1* DemonicSpiders:
2** Many monsters or enemies have a high chance of dealing wounds, including [[GiantEnemyCrab Giant Crabs]] (who also have high defenses) and Ogres.
3** Flame spirits are tough to kill and use a burn effect that can be deadly.
4** Stone Golems: they have tons of health, are immune to wounds, spells or knockback and can deal a lot of damage. The final level spams them like candy at you.
5* DisappointingLastLevel: The last area in the first game is mostly a straightforward path that has you doing nothing but hacking your way through hordes of respawning enemies and destroying the portals they come from. After beating the FinalBoss, you're treated to an AWinnerIsYou ending.
6* DumbassHasAPoint: The villagers planning a VirginSacrifice to appease the local dragon are presented as stupid. Regarding the possibilities a small town has at hand and various positive reactions of dragons towards occassional sacrifices in the aventurian past and present (like the bond between Smardur and the amazons of Kurkum), it would at very least have been a good plan B.
7* EvenBetterSequel: Or ''prequel''. While the game has a shorter length, a lower XP cap and fewer companions, some have this opinion of the prequel for factors such as the ability to return to previously visited locations (most of which gain new content as the game progresses), quick-travel points, more fleshed out companions and more alternative approaches to quests.
8* GameBreaker: Magical weapons that have a chance of inflicting wounds or knocking down the enemy by themselves, plus certain techniques like Bleeding, Death Strike and Rage Strike, which inflict lots of damage and wounds.
9* GoddamnBats:
10** Wolf rats are extremely common early on in the game, attack en masse and can inflict poison and wounds.
11** The fireflies in the Blood Mountains area. They're found in large groups, offer little to no XP when killed, and (like most enemies in the area) constantly respawn.
12* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: Both games are quite popular in Italy, considering that they were fully translated in italian with good voice acting to boot.

19** To get to Mother Ratzinsky in the first game, you have to fight through FIVE LEVELS full of [[GoddamnBats those GODDAMN RATS]]. You gain access to the quest pretty early on, which can make some of the rats on the later levels pretty difficult, especially if you're low on poison heals.
