1	* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: You could interpret Bad Rap's behaviour as being motivated by guilt for causing the death of other dinosaurs (or at least other velociraptors) in the pilot, thus explaining why he is so obsessed with exterminating humans and bringing back a dinosaur era on Earth. His motivations for the most part scream WellIntentionedExtremist, as he basically wants to make the Earth suitable for reptiles in general. Of course, his CardCarryingVillain personality makes him look quite deranged.
2	* AngstWhatAngst: While the Dinosaurs were sometimes saddened that they were the last of their kind, Hard Rock quickly got over the fact that he was stranded on Earth with no way to get back home again.

5	** "The Extreme Files". A parody of, of all things, [[Series/TheXFiles The X-Files]]. Pork and several other airplane passengers mysteriously disappear, so agents [[LawyerFriendlyCameo Scolder and Mully]] get called up to investigate it. They suspect that Roswell and Pork might be in involved. They along with other FBI agents infiltrate Pork's home where the Dinosaurs are. Scolder and yes [[AgentScully Mully]] are surprised by talking dinosaurs actually existing. The dinosaurs and the FBI agents suspect Roswell scientist Becky Scarwell who has a history with Scolder. Turns out that several aliens abducted the passengers as hostages in exchange for the aliens Scarwell has been keeping captive. They free the aliens and the airplane passengers return to their seats. Oh and the Raptors don't appear at all in this episode.
6	** "Agent Double-O Dinosaur", a parody of [[Franchise/JamesBond James Bond]] that features T-Bone going on a solo mission in Europe, complete with hidden gadgets. The other dinosaurs make only minor appearances, and T-Bone is forced to [[TeethClenchedTeamwork work with the Raptors]]... until they inevitably backstab him so they can [[HijackedByGanon overthrow the human villain]] and get the episode's plot device for themselves.
7	* FridgeBrilliance: Yes, Stegosauri had small brains compared to humans, but they weren't clearly dumber than any other dinosaur, so Stegz being TheSmartGuy makes sense.
8	* JerkassWoobie: Haxx on a daily basis. And Spittor in "''Jurassic Art''; his partners gave him no support for his short lived artist career. In fact, they were the ones to end it. Even though they're both [[CardCarryingVillain evil]], you can't help but feel a little sympathy for them.

10	** It's admittedly a bit hard to take Bad Rap seriously most of the time because his metal jaw enhancements make him look like he's wearing dino-braces.
11	** Due to being based on toys with ''wild'' proportions, sometimes the characters are drawn with '''REALLY''' big heads which ends up looking pretty goofy.
12	* PopularWithFurries: Why yes, the series that features a bunch of muscular anthropomorphic dinosaurs is indeed rather popular with scalies, why do you ask?

14	** In the first episode "Out of Time" when the cast end up in modern-day Earth, the Extreme Dinosaurs wonder where are the rest of their kind, and Chedra gives them the bad news.

24	** "Fossil Fooled" ends with T-Bone having to explain why oil and tar smells familiar... it's the bones of their dinosaur (and pterosaur) ancestors. It seems to finally dawn on the team at this moment that they're the last of their species left, and everyone they knew before their transformations is dead. Special mention goes to poor Bullzeye, who mistook a ''Pteranodon'' skeleton in the museum for the real thing and, when he saw what it really was, was visibly upset.

26	** Spittor's artist career in ''Jurassic Art'' is ruined by Bad Rap and Haxx exploiting it for their plan and the episode ends on a depressing note when he visits the museum one last time.

28	** Ridge from the Colossal Dome two parter. He looked like he would join the team as the [[SixthRanger sixth dinosaur]], but he stays with the rebels and never appears again.
29	** Argor Zodrak. He's the one who mutated both the Extreme Dinosaurs and the Reckless Raptors (who are loyal to him), which could make him the main villain, but he's barely in the show at all.
30	* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The plot involving the Raptors finding raptor eggs and trying to have them hatch in order to raise an army had the Extreme Dinosaurs steal an egg and trying to raise it as one of them, hoping this might result in at least one good raptor, with Spike being skeptic about the idea. In the end, [[spoiler:the eggs turn out to actually be ostrich eggs.]] While this twist is undisputably [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments hilarious]], no one can deny it would have been cool to have a [[TokenHeroicOrc good raptor]] as a new character considering all that would have involved.
