In particular, the majority of them were against cancel culture (best evidenced by the short-form vlog series he debuted around that time, ''Problematic!''), especially since they happened after the [=#ChangeTheChannel=] controversy that involved Creator/DougWalker and Website/ChannelAwesome, of which Brad emerged as the major defender of both, but also would be about other issues. Sometimes, he would [[AuthorTract tailor a review around said issue]],[[note]](for example, in the ''Film/BlackChristmas1974'' review, if you didn't know PG-13 slasher films, and ''specifically'' slasher, not horror in general, are a bad thing, and that [[Film/BlackChristmas2019 the then-unreleased 2019 remake]] is bad for being such, you certainly will by the end of the episode; the review was made shortly after the 2019 remake's co-writer confirmed that the film had been made PG-13 for accessibility reasons, sparking an online debate over the validity of PG-13 horror)[[/note]] but sometimes would also appear unexpectedly.[[note]](Such as in his review of ''Oy Vey! My Son Is Gay!'', when in the climax the female lead makes a public plea for forgiveness for judging her son for being gay, hence the title, but Snob dismisses her with a rant that sounds less like a joke and more like how Brad views cancel culture: "Redemption no longer exists! You once had bad beliefs, which means you still do! No growth or forgiveness in this dojo! Mom is ''cancelled!''")[[/note]] This tendency subsided in the 2020s, however, as did the similarly-themed ''Problematic!'' spinoff vlog series, as the [=#ChangeTheChannel=] controversy also died down.

13	** ''Los Porno Sin Son'': When Porn!Homer hires a prostitute for Porn!Bart, the Snob states "That is ''not'' in Creator/BillCosby's book on fatherhood."[[note]](A reference to an also-poorly-aged moment in "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS3E9SaturdaysOfThunder Saturdays of Thunder]].")[[/note]] Cosby would later be convicted of several sex crimes far worse than merely hiring a prostitute.
14	** In the review of ''A Little Piece of Heaven'', Snob jokingly expresses concern for what the orphan black kid Kirk Cameron's character kidnaps will grow up into, as a dig to Cameron's controversial beliefs. The kid was played by Jussie Smollett, who a few months after the release of the review would gain infamy for allegedly staging a racist/homophobic hate crime against himself (supposedly committed by people of similar controversial beliefs), leading to his subsequent arrest. This is {{lampshade\|Hanging}}d by Snob in his review of Cameron's ''Film/{{Left Behind\|2000}}'', where he jokes that ''A Little Piece of Heaven'' turned out to be an origin story for Smollett.
15	** In his cameo in the ''Star Babe'' review, WebVideo/{{Phelous}} says "You wouldn't think that I'd get this question a lot, but to be fair, ''you're a fucking idiot.''" That turned out to be the last appearance by Phelous as the two had a real life fallout in light of the Channel Awesome controversy.

21	** From the ''Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever'', he lists other meme based movies he has to watch, including "Secret Agent [[http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/scumbag-steve Scumbag Steve]]" that has "Kingsman 2" as a caption on Steve's picture. Fast forward to 2017 where ''Film/KingsmanTheGoldenCircle'' features the Statesman, the American equivalent of the Kingsman, whose agents do not wear a suit and tie either.
22	** In his ''Sex Trek'' review, he made fun about the porn name choices of the movie by bringing up how his porn name as The Cinema Snob would probably be "The Citrus Snort". 23	** In the ''Christian Mingle: The Movie'' review, he tells the female lead "I'm 35 and divorced. You'll be fine." when she angsts over being 30 and not having a long-term relationship. In real life, Brad got remarried less than a year after the episode was made.
24	** In the video about ''Film/TheStarWarsHolidaySpecial''[='s=] commercial breaks, after a commercial for the ''Reggie'' bar airs, Snob says, "Coming up next on ''WebVideo/BradTries'', Brad tries a 40-year-old ''Reggie'' bar '''and dies!'''" Brad later actually tried one (albeit from the 90's re-release) and found it to be the worst thing he ever ate on the show.

26	** In 2018, shortly after a public spat involving ''Series/SexAndTheCity'' actress Creator/KimCattrall and the rest of the series's co-stars made the possibilities of a third ''Sex and the City'' movie appear impossible, Snob uploaded a review of a "Sex and the City 3", claiming at the beginning that he traveled to an AlternateUniverse to find a third movie, before revealing that it's just a porn parody that he had retitled. While a third film hasn't happened yet as of 2021, that year it was announced that the series would have a continuation series after all without Cattrall's involvement, titled ''Series/AndJustLikeThat''

Pretty much the only thing that brings levity to his appearances is that while the Snob is understandable freaked out whenever he appears, he seems to be so ConditionedToAcceptHorror that he only considers him a little nuisance.
