* CrazyIsCool: Creator/{{The Daniels}}-directed music video for "[[https://youtu.be/HMUDVMiITOU Turn Down for What]]" is one of the most batshit music videos ever made.
* FountainOfMemes: Everything he shouts. ''Everything.''
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments:
** Appearing on ''Series/ChappellesShow'' with Chappelle's Lil Jon.
** Being responsible for [[http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1yxsgs/this_is_lil_jon_ama/ one of the all-time great Reddit AMAs.]]
* HilariousInHindsight: The song "Snap Yo Fingers" took on another meaning in 2018 following the release of ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar''. For a while, the top comment posted on the music video on Website/YouTube referred to it as "ComicBook/{{Thanos}}' anthem", another user created [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo0WugvuADE the appropriate mashup]] (spoiler warning), and the {{filk|Song}} band The Merkins made [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfKyOrTjVz8 this music video]] in which "Lil Than" does his own version of the song titled "Snap My Finger". The line "you can do it all by yourself" is especially funny now, as it immediately brings to mind TheStinger from ''Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron'':
-->"Fine, I'll do it myself."
* MemeticMutation: He's produced many over the years, including one of the earliest and most prolific on Website/{{YTMND}}, from "Get Low": "Skeet Skeet Motherfucker!"
* RetroactiveRecognition: Before becoming known as a musician, he was the A&R Director at So So Def Recordings during its heyday. During this era he also served as the producer of "My Boo" by the one-off group Ghost Town DJ's.
* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome:
* NarmCharm: If you can get over how silly his songs are, they are pretty entertaining.
* NightmareFuel: The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMUDVMiITOU video for "Turn Down for What"]], which upon watching can feel more like a horror film than a music video. Special mention goes to when a woman tries to call the police, only for the man with the libido to come over, snatch the phone from her, then shout into the phone so hard, the officer on the other end's face ''melts''.
* SignatureSong: "Get Low". Shared with DJ Snake,[[note]]who coincidentally later made a song with Dillon Francis called "Get Low"[[/note]] "Turn Down for What" has quickly begun to rival it.
