5	* BizarroEpisode: The show is already pretty... out there, but the tip of the iceberg would likely be "Brothers...To The End?", which has the premise of the universe suddenly coming to an end right at the turn of the millennium, and Norbert and Daggett are instructed to recreate it all over again. [[spoiler: In the end, it turns out the incident was [[AllJustADream just a mass hallucination of many of the main characters brought on by]] [[MushroomSamba bad martinis]]...[[OrWasItADream or was it?]] [[GainaxEnding It's not especially]] [[AmbiguousEnding made clear]].]]
6	* BrokenBase: While the two main characters constantly ad libbing over one another is one of the show's biggest draws, some feel that it can make stories difficult to follow as a result.

10	* CultClassic: Even during its initial run, the show has never been regarded as a mainstream hit, but it has an enormous cult following amongst fans of '90s Nickelodeon shows.

Doesn't this sound a bit like [[Series/TheColbertReport Stephen Colbert]], and his irrational hatred and fear of bears?
16	** In "Endangered Species", Dag gets mistaken for a horned beaver. The ''WesternAnimation/IceAge'' series would feature horned beavers.
17	** In "Same Time Last Week", the portion where Daggett is struggling in vain to ''keep from'' annoying Norbert is punctuated with Norbert shrieking, "[[VideoGame/EternalDarkness This... isn't... really... happeniiing!]]"
18	** "Another One Bites the Musk" is essentially a precursor to ''Franchise/{{Splatoon}}'' with Norbert and Dagget having a Turf War with their musk. They even use the colors orange, blue, pink, and green, the signature colors of the first two games!
19	** "Dag's List" sees Norb giving Dag an organizer for him to write the names of those who wrong him in. It essentially turns Dag into a proto-[[Manga/DeathNote Light Yagami]].
20	** "Squotters" has Norb and Dag dealing with freeloading otters claiming their dam. ''WesternAnimation/WeBabyBears'' would introduce a freeloading otter character, named Squatter Otter.

22	** Daggett and Norbert themselves are awfully cute critters.
23	** As well as their identical little sisters, Stacy and Chelsea.

30	** Some of the human designs in the show can range from pretty goofy to downright frightening. 31	** Stump himself can fall into this, due to the unnerving expression permanently carved into its face and the fact that everybody treats it as if it were alive and sentient.
32	** There's also Norb and Dag's cousin, which turns out to be a photo of a real-life beaver superimposed onto the animation.
33	* ValuesResonance: "Zooing Time" portrays the zoo as a resort where animals get pampered rather than a [[MenagerieOfMisery prison as zoos tend to be thought of as]] (which gets referenced in the episode). This holds up very well today, since modern zoos have dedicated themselves to conservation and animal welfare. It helps that the zoo in the episode is based off a modern zoo with wide-open enclosures.
