4	* CatharsisFactor: The show is arguably built upon this principle. Many of the classic Disney Villains are given more comedic traits and are often subject to jokes and slapstick. If there was a villain from any of the shorts or movies that scared you like the Big Bad Wolf, Chernabog, or Maleficent? There's a good chance you'll get some relief from those terrors here.

6	** Donald acts like this on occasion. While he is [[HairTriggerTemper short-tempered]], [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]], and does underhanded things, there are occasions where he has yet to do anything wrong and he'll get blamed. Like when he's being tormented or disrespected despite him doing nothing to deserve it and he'll be framed, by either Chip and Dale, the Aracuan Bird, or Baby Shelby for things he didn't do.
7	** In "Donald's Lamp Trade", Mickey offends Donald by calling him "a ham" and he gets hypnotized by Jafar into bringing him the lamp and when it was revealed it wasn't the lamp he asked for, it was Mickey's dressing room lamp, Donald gets turned into a ham by Jafar and Minnie has him to be eaten by Gus Goose, despite him being ''hypnotized'' [[LaserGuidedKarma and he's somehow the bad guy who deserves it]].
8	* EnsembleDarkhorse: Gaston, already [[EvilIsCool popular]] in [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast his own movie]], is generally considered one of the highlights of this show, [[LargeHam for]] [[FountainOfMemes obvious]] [[AwesomeEgo reasons]].

10	** With the many Disney movies and TV shows having come out since the show's ending, many people who write fanfics or draw fanart about this show often write stories involving characters from movies such as ''WesternAnimation/{{Frozen\|2013}}'', ''WesternAnimation/WreckItRalph'', ''WesternAnimation/BigHero6'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Zootopia}}'', and others being involved in the hijinks at the House of Mouse. And then there's the animated shows Disney's ignored- ''WesternAnimation/MightyDucksTheAnimatedSeries'', ''WesternAnimation/{{WITCH}}'', along with more popular ones like ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'', ''WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil'' and ''WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder''. This also stretches to the theme park attractions like ''Journey Into Imagination'' and video games like ''Franchise/KingdomHearts''. This [[ExaggeratedTrope even extends]] to everyone else, like those from Pixar, The Avengers, Spider-Men, the X-Men, the ''Star Wars'' cast, the ''Indiana Jones'' cast and more from Disney's acquired properties.

12	** It got even ''more'' insane following ''WesternAnimation/DuckTales2017'', where fans are already coming up with hi-jinks involving the 2017 incarnation of Webby, Lena de Spell, and of course, [[spoiler: shenanigans with Della Duck (Donald's twin sister) meeting Daisy]].
13	** With WesternAnimation/OswaldTheLuckyRabbit’s return to Disney, who knows what kind of conundrums he could bring to the table?

15	** In ''Mickey vs Shelby'', WesternAnimation/{{Bambi}} compares a stage frightened Shelby to a DeerInTheHeadlights, before he gets stunned himself by [[Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit Benny the Cab]]. In ''WesternAnimation/BambiII'' made eight years later, a PlayedForDrama focus in plot is Bambi suffering this trope before Man's attacks.
16	** In "House of Crime", one of the clues to find the culprit behind the kidnappings at the club is "someone who was here since the beginning", and later, everyone thinks it was Mickey. This can be harder to watch for those who know that Walt Disney has been making cartoons long before Mickey was even conceived[[note]]Such as Pete, who made his debut in the ''Alice Cartoons'' series in the early 1900s.[[/note]]. Oswald fans may have the hardest time hearing this since a crucial part of Oswald's character in ''VideoGame/EpicMickey'' is how Mickey replaced and overshadowed him.
17	** The show covers every Franchise/DisneyAnimatedCanon movie up to ''WesternAnimation/AtlantisTheLostEmpire'' (except for ''{{WesternAnimation/Dinosaur}}''), complete with brief cameos of Milo (in "Goofy's Menu Magic" as one of the characters swept away by the flood of soup), Kida and Rourke (in "Donald Wants to Fly", with the former flying a Ketak over the latter in the background), and giving ''Mrs. Packard'' of all people a brief speaking role in "Dining Goofy". Unfortunately, ''Atlantis''' underperformance at the box office resulted in a potential animated TV spinoff based on that movie being cancelled and retooled into ''WesternAnimation/AtlantisMilosReturn'' instead.

19	** In the episode ''Pluto Saves The Day'', Goofy said he likes Doc. So much so, that [[WesternAnimation/The7D his voice actor BECAME Doc]].
20	** One of the band names used by Huey, Dewey, and Louie was [[Music/{{Kraftwerk}} Quackwerk]]. Quackwerks would later be the name of a company prominently featured in the ''WesternAnimation/DarkwingDuck'' [[ComicBook/DarkwingDuck comic book]].
21	** In Jiminy Cricket's guest episode, he uses [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast Belle and the Beast]] as an example of "sometimes you won't (have children)". There is now a live-action Disney Channel Original Movie called ''Film/{{Descendants}}'', and one of the main characters is the son of the Beast and Belle.
22	** Just the idea of all of the Disney stars interacting with each other in a large space became this with the release of ''WesternAnimation/RalphBreaksTheInternet''.
23	** Considering just how many twist villains Disney has created ever since House Of Mouse ended, one can imagine that the line "[[EvilAllAlong A villain in disguise]]" would have played out differently if the series were made today.
24	** Maleficent and Hades being a couple (or at least going on a date), whereas in ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'', Hades would rather have nothing to do with her evil scheme since it doesn't forward his own plans in the ''Hercules'' world, to the point that he quits working with her. Looks like ''that'' ship has sunk...
25	*** And then ''[[Film/{{Descendants}} Descendants 3]]'' came along and revealed that [[spoiler: Mal is the daughter of both Maleficent and '' Hades'', although once again the ship had sunk.]]
26	** While Jiminy has his speech about summing up the takeaways of the Disney movies, he says that maybe you'll find love, maybe you won't, just as the camera pans over to an annoyed Quasimodo. Guess he doesn't consider [[WesternAnimation/TheHunchbackOfNotreDameII the sequel]] canon?
27	** In one episode, Microphone Mike begins the show by saying, "[[WesternAnimation/MickeyMouseClubhouse Meeska! Mooska! Mickey Mouse!]]"

A few years later, Disney and Pixar would release a movie CALLED ''WesternAnimation/{{Ratatouille}}''; featuring another character who is a rat (and, unlike Ratigan, proudly calls himself one).
30	* HoYay: At the start of the Valentine's Day episode, Pumbaa, taking Mickey's "grab your sweetie and give 'em a smooch" line seriously, puckers his lips, but Timon tells him, "Don't even think about it!" This doubles up as HilariousInHindsight, as a few years later Timon's voice actor Nathan Lane came out.

34	* MagnificentBastard: In ''WesternAnimation/MickeysHouseOfVillains'', [[Characters/AladdinJafar Jafar]] shows he's just as magnificent as he is in the [[WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}} fil]][[WesternAnimation/AladdinTheReturnOfJafar ms]], orchestrating a takeover of the House by convincing all the Disney villains to ally into a LegionOfDoom. When the time comes for the takeover, Jafar kicks Mickey and Minnie out amid a grand VillainSong, "It's Our House Now."

''Chernabog'' of all characters is a source of several gags and loses a lot of his silent sinister mystique by talking here in a goofy raspy voice. Basically, if you or your kid ever got traumatised by one of the Disney franchise's bad guys, this is a good recovery source.
46	* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: Several of the songs. To clarify, if you happen to be a Disney fanatic, many of the songs will sound very familiar.

48	** Plenty of characters are underutilized. Despite Creator/{{Jim Cummings\|1952}} doing regular duty as Pete, [[WesternAnimation/TheManyAdventuresOfWinnieThePooh Pooh and Tigger]] for example spend pretty much [[TheVoiceless all their appearances mute]].
49	** Although Max and Roxanne appear in the series, Pete’s wife and kids do not appear at all. It would have been nice to see how they would react to Pete’s schemes to take over the club and what they would bring to the table in the episodes where he does take over. For instance; PJ could replace Max as the valet, Peg could replace Minnie as the manager and Pistol could replace the nephews as the house band?
50	** Anyone from ''WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove'' aside from Kuzco. Pacha and Yzma make [[OneShotCharacter one-time]] non-speaking cameos, and [[EnsembleDarkhorse fan-favorite]] character Kronk doesn't even appear at all!
51	** The whole {{Crossover}} premise is rather under-utilised besides a few odd episodes, with mostly only the classic Disney cast taking up the majority of main storylines and shorts, and the Franchise/DisneyAnimatedCanon cast mostly just played for quick gags, meta references or cameos. Granted, Disney is very picky with its franchises interacting with one another, but still.
52	** Beyond a quick cameo by WesternAnimation/PepperAnn in the first episode? No other characters native to Disney Animated Series make appearances. Though this would likely be for legal reasons.
53	** The show has many characters from other Disney films they never included, in spite of being very popular--for example, [[WesternAnimation/{{Dumbo}} Casey Junior]], and [[WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid1989 Ariel's sisters]] are left out entirely, with nary a mention to their whereabouts. Granted, Disney had only so many characters they could work with, but they could have at least snuck them in once or twice.

55	** [[WesternAnimation/TheRescuersDownUnder Percival C. McLeach]], who along with [[WesternAnimation/TheRescuersDownUnder Joanna the Goanna]] made an appearance in the episode "House of Crime".
56	** Likewise, the Flamingoes, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, and the Little Girl from "Rhapsody in Blue" (all from ''WesternAnimation/Fantasia2000'' all appear at some point.
57	* UnintentionallySympathetic: In "Donald's Lamp Trade", Donald is shown to be completely in the wrong for being angry at Mickey for calling him "a ham" and stealing "the Lamp" (which wasn't the lamp he asked for, it was the lamp in Mickey's dressing room), but he was manipulated by Jafar into thinking that Mickey is not his friend and he gets turned into a ham by Jafar and ordered to be eaten by Gus Goose ''[[OutOfCharacterMoment by Minnie]].''
58	* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Mickey and Minnie come across this in "Donald's Lamp Trade" where Donald was being mocked for "being a ham" and was hypnotized by Jafar into giving Mickey "the lamp" but it wasn't the kind of lamp he wanted, but it was the lamp from Mickey's dressing room and Donald still gets angry looks from Mickey, Minnie and Goofy ''despite being hypnotized'' and he gets turned into a ham by Jafar ''literally'' and Minnie [[OutOfCharacterMoment assigns Gus Goose]] ''to eat Donald''.

60	** Dennis the Duck when Donald says that he "doesn't think he's funny". Since he idolizes Donald and being funny is literally his reason for living, he's sent into a [[DrivenToSuicide suicidal]] HeroicBSOD. [[spoiler: Don't worry, he gets better]]. Doesn't hurt that he's [[http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121102033749/disney/images/d/d5/Dennis_the_Duck.jpg so adorable looking]].
61	** Goofy in "Goofy's Valentine Date" when he realizes that he doesn't have a special one for Valentine's Day. Fortunately, [[spoiler:it turns out that Clarabelle likes him]].
