2	* TheCatchPhraseCatchesOn: Many, including "Help me help you", "You had me at 'hello'", "You complete me", and most notably "Show me the money". Two well-earned spots on AFI' s "100 Quotes" List, with the "hello" line ranked at #52 and the "money" line at #25.
3	* ConsolationAward: While Creator/CubaGoodingJr rightfully did deserve the Award for Best Supporting Actor, many viewers felt that the Oscars only gave him that award after they snubbed him from his ground-breaking performance in ''Film/BoyzNTheHood''.
4	* EnsembleDarkhorse: Ray for being an adorably precocious child, and getting a lot of great lines.

6	* HilariousInHindsight: The final scene shows Ray throwing a baseball with shockingly good accuracy and distance, prompting Jerry to think he might have potential. While Jonathan Lipnicki didn't become a baseball player, he did become a [[https://www.picsofcelebrities.com/celebrity/jonathan-lipnicki/pictures/jonathan-lipnicki-pictures.html jacked]] MMA fighter and achieve a black belt in BJJ.
