* AngstWhatAngst: Sheen doesn't seem to be homesick in the slightest.
--> '''Mr. Nesmith''': Sheen, don't you think we should focus on fixing the rocket so we can return to Earth instead of having a milkshake?
* SugarWiki/AwesomeArt: Despite its mixed-to-negative reception, the animation has been described as fantastic and considered by some viewers to hold up better than the original series.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Pinter, due to how {{adorkable}} he is. His [[HoYay utter devotion]] to Dorkus doesn't hurt.
* FanonDiscontinuity: Most fans of its [[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius predecessor]] like to pretend this show didn't exist.
* FanPreferredCutContent: Many believe had the show went with its darker original plot in which Sheen was a double agent working for both sides of a planetary war[[note]]This was changed because it was too close to the Creator/JamesCameron film ''Film/{{Avatar}}''[[/note]], the show would have stood a better chance.
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: The show is fondly remembered in Argentina despite ''[[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]]'' never being popular there.
* GrowingTheBeard: In an unusual case, people have stated the series finale was when the show started to get better. However, since this was the final episode, this might be one of the shortest periods of growth in television history.
* HarsherInHindsight: In the pilot episode, the alien announcer says, "And now, here's the star of our show ''(but not for much longer)'' Sheen!" The show itself was canned after a single season.
* MemeticMutation:
** [[UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump Tronald Dump, the man who built Dump Towers.]] Similarly,[[Series/TheApprentice "You're discharged!"]]
** [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext Sheen throwing Carl into a plane in "Is This Cute?"]], due to the SpecialEffectsFailure mentioned below causing it to look more like something out of a ''VideoGame/GarrysMod'' animation than an actual moment from the show.
* NightmareFuel: Aseefa's [[GameFace Warrior Face]].
* OlderThanTheyThink: The series bears a strong resemblance to ''Leader Dog'', a series of shorts aired on Nicktoons Network (then Nicktoons TV) in 2004. Those shorts were about a dim-witted Earth dog being brought to an alien planet, to gain the admiration of their king and become their ruler as Earth's representative with them worshipping every dog-like action he does.
* RootingForTheEmpire: Due to how much more [[TookALevelInDumbass obnoxious and idiotic,]] Sheen became in the series, you will find little shortage of detractors who would find it preferable for Dorkus to succeed in his goals to kill him.
* TheScrappy: Even genuine fans of the show dislike Princess Oom. She's a loud, obnoxious RoyalBrat who has an inexplicable crush on Sheen and constantly tries to lick him without his consent. Her design being creepy, even by the show's standards, doesn't help.
* {{Sequelitis}}: The sequel to ''[[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]]'' that most fans agree does not live up to the original.
* SpecialEffectFailure: The Carl flashback scene in "Is This Cute?" has plenty of this. From the poor liquid animation of the milkshake Carl and Sheen are drinking, to Jimmy's lazily designed empty backyard, and the lazy animation on Sheen and Carl's spinning that looks more like they're on a slow rotating table and Sheen accidentally letting go of Carl and sends him flying into the sky, which has poor animation physics.
* {{Squick}}: The episode "Feeling Roovy" has the villain Baby Arms Banarog steal Aseefa's roove, an animal living in her throat that enables her species to yodel. What's disgusting is that it is strongly implied that Baby Arms Banarog was storing the roove in his butt.
* TearJerker: Just the fact that Sheen is likely stuck on Zeenu forever with no way of getting home is a Fridge Tearjerker. There's also the fact that his father and grandma must be depressed, not to mention that his friends haven't gone to look for him. That is if they knew where the rocket landed.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: "Cutting The Ultra-Cord" ends with Sheen resolving to be a hero on Zeenu, which could've given the show a new central focus. Though a few episodes do have the Emperor or someone else request Sheen's help for a given problem, the general approach really doesn't change, with Sheen largely remaining an idiot who often lucks his way into solutions for problems he himself caused.
* UnintentionallySympathetic: Although we're obviously not supposed to root for Dorkus' attempts to get rid of Sheen, it was only because his house was destroyed by the rocket from which he arrived. Dorkus' belongings may have been destroyed as well, and, as Pinter points out, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking he just redecorated.]] To rub salt in the wound, Sheen had the gall to say that it was the ''house'' that destroyed "his" rocket, and wasn't exactly apologetic about the incident. How would you feel if someone did this to you?
