* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: When Troxartas is killed by Deathstalker, he ''[[MadeOfExplodium explodes]]''. And turns into a pile of glowing green... stuff.
* FashionVictimVillain: Troxartas, the most ridiculously flamboyant villain in the series, and possibly of all films featured on ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000''.
* FightSceneFailure: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFopVNP-_aM Feast your eyes on the final duel!]] The other ''Deathstalker'' films had serviceable-to-decent swordfights, so the fact ''nothing'' about this battle works is glaring [[{{Narm}} in the most]] [[SoBadItsGood hilarious way possible.]]
* FridgeLogic: Oh, where do we start?
** How weird is it that the magic Troxartas is using to hold the souls of the warriors he has defeated does nothing to stop those same warriors from plotting with Deathstalker to find the artifact that is trapping their souls to begin with?
*** FridgeBrilliance: The magic works on LiteralGenie rules and doesn't stop the undead from taking other actions independently unless specifically told not to. i.e. Troxartas told them to bring Deathstalker back to his castle - he didn't specify that Deathstalker had to be dead first.
** Also, why doesn't Deathstalker destroying the artifact cause the Warriors From Hell to just drop dead right there? They stay in the battle, fighting for the good guys.
*** UnfinishedBusiness. They want a piece of Troxartas for what he put them through.
*** Also it was pretty explicitly stated that the Warriors from Hell were fully brought back to life, not just undead.
** One of them was explicitly killed by Deathstalker himself long before he came to this region; where did Troxartas get the body and why would he bother?
* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: On a meta sense, Thom Christopher recalls his experiences when making the film. The cast and crew knew it was campy and silly, but made the best of it and had a legitimately fun time while making it. Another story is how he spoke with the prop manager about using a parrying knife for his fight scenes and said prop manager forged the knife from scratch.
* LadyMondegreen: Troxartas' name is often misheard as "Truck Sawdust" or "Truck's Artist".
* {{Narm}}:
** The obvious Renaissance Festival in the opening.
** "Potatoes are what ''we'' eat!"
** "This is going to be a terrible year for OATS!!"
** "Fuck it! Work it!"
* OneSceneWonder: [[Film/ThePumaman Miguel Angel Fuentes]] as the one of twin princess' bodyguards.
* RetroactiveRecognition: This isn't the [[Film/WizardsoftheLostKingdom last time]] Thom Christopher played the BigBad in a movie that appeared on Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000.
* TheScrappy: Deathstalker himself, largely considered the worst version of the character. In lacking the commanding presence of Rick Hill's version and the lighthearted charisma of John Terlesky's version, this Deathstalker has nothing going for him in terms of charm, leaving him only with his usual vices.
* SpecialEffectFailure: Synthesized bird calls.
