Music/MandyMoore turned out to be a fan of their music, which gained enough exposure through her film ''Film/AWalkToRemember'' to score the band a mainstream record deal... and the rest is history.
16	* IAmNotShazam: When Jerome first joined the band, a lot of the fanbase thought that he was "Chin", the Asian guy in the liner notes of the band's first album. He isn't.
17	* LouisCypher: A possible (and given the story of [[DealWithTheDevil Faust]], probable) interpretation of the old man in the first verse of "Faust, Midas, and Myself."
