* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** Snuffles got popularity for his signature bribery routine, leading him to be a mascot of different cereals and parodied from time to time.
** WesternAnimation/Snagglepuss got his start here and was on 4 different episodes before getting his own series of shorts.
* FairForItsDay: Baba Looey hovers near the borders of EthnicScrappy, but is obviously so much smarter than the *ahem* "white" horse Quick Draw that it can be forgiven.
* HoYay: It's probably nothing more than narcissism, but Quick Draw and his CriminalDoppelganger, Horse-Face Harry, will refer to each other as handsome or good-looking.
* MemeticMutation
** "EEEEEEL KA-BONG!!"
** "And don't you forget eet!"
** Snuffles' reaction whenever he eats a dog biscuit.
** Indirectly led to the creation of one of the most enduring catchphrases from Radio/TheHowardSternShow. Stern's producer Gary [=Dell'Abate=] was talking about purchasing an animation cel of Baba Louie, but mispronounced his name as "Baba Booey", which became his nickname from then on. It then achieved memetic status through Stern's fans chanting it when prank calling other radio shows, or shouting it out at golf tournaments whenever someone completes their swing.
* MexicansLoveSpeedyGonzales: Baba Looey is beloved by Mexican fans despite being seen as a stereotype.
* PeripheryDemographic: When it premiered in 1959, the show was very popular among grown-ups as well as with kids. Same thing with WesternAnimation/TheHuckleberryHoundShow the year before that.
* Woolseyism: The Latin American dub made this show very popular among Spanish speakers. Among other things, it gives Baba Looey, known there as Pepe TruenoPepe Thunder, a heavy Mexico City accent, and gives Quick Draw, known as Tiro LocoCrazy Shot, an American accent... until their voices were changed for the later Quick Draw cartoons. In Spanish. Much funnier than the native English version.
