* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The two opening themes. The second one is especially nice, and is sung by Kenji Ohtsuki of all people.
* CompleteMonster: Baron Bloody is a demonic robot scientist who, in his first appearance, sets up the death of Jack Moon in order to use his body in his own experiments. Later, it is revealed that Baron Bloody is responsible for the death of Koichi Shiranami's parents when they tried to stop him from blowing up Europe. When confronted by Koichi, Baron Bloody proudly takes responsibility and casually refers his parents as "foolish couple". Where the other villains still have some sense of humor in their plans, Baron Bloody's plans are downright vicious.
* EndingFatigue: The general consensus on the final battle with [=DaiMaOh=] is that it drags on for far too long, with many unfavourably comparing him to a JRPG FinalBoss. Not helping things is the fact that he has no less than FIVE FORMS.
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: The transformation and roll call of our three heroes... in the bathroom.
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: Despite being a commercial failure in Japan, Ryukendo found success in various international markets.
** It was a big hit in Brazil, getting far better ratings than it did in Japan, and eventually, it got a DVD release. (Sadly, only the first 13 episodes were released due to poor sales).
** Not the same success that it saw in Brazil, but Ryukendo did well in the rest of Latin America too. It premiered in 2009 on the cable channel ZAZ, and it stayed on the channel until it was closed down in 2012.
** Ryukendo also did very well in South Korea, with high ratings and a large line of merchandise.
** Ryukendo premiered in 2011 on Disney XD India, and it quickly became one of the most popular shows on the channel.
* GrowingTheBeard: After Episode 30, it becomes much better.
