resurrect Gaston, but they have both accumulated a veritable ''army'' of TrueCompanions since.
* HilariousInHindsight: In Episode 6, [=LeFou=] randomly announces that he likes to lick balls and subsequently gives both Gaston and Frollo some oral treatment. Crude as the comparison is, it's rather amusing given his AdaptationalSexuality in ''Film/BeautyAndTheBeast2017''.
* JerkassWoobie:
** Mephiles. Despite being a {{Troll}} who enjoys playing antics on people, [[spoiler: deep inside, he's lonely and [[IJustWantToHaveFriends just wants to have friends]]]].
** Gwonam becomes one as of episode 16, [[spoiler: especially after he saw every one of his comrades die.]]
* MemeticMutation: The Bros Pose reached meme status among Chincherrinas' fans as he encourages anyone to make their own poses. You can view the fan-made Bros Pose gallery [[http://the-frollo-show.wikia.com/wiki/Fan_Bros_Pose_Gallery here]].
* MoralEventHorizon:
** Batiatus crosses it [[spoiler:when he brutally murders Ib in cold blood. Stocking was so disgusted that she killed him by her own hands. Viewers hope he ends in the Sea of Darkness.]]
*** And this also counts as Wilford Brimley's own Moral Event Horizon, [[spoiler: as Bleemo reveals to Irene that he was the one who plotted Ib's and Garry's deaths, making her vendetta against Wilford [[ItsPersonal personal]].]]
** [[spoiler: Frollo himself]] crossed it in-universe when he [[spoiler: shouted at and hit Madotsuki because [[BreakTheCutie she was too happy to use her emotion-based powers to find Wilford]].]] The entire cast was caught completely off-guard when this happened, and [[spoiler: everyone except for Gaston left him to rot alone in the desert for it]].
*** Subverted in Friends Story, [[spoiler: as everyone understood why he did it, but Frollo was so broken that they abandoned him when it was clear they had no way of stopping him from wandering off, and they only marked Lemongrab's grave out of respect for him rather than a dig at Frollo's dickishness]].
** Ronald [=McDonald=] crossed it [[spoiler:when he tricked Frollo into killing Yomika]]. If he didn't cross the Moral Event Horizon before, then this is the moment where he's beyond redemption.
* SugarWiki/MostWonderfulSound: The sound that plays whenever the Bros Pose happens.
* NarmCharm: The entire series RUNS on this trope. Whenever there is a sad moment on one hand it is a [=YouTube=] Poop like series where there are [[MassiveMultiplayerCrossover fictional characters]] getting killed off yet it works so well you could end up [[TearJerker crying for them.]]
* NauseaFuel:
** The food that Ronald [=McDonald=] gives Frollo to eat [[spoiler:contains nasty worms inside, which Frollo accidentally eats and gains stomach pains]].
** Be warned if you don't like gore because Chincherrinas always insist on putting realistic blood and guts when someone gets wounded, even if the character is from a cartoon.
* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: Many viewers consider that WebVideo/TheIrateGamer is a much more likeable character due to his friendship with Best Hercules [[spoiler:and a [[AlasPoorVillain rather touching death scene]]]].
* SpecialEffectFailure:
** While "Friends Story" have some amazing visual effects, the part where Ronald [[spoiler: twists his hand in Haruhi's wound felt lazy edited as his arm become flat as paper as it turns around]].
** Chincherrinas' attempt at making moving perspective when inside Yomika's mind doesn't really work since the walls are absorbing the ground as they move.
* ThatOneBoss: Non-VideoGame example, but Video Game logic do apply here: Ronald [=McDonald=] effortlessly dodges Frollo's bullets, knocks his gun right out of his hand... Ayumu is weak against clowns... and to top it all off, Gameshark is useless against him! Thankfully he had a WeaksauceWeakness... [[spoiler: [[ILetYouWin or has he?]] ]]
* TooBleakStoppedCaring: The different episodes of "Frollo Finally Does It" (with the exception of Pity Story) ran into this trope the more each chapter deranged on existentialist body horror and gore, making the final episodes feel potentially too miserable to enjoy.
* TooCoolToLive: Name at least one character a fan wishes to be back from the dead, and it's most likely Hans Frollo, Ib, or Tommy Wiseau.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: A side effect of a series that debuted in 2011 is that the jokes in the [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness earlier episodes]] (the more YouTubePoop-esque first five episodes, "Frollo Sees Dead People", and "Frollo Misses his Mother") mostly rely on then-contemporary pop culture references and current events (e.g. Justin Bieber's infamy), making them feel dated in comparison to the later episodes, which tone down these topical jokes. In a case of SelfDeprecation, chincherrinas's answer to [[https://ask.fm/TheFrolloShow/answers/136981016514/likes this Ask.fm question]] lists off a moment in "Frollo Reads Mein Kampf" where Frollo and Gaston reenact the [[Memes/DragonBall "over 9000" meme]] as an unoriginal scene.
* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome:
** The amount of effort Chincherrinas put into episodes 16 and 17 really pay off and contrast with the earlier episodes. Special mention goes to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW1y6YTmVKk this trailer]] for the Friends Story of "Frollo Finally Does It".
** It took ''[[ScheduleSlip three years]]'' for him to make the Friends Story. ''It shows.''
* TheWoobie:
** Madotsuki, ''painfully'' so. She [[spoiler: encounters deaths of both friends and enemies, especially three of her own friends, is broken by Wilford Brimley a handful of times, and gets depressed to end up altering Wilford's bizarre realm to find him]]. Is it any wonder why the poor kid snaps?
** Ib also qualifies. [[spoiler: Seeing her best friend impaled and then stomped on is enough to snap her into a beatdown, only for her to get murdered herself.]]
** Irene gets this status [[spoiler: from witnessing Garry's and Ib's aforementioned deaths]].
